Any entertainment going on there?

Well I've never stayed at the Swan (but we will be in fall of 2004).

But, I do know that Boardwalk is within walking distance and has plenty of entertainment.

There is plenty to do on the Boardwalk which is a very very short walk. I think this is the best place to stay because of the location and how close it is to all the FUN. We can't wait to go back.
:bounce: :smooth: :o :p

Don't forget about going back to EPCOT if you have the passes for it. It might be wonderful to bum around there for a while without doing the fireworks. Also the mini golf course is within walking distance.

goofymom23- I noticed that you were from Arlington, TX. I am too. Hello and since you only have 27 posts. Welcome to the boards!

Well depending on what you like to do there is quit a bit to do the boardwalk has a dance hall that is fun... and of course you could go back to Epcot... but at the hotel specifically, all I have found to do is relax in the hot tub. I don't want you to think that I think this is boring, the Swan is in the best location. If you were at another resort you would have to get on a bus to find something to do!!! You will love it I promise.

The boardwalk area is tons of fun. We like Jellyrolls (piano bar). Rent a surrey bike and catch the carnival-like entertainers along the boardwalk. Play miniature golf at Fantasia. If you like sports, go to the ESPN club. I'm not sure but I think either the Swan or Dolphin has a place that does karaoke. Don't know the name of it though.

We usually stay at Yacht or Beach Club and one of the reasons is the entertainment and dining in the Epcot Resort Area.

Kimonos inside the Swan is a sushi bar (small place) - they have karoke every night after 9pm. Fun for everyone (kids and adults).

Sometimes at 9pm we sit on the beach next to the Yacht Club pier with a drink and watch the Epcot fireworks.

Boardwalk might have some stuff to do - carnival games, Jelly Rolls Piano Bar, Atlantic Dance, restaurants, etc....
