Even the pictures of those nachos looked gross!!! I did not realize the Magic Your Way now had two rounds of mini-golf! Our next trip is the first without military tickets in a while...so I am excited to hear this!!I have mini-golf on my itinerary!!
I am looking so forward to the DL TR! I loved the pictures and FB hinted at a great trip!!
Love the pictures of the Swan and Fantasia golf course. Looks beautiful!
That area is my favorite in all of WDW
Awesome pictures of Mulch, Sweat & Tears- looks like they are on stage. Is that new? I have only seen them on their truck.
They were only on the stage because it was set up for May the 4th and Star Wars Weekends.
Bummer about the nachos at Sci Fi. We always eat there (we actually request the tables instead of a car so we can talk to each other). I had the single nastiest thing I have ever eaten at Disney here- the shrimp pasta. My DH asked me why I ordered a shrimp pasta dish at a hamburger place. I don't knowbut I won't be doing that again.
So back to May....
We were going to spend some time at the Boardwalk area
As we boarded, we heard a couple drivers talking and they were discussing how "all extra drivers were being sent over to the Magic Kingdom" and that it was "crazy" over there. This made us quite glad that wasn't going to be our next destination.
After a brief ride our bus arrived at the Swan
By now you have probably figured out that we were headed over to the Fantasia mini golf course.
Now that the "Magic Your Way" package includes 2 rounds of mini golf we always try and find time to play. Ya can't beat free!
When we got there is was a bit busy so while we waited for our tee time we went into the arcade and played some PacMan. Yep, we're old school![]()
and in the end I came out the victor!(only by 2 strokes but who's counting?)
We got into the park just in time to catch my favorite WDW "live" performers! Mulch, Sweat and Shears! If any of you aren't familiar with them they are "landscapers who double as a rock cover band". And they are so fun!!
When the concert finished we were a bit hungry so we headed over to the SciFi to see if we could get a table. Unfortunately, we did
Hmmm ok can't go wrong with nachos can you?
Behold! The worst nachos in the history of nachos!! They were horrible!
I'll let Caitlin tell you where we ended up. Thanks for reading![]()
Grammar police says that should be, "May we go back".
Or something like that.
That sounds a bit Yoda-ish to me
never been there,
never done that.
Well what are you waiting for?!
Just out of curiosity, would you still have gone if it had been your next stop?
Oh no! I try and avoid crowds so we would have changed plans.
never been.....
oh, you know the rest.
Well you must give it a try!
Nope. Not a clue, actually!
Never...
<sigh>
Good choice!
thank you
Well.... apparently... you!
I may be a tad competitive
I seem to recall you mentioning them before. I honestly don't remember if I've heard them. I'm going to go with, "not".
There seems to be a trend developing, doesn't there?
Woot!
Oh... wait....
Nope. Pretty much bullet proof.
Unless you're using blanks? That's too bad. How do you screw up nachos?
Chips.
Throw cheese on.
Melt.
Eat.
Doesn't feel like it oughta be that difficult?
Thanks for posting!![]()
Great pics!![]()
Nice update. I remember being in the show on the Backlot tour as well. It was a lot of fun.
I fell insanely behind with all the trip preparation going on here, but hey, Im back now!!
Dino is a no go for me, Ill go on it once, and if theres a new person in our travel group, but thats about it! I do not accept it! Lol.
Love TH, glad that the chef was so friendly and welcoming to the allergy! Thats awesome!!
Great updates! Love the relaxin boat ride in there, DHS to Epcot/BW area is always so nice! Love it! Aw, too bad the nachos were so horrible! I have to say, Im not the biggest fan of any of the food in DHS, its just not great!
I love all the stuff in the Ralph queue, its so adorable and just awesome!!
Yay for gluten free pizza! Glad they could do that for ya! I have to agree, I love me some Disney pizza, but its usually too greasey for me, and I end up wiping the top off with a napkin before eating it to try and absorb some of that haha!
Great Update! Can't wait until you get to your DL trip report.
I have to agree with you about the backlot tour, but I do enjoy the costume displays afterwards. I hope the creepy puppets are still there when we go in October. I love the Sound of Music.
Wreck It Ralph is on my to be watched list. Looks like its a favorite with most people so I want to see it.
Totally agree about Backstage Tour. It really needs an upgrade. It was fun when it first opened but there are no surprises anymore. Nothing interesting to see backstage, especially since they cut the area short.
Love the green army man - one of my favorites!
Hey everyone! Sorry I have been slow moving since we got back!
After we left we decided against food for the moment and decided to cross off one of our trip bucket list items.
Not these guys but I was super excited about this movie and it did not disappoint!
Ralph and Vanellope! I loved Wreck it Ralph and was very excited to meet them!
I don't know if many of you are gamers out there but I am and I was laughing at all of the puns listed on this board.
I don't think he quite understands what he is in for just yet
Oh Miley why did you ever have to leave Disney and become some weirdo?![]()
On your left you will see a plane. I am pretty sure you are all only riding this ride because your feet hurt or your children are too small to do anything else and I hate to break it to you but this ride will make standing in line 90 for Toy Story Mania seem not quite as painful.
Oh and you can see the earful tower. Get it?! It's a pun on the Eiffel tower. Yep been using this same monologue since 1990.
Although it will because we have to cram 10 seconds of excitement into this dreadful ride.
And now you may get off and yell are your spouse, husband or child that forced you onto this. Enjoy the wardrobe area we have set up for you which is much more up to date and high tech than this ride has ever been!
Afterwards we headed through the Pixar area and ran into this guy
Now if Captain Jack was meeting here I wouldn't pass it up. In fact it would probably be hard for me to leave here.
We headed to the Guest Services area to see if they had an recommendations but they only recommended ABC Commissary so naturally we ended up here
We headed back to the room and crashed!
Next up dad joins us!!!!!!
Dead Poets Society.
Good movie. Rent it.
