Have a great trip to DL - I'll be very interested to read your impressions of it in comparison to WDW. My family is extremely loyal to WDW, to the point of not even wanting to head to DL. I would love to see it!

But wouldn't that make for an interesting ride. At the end of it (or during... I'm not fussy) one or more riders run the risk of being eaten.

That would totally ruin the belief my grandma instilled in my mom that "Disney would never make a ride that would hurt you"

Hi All! As you know, we are back from our truly amazing Disneyland adventure and I can honestly say we all loved it just as much as we love WDW But before we get to that TR we need to finish this one. So back to May....


When Caitlin left off we had finished lunch at Tusker House and we then headed out of the park. We were going to spend some time at the Boardwalk area so we hopped on their bus. As we boarded, we heard a couple drivers talking and they were discussing how "all extra drivers were being sent over to the Magic Kingdom" and that it was "crazy" over there. This made us quite glad that wasn't going to be our next destination.

After a brief ride our bus arrived at the Swan








By now you have probably figured out that we were headed over to the Fantasia mini golf course. Now that the "Magic Your Way" package includes 2 rounds of mini golf we always try and find time to play. Ya can't beat free!

When we got there is was a bit busy so while we waited for our tee time we went into the arcade and played some PacMan. Yep, we're old school

We had a good time playing, took some pics








and in the end I came out the victor! (only by 2 strokes but who's counting?)

When we finished we walked over to the Dolphin to catch a boat to DHS. Along the way we passed these cute Swan boats. I just thought they were adorable and must rent one sometime!




After a peaceful boat ride we arrived here



We got into the park just in time to catch my favorite WDW "live" performers! Mulch, Sweat and Shears! If any of you aren't familiar with them they are "landscapers who double as a rock cover band". And they are so fun!!









When the concert finished we were a bit hungry so we headed over to the SciFi to see if we could get a table. Unfortunately, we did









When we asked to speak to the chef about their Gluten Free options we were greatly disappointed. They had very little Caitlin could even eat. The chef kindly offered to make us nachos though. Hmmm ok can't go wrong with nachos can you?

Before long our waitress arrived with these



Behold! The worst nachos in the history of nachos!! They were horrible! When the server asked why we didn't eat much we informed her that they were terrible and she very nicely comped our bill. We did appreciate that gesture!

We left hungry and in search of some DHS fun and maybe something to eat?

We love to play mini golf but rarely go at home so we always try and fit it in on vacation

We were blessed with great weather that trip. Sunny blue skies and not too hot or humid.

If you don't mind sitting at one of the picnic table you can usually get in SciFi. That day we walked up and got a car. We ended up with something a little better
