THEY'RE NOT GONNA MAKE IT! A tale from 2 cities!! THE END! pg 32

That's okay....

I've...

been......

slow........

read......

.....ing.

I won't hold it against you now that you have your own TR. It can be hard juggling everything.

After the nasty nachos... hmmmm.... maybe they could call them that?

Nasty Nachos - You'll leave wanting less!

Anyway... After the nasty nachos, I'm not surprised that you lost your appetites!

:rotfl2: Yeah I am not quite sure what the chef was thinking when he made those.

Still haven't seen it. :sad2:

<sigh> Nope. Haven't seen that one, either.

You need to sit down and watch both of them!
Yup! I got some of them, at least.

Was is supposed to be backwards? :confused3

Yes it's supposed to look like you are inside the video game.

Pretty sure he had it all figured out shortly afterwards.

That movie I did see. Both DDs were big Hanna Montana fans back then.

Oddly enough, not so much, now.

You raised them right if they aren't Miley Cyrus fans anymore!

:lmao: Actually, we didn't mind the tour.

Maybe 'cause we only ride it once every 20 years or so...

What??? That's brilliant!! Earful tower!!! OMG!!! They should so keep using that line!!!!

:rolleyes1:

:rotfl2:

:rotfl:

I still remember when we saw the dress that Julia Roberts wore in Pretty Woman

Dead Poets Society.

Good movie. Rent it.

I have seen it and I am pretty sure now that's why I took the picture.

Was he hurt? Did you knock him down?

No luckily he was alright!

Oh? Why not? Do you like the anarchistic lifestyle?

Yes my idea of a good time involves pillaging villages and drinking rum...Well actually I am not fully kidding about that...

Only. recommended. ABC Commissary.... :faint:

Really?
I guess they figured that the food is so bad there, that there wouldn't be a wait?

They said I might have more options since they have the biggest kitchen out of any of the counter service restaurants.

I bet you crashed! Busy day!
Thanks for the update! :goodvibes

Thank you for reading!

:thumbsup2

Excellent movie. Bought it. =)

It is very good!

You really had bad look with food that day.
I have ridden the Backlot ride one time. It was on my first trip to Disney World in 1995. Obviously I was not impressed. I hope some of the rumors are true about using that space for something else, ANYTHING else.

Tusker house wasn't a flop that day.

Yeah we usually ride it because we are bored :rotfl2:

I hope so too!

If you book a package you get 2 rounds of golf no matter how many people are in your party. So if have 4 people you just have to pay for 2. IMO its one of the better offerings in the package.
Good info to know! Being so used to going, I haven't read the "small print" (although not that small!) but went back and see this in MYW! I am super excited now! Splitsville discounts too!!

I totally agree about the Backlot Tour! Every time we do ride, I keep hoping that the memories from before were wrong...but it wasn't! :(

I loved the Wreck It Ralph area! So cute! I couldn't convince anyone to go with me in March and on a short trip, I just skipped it. So sad I did now!

Finally caught up! Work has been sucky lately and I never got a chance to tell you ladies that it was great meeting you! And it, I admit, the look on my husband's face was priceless!!

They give great discounts in the books and I agree a lot of people can look right over them!

Aw! Yeah I liked it as a kid but now it's really sad!

I loved meeting him! The area alone was worth going over there!

Glad to see you on the DIS!

Hope work gets better!

He did look very surprised :lmao:

Hi Gang! This trip report is getting near the end as we are up to our last full day in WDW. This also meant it was the last full day we would have together before Caitlin moved across the country. As you might imagine the day was pretty emotional :( We did have something to look forward to that day in that Dale was arriving. You see it was supposed to have been a family trip but his company blacked out that week for management to take vacation so that stopped him from being there the whole week. However, with Caitlin moving he decided to just come for one night and see her off and make sure I got home and didn't run away with her ;)

Now that ya' know the background let's get this day started....

On this particular morning we were headed to Disney's Hollywood Studios. We left the hotel about 8am and at 8:45 the park opened. (yes they say it opens at 9 but they are tricky and really open 15 min early!)

Like everybody else who is at DHS at opening we headed straight here

We said "good morning" to this charming fellow as we walked on the ride

Caitlin won that round and when we got outside we saw there was still not a line so we walked on a second time :cool1:

Unfortunately Caitlin won that round too! From there we hit the TSM FP line and then headed over to the RNRC. Caitlin got in the standby and I found a bench and sat down in the shade and called my mom.

In the queue she noticed they are now promoting Disney Channel stars

The rest of the ride is the same though

After her ride we headed back over toward Pixar Studios

We walked on TSM again! Score! And this time yours truly was the victor!! No need to cheer. I know you were rooting for me to beat her ::yes::

We then headed over to meet a couple of our favorite monsters

I just love Sully. He is like a big, cuddly teddy bear.

As we were walking out we noticed they had some photospots set up for the upcoming Star Wars Weekend.

She is much cuter than that mean old Darth Vader

After a Star Wars photo op the only logical ride to visit next was of course, Star Tours! Caitlin rode solo and had fun doing the pod race version.

It was now going on 11 and we had accomplished everything we wanted to do at DHS so we decided to leave and go have lunch.

We got a boat and headed here

Honestly, isn't that are just the prettiest?!

So serene

And if you turned around and looked the other way you would see this

continued next post

After taking some pictures and soaking in all the beauty we headed into Beaches and Cream for lunch.

Just as we sat down we got a text from Dale saying he was at MCO and about to pick up his rental. We figured we had about an hour til we saw him so we told him we'd eat and meet him at the front entrance to Epcot.

Caitlin had this. I'm not sure what it is but you can believe me that it is some sort of healthy gluten free thing :crazy2:

I on the other hand, have quite the gourmet palate and ordered this delicacy

We both enjoyed our lunches and sat and talked about the wonderful trip we'd had. When we finished we headed over to Epcot's "secret" back entrance

Dale still hadn't arrived so we stopped here

(remember Flower and Garden fest had food booths this year)

and Caitlin tried this

Yep! That is a drunken Dole Whip float. She thoroughly enjoyed it!

Just as she finished it we got a text saying Dale was at the park so we rushed up to the front for a teary reunion.

This seems like a good place to stop so I will let Caitin tell you more next time. Thanks for reading :)

Two early morning TSM runs... Nice!! Oh wait... THREE runs! Wow!

It's so amazing the beauty of this place. Just everywhere you go it's just prettier than the last.

And Drunkin' Dole Whip... Sorry I missed that one.

What can I say? We love TSM :)

I agree. The resorts and parks are all just amazing!

Yea, that wasn't the "official" name but it gets the point across. :rotfl:

Another great update!! Love Beaches and Cream, such a great place to stop for lunch!! I definitely plan on taking Mom there this week! :cool1:

Yay for drunken dole whip!! It was something that I really wanted to try but was never at Epcot!

Thank you. Beaches and Cream is so cute and the food is better than just counter service. I hope your mom enjoys it and I hope you two have a wonderful trip :goodvibes
