I forgot to tell you that I think your outfits for your November trip looks AMAZING :lovestruc

Love all the outfits.

Thank you!!!

Love the outfits!

Thank you!!!!

First off, your outfits are just great. Very creative and whimsical. You're going to look great at Disney and at your turkey run! I think Minnie and the Donald MVMCP are my favorites.

If you take away the Tweedle accessories, you could Disneybound as Snow White if you added some blue accents.

Thanks!!! I am pretty excited. Like I said before - I think half the reason I love running so much is that I get to dress up. LOL

Oooh - you are right - that is an idea! :thumbsup2

Thank you! :)

What a relief that you found your head pieces. I can't believe you have started to pack for your November trip already.

How exciting that V has a boy friend. I hope all goes well when he comes over to your house.

It sounds like a very good idea to take Josh with you grocery shopping. I think it's the only way for him to understand how much things cost. I really hope he understands how difficult it is to get everything within your budget when your done shopping today.

My Jet lag is much better than I feared it would be. I think it was a good thing that I managed to sleep a little (even if it only was a little) on the planes. And when I came home I slept until 1.30PM the first day. I had to get up at 10.30AM the second day to go therapy horseback riding. The 3rd day I had to get up at 11.00AM to have the appointment with my new car. The 4th day I slept until noon. And today I slept until 12.30PM. So I've taken it much easier than the last time, but I would have prefered to take the whole sleeping a little more a step at a time and slept one hour less each day. But the way I've done it this time seems to have worked because, today I woke up with out a head ache. That's very good.

I called my friend today and asked if I could borrow her car to try it in my garage. She said yes :woohoo: So tomorrow she is coming with the car so we can try it in my garage. I'm very excited. I really hope we don't have a problem getting it in there.

Well - my November trip is approaching quickly - and I am so glad I laid everything out - I was really overwhelmed yesterday - and I think if I would have done that any closer to my trip, I probably would have had issues. So, I am glad I've started now. ::yes::

Shopping went OK - it was different. He didn't do any better than I did though.... Honestly. Although -I don't think he realizes that. Oh well - I tried.

Glad your jet lag is going OK... And glad to hear your headaches have been better this time around.

Yay for the car - good luck!

I rarely go shopping with Charlie, since we usually end up spending much more than I had planned on. Luckily for me, he does most of the grocery shopping.

I had a NSV today. Took Kate to try on her wedding dress that we ordered back in July. Unfortunately, it didn't fit and there is no way to alter it, so we needed to order another size. But, I tried on 2 MOB dresses - one was on clearance and was a size 8, which didn't fit, but I tried on another that was a size 10 that did fit - not too tight either. Didn't really care for it on me - I think it was too much bling, but the good news is that I was wearing a size 14 a few month ago.

Figures - LOL We definitely purchased items that we don't normally purchase. Oh well - He thinks he did good... So, I may just hand it over to him for a while. :scratchin LOL

Yay!!!! This is awesome!!! So proud of you!!! We must be close to the same size - or you may even be smaller? That is so awesome!!!! WTG!!!! :woohoo:

All of your outfits look good. Glad to hear your found all the head pieces. Thinking they were lost sounds scary.
Taking my late husband grocery shopping never went well. We always ended up spending a lot more that we should have.
I wish I could help you with the last outfit but I have no ideas. I just wear my every day clothes to Disney. I've only been to the Christmas party once and I had a great time. It was very cold that year and I wore my leather jacket, a turtle neck, a sweater and jeans. It was cold enough for real snow.
Have a great weekend.
Liz

Thanks - I was so relieved!!!

Yah - that's kind of how it went with Josh yesterday - we didn't spend more, but we purchased things we don't normally purchase - and I still have necessities on the list that I need to get. Sigh. Oh well.

I try to wear every day clothes - it's the accessories I like to go all out on. LOL I cannot wait to do the Christmas party!!!!

Thanks you too!

I forgot to tell you that I think your outfits for your November trip looks AMAZING :lovestruc

Thanks Lillian!!!

********************************************************************************************

Grocery shopping with Josh yesterday was interesting.... We purchased a few things that we don't normally purchase - which is OK - but we still have necessities to buy... Oh well...

Then I came home and worked all day... I finished last week's custom order and I also finished a side project.

We met Victoria's boyfriend last night - he is a very nice boy... He brought her a dozen beautiful roses, and hung out most of the evening. Of course - we welcome him back any time. ::yes::

I was so tired last night, I went to bed early - I don't even remember Josh coming to bed. He stayed up with the kids.

MM crawled into bed with us around 3am... which he NEVER does... If he crawls into bed with us - it's right when we go to bed, then he stays for about an hour and leaves.... Last night he came in at 3am... And stayed the rest of the night. When I got up this morning - I realized that the gate to the living room was locked, so that's likely why he came upstairs. LOL He wanted a comfy place to sleep.

Today... I am going out for my run shortly... I have to do 3.5 miles today.

Then I am going to come home and work on a bag for myself for the November trip.... I woke with an incredible idea this morning - and I cannot wait to get to work on it!!!! Sometimes when I am inspired to do something - I just cannot function or do anything else until I finish that. So, I've learned that I better get to work ASAP - or nothing else will get done. ::yes:: I am very excited to show you all!!! Hopefully this week. :scratchin

OK - I better get going!!! I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday! :grouphug;

I'm sorry to hear that Grocery shopping with Josh didn't go as well as you wished.

Sounds like Victoria's boyfriend is a really nice guy.

I had to smile when I red what MM did last night.

My friend did come over with her car to try it in my garage. She drove in to the garage with no problem. Parked it in my parking space and we discussed how it was to drive it in and we both agreed that it wasn't too long for my parking space. But getting it out of the garage was harder. To get out of the garage there is a curve you have to come through. She had some problems making the curve and getting the car out the door. Neither her or I could understand why it was easier to come into the garage than getting out. You have to drive through the same curve both getting in and getting out. Then Ulf said it has to do with if it's the wheels in front of the curve or back of the curve that turns. So our conclusion is that I will have to drive in as normal and reverse the car out. Well, I don't know what to think right now. I still have some time to think about it all. But now we have tried it and we know how it fits and what is going to be a challenge.

Can't wait to see the bag you are making for yourself.

Food shopping sucks. Hopefully if you let josh do it a few times he will get it. DH and I went food shopping yesterday. Girls were at a friends playing so we went first to a local fruit store, stopped at trader joes to get the girls dried fruit ($55 later), went to whole foods. Then stopped at Costco. Kind of crazy.

We booked the hotel for your Disneyland trip this morning. Now just have to hope for no snow days, or the he girls will miss as school. They have a weird school schedule. And have to do lots of research on Disneyland.

Cute outfits...love the headband...I am especially fond of the tree.

I have a request of you...send me a pm with the oven temp for those potatoes you make with the bacon...went back a few pages but could not find it...I want to try them! :)

Thanks!

Hey D! I had a busy weekend so I'm just catching up now!

Thanks!!! I love them - most of the time, they are super good puppies and get along... Cooper likes to pick on MM and he's not always so nice to him... MM is so docile - he just lets him, which is sad to me. I hope that Cooper settles down a little bit soon.

Usually when dogs get older and more mature, they start to calm down a bit, so I wouldn't worry too much.

I am super excited to wear this on TG day! :woohoo:

That Thanksgiving outfit is just too cute!!! It is so festive, and looks very comfortable as well::yes::

After we grocery shop... I am coming home to work... I have to finish up last week's bag. I am "off" in my sewing room this coming week - so I am going to work on some side projects and hopefully also a certain Goofy bag. ::yes::

YAY! Can't wait to see that!

Tonight, we get to meet Victoria's boyfriend. I have not mentioned him - and I probably won't for a while yet. But they have been friends since the 3rd grade... He is coming for dinner tonight, and we are all very anxious to meet him. Gus is also "home" from college this weekend - so he will be here too. Poor Josh... He is definitely NOT ready for this. LOL

From what you said in a later post - I'm glad everything went well with V's boyfriend.:goodvibes

So, I took Cooper to the vet to get weighted while I purchased MM's food... 69# bruit he is... LOL MM is 83... So, SC is right on his heels... It won't be long before he passes MM up!
I remember seeing pictures of Cooper when he was just a little baby - I can't believe he is that size already!

About an hour into it - I found them... I forgot that I had put one of my sewing machine covers over the box, I needed somewhere to put the cover and that box was the perfect size. HUGE sigh of relief here! Phew!
That's great you found verything. I hate when I misplace something important - it makes me crazy until I find it!

First off is my MVMCP outfit... I ordered the headband set off of Etsy... The bow and Christmas tree are interchangeable..
Adorable! Love that.

Next... Is one of my Donald outfits... I pay a LOT of $$ for my custom gear... So, I reuse everything, trip after trip. So, you will see all of my same accessories being reused - and only my outfits changing out. I am reusing my Donald bag from previous trips... My bling from Pixie Twist... Ears are from Princess Pie (I sure do miss Jennifer so much), Shoes are from Terri... Red fleece... Blue striped shirt... White capris. I'll have my black flip-flops to change into when my feet can't wear my Donald shoes anymore. ::yes::

20150925_141435.jpg

I LOVE your Donald outfit! It's just perfect - especially the bag!:goodvibes And I love the bows as well - did you get those bottle cap stickers at Michael's? Because I believe I got the same pack there last year and used them for my senior crown at school.

I hope you all enjoyed seeing my outfits! I love putting them together and dressing up at Disney. As you all see - I kind of go with a "theme"... because my accessories are sometimes outrageous - I like to have plain clothes to off set that a little bit. I like to stand out - but I don't want to be too out there either. ::yes::
No matter what - your outfits always look fantastic! I love them all - laying them all out must be making you even more ecxcited for the November trip! :cool1:

ometimes when I am inspired to do something - I just cannot function or do anything else until I finish that. So, I've learned that I better get to work ASAP - or nothing else will get done. ::yes:: I am very excited to show you all!!! Hopefully this week. :scratchin
can't wait to hear about it! :goodvibes

I love the outfits for November trip. The accessories really add a lot. The Christmas ones will be so much fun to wear at the party. I can't wait to see what your new bag looks like.

I always bring my DH grocery shopping. I hate to shop and I'm not much of an eater, either. He would starve if he didn't come with me. ;)

The outfits look great. Can't wait to see the pics from your trip. I'm glad grocery shopping went well. When my hubby comes shopping with me we usually spend more and he is usually shocked at how much food is. I've actually started doing a lot more shopping in Walmart. They even have quite a few organic items. Last week I probably had about 12 bags of groceries from Walmart and then 3 or 4 from Whole Foods. Guess which store I spent more money in ?!

Eeep! Outfits are on the table....it's getting real now :)

I know what bag you're making! Yay I can't wait!!!

Yay - glad you were able to get your friend's car to work out and figure out how you are going to park it! :woohoo: That was so nice of her to do this for you! You'll be an expert at parking your own new car in no time! :thumbsup2

Can't wait to see the bag you are making for yourself.

It does... It's awful... It's just sooo expensive. I think it pays off to shop at various stores - especially, if you are like me, and the stores are right in a row (except for Trader Joes - that's a drive for us no matter what)... OH well, we all do the best we can. :)

Yay!!!! So exciting! :woohoo: FX for no snow days! ::yes::

I sent you a pm last night. :)

Thanks for taking the time to catch up! :)

Yes - I am hoping Cooper calms down a little bit... Yesterday, he peeled back the carpet on my stairs and started eating the padding underneath. Grrrr... I can't be too upset - he is saving us work later, as this carpet needs to be replaced, but it's still so annoying. After he ate my brand new kitchen floor a few weeks ago - I am starting to wonder what his deal is with floors?

Thanks - I am super excited to wear it for Thanksgiving morning - and I am very relieved to have it finished - November is going to be crazy with a Disney trip - so having this done early has been a huge relief! ::yes::

I know - I am the same way - and I was absolutely devastated to have lost it... In my mind it's irreplaceable. Just thankful I found it and all is good now.

Thanks!!! I love my Donald gear - I would like to add something new to it, as I feel like I've worn it all so much - it's getting a little sickening. But... Not for this trip - too much other stuff to try to do. Surprisingly, the Donald bag - I was so leery of using white on the bottom like that - granted, I am pretty cautious when I am carrying it - but it's still a pristine white... Which makes me happy. ::yes:: Not sure about the bottlecap stickers??? I didn't make those - so it's definitely possible. :scratchin

Thanks - laying them out does get me excited - for sure. But it's also very overwhelming... There is a lot to remember to pack, and I am trying to figure out how I am going to do it this time around to make it easier on myself while we are there. I am half-way contemplating packing each outfit in a Ziploc bag, so it's all together... Part of me thinks this will work - but the other part of me is a little skeptical... Seeing as some of my bottoms need to be worn twice... I am going to have to take several hours one day ~soon~ to figure out how I am going to do this. Then there's the bags I am bringing... Those take up so much space too... Eeep... I am suddenly super nervous about this - I need to figure it out.

Thanks!!! I am very excited! I never thought I would ever get to Disney at Christmas time any time soon - so this trip is just amazing to me! I cannot wait to be there.

I am excited to share it!

Hahaha... I think we are opposites for grocery shopping. :scratchin

Thanks!!! I am excited to share them - when I have them. LOL

I do some shopping in Walmart - mostly just items I can't get at Target - but for us, even walmart is way more expensive than Aldi for produce... And to be honest - we don't buy a lot of stuff in other parts of the store. I do a lot of my shopping at Target - Walmart is almost always just a penny cheaper per item than Target - but then I get my discount... So, it's better for me to be shopping at Target. But I totally understand - no matter where you go - it's so expensive... I do think we have our grocery budget set too low, but at the moment, we need to live with it. Sigh.

*************************************************************************************************

OK - today is going to be a quick update...

I went for my "long run" yesterday morning... It was supposed to be 3.5 miles, but I think I cut it a hair short - including warm up and cool down. I still don't understand that though... To my runner friends - if I am supposed to go for a 3.5 mile run - is that only the time I am running, or does that include warm up and cool down too??? Anyways - I was half-way to town when I realized I left my Garmin at home, so I had to run yesterday with the Map My Run app... Which means my phone was in my SPIbelt all of the time - so I had to guess how far I had gone, and I had no idea what my pace was I did pretty good - IMO. It was a great run! I love this trail, and I really look forward to running here. I do need to take a look at the trail map though - and see which way is the best way to extend my run... Next week is another 3.5 mile run, so I can probably do the same thing... but the following week is 4 miles - and I need to scope out where I am going. ::yes::

e64dc4ea-8e1c-4da3-951e-9a8db8b68aed.jpg

After - Allison and I did a little bit of left-over shopping...

Then I came home an worked. I had a fly in my bonnet yesterday and I started working on a new outfit theme for myself - it literally HIT me yesterday morning, and sometimes when I get hit with inspiration like that - I am almost shocked into a standstill, and I cannot accomplish anything else until I finish that. So - I worked like a mad woman yesterday... I worked before my run - after my run - before dinner - after dinner... I literally have less than an hour's work left on this bag. :woohoo: I know - crazy isn't it? But I am super excited about this one - it's so EASY, I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner... And it's easy enough - I could make 2 days out of it... So, my problem is solved... Tweedle is OUT for sure.... And I haven't decided if I am making Goofy yet or not? Probably - because that's an easy one too... I love it when any of my outfits can be worn in any park. ::yes:: I contacted another store on Etsy last night to see if they can do a custom headband for this outfit for me... And I have Erin waiting in the wings for one more bling set... :woohoo: Eeeep.... I love dressing up for Disney! I cannot wait to show you all my idea!

OK - so today....

I am working out this morning... Must get a little more serious about my eating - I have a trip coming up. So, today is the day to be serious again... I've been allowing too much junk into my life - and belly bloat has taken over big time.

Then I am in my sewing room all day... I am going to finish up my surprise bag - -then I am on to a couple of side projects for the week... It should be a fun and FULL week for me! ::yes::

I hope you all have an amazing day today!!! :grouphug: Prayers and PIxie Dust to all!!!

I know - soooo excited!!!!

Hahaha.... Shame on you.... You know the bag I am making - but I don't know the resort I am staying at... :scratchin LOL Totally kidding - I know it's my own fault that I don't want to know where we are staying.

Love you Swoozie!!!

D~

Sounds like you had fun in your sewing room yesterday. I can't wait to see what you made.
Looks like your run went well even if you forgot your Garmin.

Hi D. If you're doing the Jeff Galloway 10k, the 3.5 miles is just running. The warm up and cool down aren't included in it.

Can't wait to see your bag!

D~

I would pack each outfit minus the shared bottoms in a ziplock bag. This way you know it is done, air scuked out to make it smaller in the suitcase. Just don't forget to pack the bottoms.

Your outfits are SO fabulous! I love them! Such a fun idea...I wear either character/Disney t-shirts or white shirts (I have a thing for white shirts...)...haven't gone all out yet but I really, really want to! So fun!

- if I am supposed to go for a 3.5 mile run - is that only the time I am running, or does that include warm up and cool down too???

No, the running mileage doesn't include your warm up/cool down times. After every run I go to garminconnect.com and program my run for the next morning. It lets me set my warm up/cool down times (5 min of walking each), then I set the run segments in either time or distance. I am loving using my new Garmin!

I am still hoping to make myself a bag for Ak

OMG your bags are so cool! I love your MVSCP bag...adorable - I am sure an AK one would be just as cute...wish I had your talent for crafty things!

UGH - and I just found out that this is finals week too! Grrr!!!!

Ugh....

Allison doesn't mind - this is her senior year,

Well if she doesn't mind...when I was in high school I got stressed about missing school. My dd is in grade 5 so I don't worry about it now...but who knows in a few years...

I will pack my outfits into zip loc bags

What a cool idea!!

I love all your outfits - you are so creative!!

I pack my girls outfits in Ziploc bags when we go to WDW. It just makes life easier to pack & know what they are gonna wear each day. I would pack the shared shorts/bottoms with the first outfit you plan to wear them with. Packing this way really does help save space! I was surprised just how well it worked For your bags I'd try those bigger space saving bags & see if they will save you some space too.

I am starting to wonder what his deal is with floors?
My dog was the same way when she was little, but instead of floors it was chairs!!! She would eat the legs of the chais and people would always wonder why there were teeth marks.... When they are this age though, they are still technically teething - so they love to chew things 0 no matter what they are! I promise it gets better!

Surprisingly, the Donald bag - I was so leery of using white on the bottom like that - granted, I am pretty cautious when I am carrying it - but it's still a pristine white.
That's awesome! Yeah I know whenever I'm wearing anything white - I am always a little more cautious becuase a stain will show up so easily! Do you ever have to wash the bag - or are you so caring to it that it has just stayed that wonderful color of white?

I am half-way contemplating packing each outfit in a Ziploc bag, so it's all together...
Yeah by doing this it could save you some room.
Then there's the bags I am bringing... Those take up so much space too... Eeep...
How many suitcases are you bringing? Are you checking one? If so - maybe could you bring a small carry on suitcase to fit more of your things - and goodies you get from Disney??
I had a fly in my bonnet yesterday and I started working on a new outfit theme for myself - it literally HIT me yesterday morning, and sometimes when I get hit with inspiration like that - I am almost shocked into a standstill, and I cannot accomplish anything else until I finish that.

That's great when they are pretty easy as well! :thumbsup2
I love dressing up for Disney! I cannot wait to show you all my idea!

Can't wait to see it either! :goodvibes

Then I am in my sewing room all day... I am going to finish up my surprise bag - -then I am on to a couple of side projects for the week... It should be a fun and FULL week for me! ::yes::
Enjoy it! :goodvibes:tigger:

your going to be sweating your caboose off with those sweatshirts! and like me and the plane home they are HEAVY! LOL!!

can't wait to SEE YOU GUYS!!!
