They're everywhere! They're everywhere . . . Disney bloggers I mean :)

i follow a few on instagram or twitter but thats as much as i can take of them. tried watching a few videos but most of their personalities are not to my liking. they feel fake whether that's true or not.
I couldn't agree more - I check a few sites here and there, follow a few on Twitter, but as for watching the videos on YouTube? Ugh - complete torture. Fake people and personalities. Over-hyped reviews. Just not my thing. Agree so much about their personalities and fake-ness. Sorry everyone....

We’ve been watching the DIS, Michael Kay, Paging Mr Morrow pretty regular for about 2 years. About the same time we bought DVC. Recently a new one Vincent Vision showed up and reminded me why I started watching to begin with. It’s new, fun, positive, etc. when politics or real life creep in they wither up and die for me. I go to Disney and enjoy Life.

We started years ago with See Ya Reel Soon. Completely authentic and appreciate that and the outside of the box adventures they took us on. We also appreciated that they never referred viewers to the vast ways to send them money. Tracker got political a few years back and we left, Resort TV1 was 100% there for the money and whatever perks they could sponge from others and shamelessly plugging other friends channels. The greed and bullying from the older brother grew more and more intense with each show. We’re sticking to DFB and Molly at All Ears for pro tips. Chloe & Dan are a fun couple, and still love See Ya Reel Soon!

We've recently gotten into vlog viewing as part of our planning and research for a 2022 trip. I haven't been to a Disney park in 20 years, and my partner hasn't been since she was a kid, so we have a lot to catch up on! We like getting a mix of informational style (Molly at AllEars and DFB), personal perspective style (Paging Mr. Morrow and Super Enthused), and reviews (DIS and WDW Couple). We also watch TimTracker because my partner is a Jackson fan. :)

What we don't like as much are the ones who hammer on the subscription or donation pressure, those who spend more time talking about what they're planning to do than showing themselves actually doing it, and those who can't seem to leave the camera frame even when they're trying to physically show us specific things, like in a park or room tour.

We access YouTube through our Apple TV. The Disney bloggers are essentially their own "network" on our TV. I've heard some people watch them every night. Maybe for an hour or more. Is what I've heard.

That's us these days. The trip planning has become a bona fide hobby. We start with whatever's new from AllEars, Paging Mr. Morrow, and Super Enthused, and by the time we're done with those, we usually have specific things we want to watch more of, so we just check out whatever looks good on specific topics. All in all, we watch anywhere from an hour to several hours a night these days! I'm sure the obsession will taper over time.

Adam Hattan and Gary C are definitely, our favourites. While the Covid thing has limited their travel for the past year or so, they are the most enjoyable guys to watch. They should have their own sitcom!

I can't wait for them to get back! Have rewatched all of their series over the last year. Same goes for Victoria and Ian from Disney in Detail!

I haven’t heard the trackers say anything political. I’m curious as to what they were political about? The politics of Disney or actual politics?

There were allegedly some twitter posts a while back from Jen. I don't think it was ever in their videos.

I say "allegedly" only because I didn't see them.

Having had two trips cancelled as we can't fly from the UK, we in desperation have just started watching vlogs!

So far we really like Paging Mr Morrow, and have watched a couple of Tim Tracker.
I just can't like Tim very much I'm afraid. And I sort of feel that you should give out correct information - we watched the OKW vlog, as we own DVC there, and he said he thinks home resorts could be booked at 12 months out and other resorts at 9 months out. I'm sorry, but at least check some basic facts!

We may give Super enthused a try as we saw her in Mr Morrow's flower and garden video.

Prince Charming Dev may be worth a look as well I think.

I think we are more interested in the resort tours and the day to day of the parks, rather than we got on a flight at x time etc.

Keeping everything crossed we can travel in December as the vlogs will hold us over till then!

Has anyone else noticed a significant increase in the number of ads per YouTube video? At first I thought maybe the creators were adding more (which I'd be fine with) but I see a significant increase across all videos 😒

this is youtube saying you need to pay them for ad-free content

After I started watching multiple hours of Disney vloggers each day and noticed that on the longer videos, the commercial interruptions were showing up every 3-4 minutes by the end of the videos, I subscribed to YouTube Premium (the ad-free YouTube). I recommend it emphatically if you can afford it; it's been fantastic.

Here's some of our favorites;

PC Dev (formerly Prince Charming Dev) - Keeps it real, has good content
Provost Park Pass - The most entertaining, very humorous
The Tim Tracker - We don't watch them as much as we used to but we still like them on occasion
The Daily Woo - I'm probably the only one in my family that watches him regularly

We watch several others from time to time depending on the content.

Our favorite is Mickey Views (Brayden). His delivery is fast paced & focused.

Editing to add: I've been uneasy with bloggers, more recently vloggers, since the early 90s. When attending our annual tech conference at WDW, the bloggers got the best seats at the General Opening Session. FWIW, I didn't find their content particularly useful or accurate ... so it really bugged me that they were 'favored' during this time. The industry adulation over minor media was embarrassing to watch and sometimes frustrating to real conversation and progress.

That said, WDW bloggers and vloggers ... I don't even notice them. I s'pose I'm either over my early hostility or, in the grand scheme of things, I don't consider WDW reporting to be of any particular importance? The few I watch are purely entertainment.
I'm amazed at some of the inaccuracies the vloggers have. For example, I like Tim the Tracker but he did a tour of SSR and new NOTHING about the resort. He was also clueless about the difference about Copper Creek and Boulder Ridge. I mean he gets 500-800k views please put some time into your research.

This is so so very true. Also a weird trend I've noticed with most Disney bloggers.. they all seem to mispronounce the most common/easy words? It's probably easier to critic as a viewer than someone recording a one take clip but it makes me laugh every time 😄

I dealt with them on a regular basis, most were a little annoying. I got the impression that they thought they knew more about WDW than I did. I must respectively disagree.
