They'd Better Get Ready on the East Coast!! May 2009 **TR started on TR boards!!**

Love Forever 21; such cute clothing at great prices!

I love your Eeyore shirt, too. I'm trying to find one before our trip!

It wasn't you who "fouled" the pool, was it? :lmao:

The Eeyore outfit works! You can't go wrong with a pair of khaki shorts, they go with everything!!

I know, it is one of my favourite stores.:thumbsup2

I found the Eyeore shirt at disneyoutlet.com for $3.99... they have some great deals!

I love both of your AK outfits. Very cute!! :thumbsup2

Thank you!

Aw I love Eeyore!

Me too. He's so cuddly!:cloud9:

LOL I actually just giggled aloud. No, I wasn't even in the pool while it was being "fouled".:rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: I swear!

Oh, and a little Disney ADR update:

I just made an ADR for Spoodles on May 4th.:woohoo: We've never eaten there before but are planning on ordering some appetizers, drinks and desserts before going to the EMH at DHS. Looking forward to it!

For anyone keeping track, that means our ADRs so far are for:

Teppan Edo
Spoodles
Ohana

Still not sure if we're going to add another one to the list or not...

I'm on board! Gonna go back & read, but I'm here!

What's your major? I'm working on degree #2 right now (nursing school). My goal is to have a minimum of 3!

Your mom looks like she could be your sister!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Hi Beka, welcome!!!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I started out university majoring in Communications but... realized that wasn't for me. Now I'm taking social work and the program I'm in is great because I get a 4 year university degree (B.A in Human Services) and a 2 year college diploma in early childhood education/social service work. I think the Canadian system is a tiny bit different than the American system though. I don't know what the equivalent of a college diploma would be in the US?

Once I'm done with my 4 year degree I'm planning on getting my MSW (Masters of Social Work).

Confusing enough?:rotfl:

I think nursing seems like a great career. A lot of people in my family are nurses and it has always interested me. Right now I'm working in a hospital setting (kids rehabilitation center) and I think I want to continue to work in a hospital setting once I'm done school. I really find it inspirational. What is your first degree in?

And I will pass on your compliment to my mom!! She would love to hear that. We are celebrating her 50th birthday on our trip but I think she looks so much younger.:goodvibes

I'm here...subscribing. I was in the middle of reading your PTR and my computer shut down. However, I will go back and read your entire PTR!!! Right now my brain has shut down for the night.

Again, the outfit is adorable! Love the matching sandals and belt! :lovestruc

I agree about AK. It's so wonderfully themed over there that I could just wander around soaking up the scenery for a few hours and never actually ride anything! :goodvibes And you're another Primeval Whirl lover! Just about everyone in my family HATES that ride, but I think it's awesome! :thumbsup2

I love the outfit too! The belt and the shoes are too great! They will make a great staple to any outfit I think. :goodvibes

Well...I've been gone for what seems like forever but I LOVE YOUR OUTFITS!!! :thumbsup2 So cute. You're going to Disney so soon! I bet you're about to scream with excitement. I would! :woohoo:

Hi there and party: WELCOME!!!party:

Ugh, I hate computer crashes. But thanks for posting, it's nice to have you here!:goodvibes Hope you enjoy following along!

I LOVE Primeval Whirl! I was really disappointed that I didn't get to ride it in December so I totally plan on making up for lost time. Say hello for me when you're there!:rotfl:

Thank you! I got the belt at www.thefifteendollarstore.com, it's one of my favourite website for cheap stuff. Everything on there really is $15! Sometimes it takes a little searching but the belt I got is Silver and it's real leather. It was a great deal!

Love the Eeyore top -- very cute!!

Thank you so much. I'm glad you like it!

Hey there! I've got to go catch up on your PTR as well!

I feel like our trip is still ages away though.:rotfl2: 66 more days but it feels like forever. I'm going crazy with anticipation. I have to say though, I love the anticipation. I get almost sad when we're leaving that the wait is over.

:thumbsup2 The Eeyore outfit looks good. I really like your shoes!

Thank you! I almost didn't get the shoes but I couldn't help it. I HATE shoe shopping so when I see shoes I like I have to grab them.:lmao: Otherwise it means I'll just have to go later. I have really narrow feet so it's hard finding shoes that fit and I'm kinda picky too. I have to be dragged to the mall to buy new shoes usually, or else I won't go LOL

Guess what time it is???

It's outfit time!!!:cool1: :cool1:

I'm going to be so sad when I have all my outfits picked out. There won't be anything to write about!:rotfl:

So this outfit is for our newly made ADR for Spoodles. Like I mentioned, I made it just last night and I'm really looking forward to it. I have the ADR scheduled for our Typhoon Lagoon day. We get back from the water park around 5:00 and then there's some down time because that evening we are headed to DHS for PM Extra Magic Hours. I figured it might be nice to take a nap and then wander over to the Boardwalk. Plus we can catch the boat to DHS right from BWI! So I think the plans will work nicely. Our Spoodles ADR is for 6:40 so we will have more than enough time to rest and freshen up before the ressie.

The lighting is kind of dark but you get the idea.:goodvibes

Very cute!! I really need to get shopping!! I love how you wear accessories everyday with your outfits! At Disney, I usually just do a t-shirt and shorts, but I think you have inpired me to do better!!!:thumbsup2

:I don't know what the equivalent of a college diploma would be in the US?

What is your first degree in?

College diploma = Associates degree, or at least it sounds that way. My 1st degree is a BA in Advertising. It was fun, but I'll have a bigger impact on people if I'm a nurse. I feel like it's what God called me to do, ya know?

Social work was always interesting to me. I loved my sociology classes.

SO CUTE!!! I love the outfit. Gosh...you make me want to go shopping.

Thanks :goodvibes ... and I'm sorry.:rotfl: I do try to shop at inexpensive stores though. In the latest outfit, the shorts and necklace are from H&M, the top is from Forever 21 and the sandals are from Winners. All discount-ish stores! I'm really not one to spend a lot of money on clothes, but it's amazing what you can find out there!

Thanks, Wendy! I have to say though, I love the dresses you've posted on your PTR. I think you deserve more credit than you're giving yourself.:goodvibes

Ahh, okay, Associates degree. Good to know!:thumbsup2 College diplomas are usually 2 or 3 year programs.

That's so interesting that your first degree is in Advertising... such a different field than nursing! But I know what you mean about feeling a calling from God. I definitely feel that way about social work. I love being able to work one on one with people. Do you have any thoughts on your 3rd degree yet? Wow, you are going to be one educated person!:goodvibes

I am loving the Spoodles outfit, it seems very fitting for Spoodles if that even makes sense. :rotfl:
