They'd Better Get Ready on the East Coast!! May 2009 **TR started on TR boards!!**

Guess what time it is???

It's outfit time!!!:cool1: :cool1:

I'm going to be so sad when I have all my outfits picked out. There won't be anything to write about!:rotfl:

So this outfit is for our newly made ADR for Spoodles. Like I mentioned, I made it just last night and I'm really looking forward to it. I have the ADR scheduled for our Typhoon Lagoon day. We get back from the water park around 5:00 and then there's some down time because that evening we are headed to DHS for PM Extra Magic Hours. I figured it might be nice to take a nap and then wander over to the Boardwalk. Plus we can catch the boat to DHS right from BWI! So I think the plans will work nicely. Our Spoodles ADR is for 6:40 so we will have more than enough time to rest and freshen up before the ressie.

The lighting is kind of dark but you get the idea.:goodvibes

This is my fav outfit so far!! :yay:

I am loving the Spoodles outfit, it seems very fitting for Spoodles if that even makes sense. :rotfl:

Thanks! I agree, I know exactly what you mean. I felt a little crazy thinking that when I was putting it together but at least I'm not alone!:rotfl2:

Oh my gosh, I love that white shirt!

Thank you!! I almost didn't buy it but I'm really glad I did.:goodvibes

This is my fav outfit so far!! :yay:

Thanks, Heather! I'm rather partial to it, myself.;)

OH!!

And I completely forgot to mention... I bought tickets for Disney on Ice!!  The dates are sometime in March, I can't remember exactly right now. My family was making fun of me saying that I will be the only person over the age of 12 not accompanied by a small child but... I am excited! Trying to figure out who to bring with me right now.:)

Your clothes are super cute! Dang girl, get down here to the South and help me shop! I'm so clueless when it comes to shopping. So broke too! I wish I could just turn loose in Anthropologie, then I wouldn't have to worry about finding things that match.

OMG, that outfit is AWESOME. I'm with Heather, I think it's my favorite so far. :lovestruc

And Disney on Ice!!!! :woohoo: That'll be a blast, I'm sure!

Is it bad that when you said you needed someone to go with you, my first thought was, "Hmmm, I wonder what airfare to Canada costs...?" :lmao:

Another cute outfit! And I love that you accessorize. I hardly accessorize on a day to day basis, much less while on vacation. I have a necklace that I wear all the time, and two rings, and a watch. That's about it. :)

Do you have any thoughts on your 3rd degree yet? Wow, you are going to be one educated person!:goodvibes

3rd will be my masters' in nursing, then possibly another batchelor's in nutrition. Just depends on how burnt out I am after nursing school!

Oh my gosh, I love Anthropologie! I drool over their clothes all the time but I can't afford them. I especially love all their skirts and dresses they are so cute. If I ever win the lottery we will go on a shopping spree there.

Wow, you just might be the smartest person on the DIS when you finish with all your schooling!:teacher:

Nope, not bad at all. I wish I lived close to DISers! Hey, if you can get airfare the ticket is yours!:rotfl2:

I'm really not that skilled at accessorizing LOL. I have a silver cross that I wear every day and then some fun necklaces but I rarely wear rings and bracelets because I get so annoyed by them! Haha I joke that I will never be able to wear an engagement ring, I'm going to ask for an engagement necklace.:upsidedow

I'm a little bit stuck on the next outfit... I'm sad, I have almost all the outfits done now! I'll post what I'm thinking and you guys can let me know!

Hey don't let your family make you feel bad about Disney on Ice. My b/f and I have gone the past 3 years in a row when they come to our area.

Yay for Disney on Ice! My sister took me for my birthday last year and I got light up Minnie Mouse ears. I :lovestruc them and I wanna take them to MK this trip! :goodvibes

I really like the Spoodles outfit! I have never eaten at Spoodles, but have heard all the yummy things about it. popcorn:: That shirt is just too cute!

Thank you! I've never been to Spoodles either, but my fingers are crossed! We are planning on sticking to appetizers and drinks... neither of us are big eaters so it looks like we could order 3 appetizers and share.:thumbsup2

Glad you like Disney on Ice too!! You should totally take the ears with you to MK!:woohoo:

Update time!:wizard:

I'm feeling cheerful tonight so I decided on a more fun colour/font.:goodvibes

Outfit wise, I was inspired by Enchanted's trip report because she's been talking about her road trip on the way to Disney. Now, we'll be flying instead of driving, but I decided to figure out a travel outfit! Here's what I've decided on:

IMG_0932.jpg

Look, no accessories! LOL I figured the shirt is busy enough by itself.

To be honest, I am absolutely terrified to fly. I know it's completely irrational and statistically it is more dangerous to drive to WDW than to fly but I get very anxious flying. We have a stopover on this trip so I've have to get through two takeoffs which I am not looking forward to in the least. I'm hoping I can just take some Gravol and sleep as much as possible. I'm going to bring my iPod, make up a Disney playlist and try to go to my "happy place" instead of stressing out about the flight.

I've been reading tons of trip reports lately and am totally starting to wish I'd done one for my December trip. It's a little bit late now, so what I'm going to do is post a favourite Disney memory from 2008 from now on in each PTR update. Luckily we went twice in 2008 so I'll hopefully be able to come up with enough "magical moments"!:cloud9:

My first favourite moment isn't really anything spectacular, but IMO it totally captures the Disney magic.:goodvibes On our December trip we stayed at a deluxe for the first time and we decided on the Poly! I was over the moon about it. My brother really isn't an early riser so we usually didn't get to the parks until around noon. To fill the time, our morning routine was to shower, get dressed, head to Captain Cook's for some Tonga Toast (Mmmmm!) and have a dip in the pool.

I can't even describe how lovely the Poly is in the morning. There was a table and chairs near the pool that we sat at every morning and could look right across and see the castle. It was amazing.:lovestruc I can remember so vividly sitting with my TT in front of me, looking at the castle and sitting with my family, our whole first day at Disney World just waiting ahead of us. It's one of my favourite memories from any trip. Simple, I know, but there is just nothing like that feeling in the world.

The Tonga Toast (my DM and I split it since it's so big!)

The Volcano pool... honestly, I have to say I preferred sitting by the pool with CS Tonga Toast to getting it at Kona!

I'm off to my church's young adult group now... I'm all smiley just thinking of our Tonga Toast mornings.:rotfl:

Hope all of you had a great day!!!:grouphug:

Ooh! 71 days and I will be sitting at the same table eating TT and watching the castle!! I can't wait!! Ahhhh Poly, here we come!!

Oh, I forget to add....I love the outfit! That shirt is so cute!

I usually don't mind flying. It's never bothered me before, but will all of these plane crashes lately, I'm getting a little nervous too!:scared:

Love the outfit, as usual! Just remember that it is cold on planes, though! You can always ask for a blanket. I just always freeze on planes. Well. I freeze everywhere. I was sitting in the conference room during a meeting today shaking cause I was so cold, and one of my clients who was sitting next to me was fanning herself. She was too hot! Ha ha. :lmao:

I love the travel outfit. I agree on the no accessories..that shirt has enough goin' for it-you don't want anything to make it crazy. And here's a hug  for the plane..I hate them too!

Ooooh, that table out by the pool looks wonderful! :cloud9: I love the view of the Castle from the Poly.

It's ridiculous how excited I am for getting a mention in this update. Haha! Glad to hear I inspired your travel outfit! My own travel outfit will be considerably less fashionable, I think...:rolleyes1 More like sweat pants and a t-shirt.

Your travelling outfit, on the other hand, is AWESOME. Here is me: :worship: I want those sandals so badly. And the top is bright and colorful and lovely. The perfect thing to wear to start a vacation off right! :goodvibes

The Poly pictures are so pretty! The one time we actually stayed there we didn't get a chance to visit the Volcano Pool. I was way bummed out. If the Poly is the Top-Secret Resort, I'm totally going to eat Tonga Toast out there in honor of you! :thumbsup2

Great update! :cool1:

You are never to old to go to Disney On Ice! My mom gave the option to do anything special with her on my 16th birthday; know what I picked? Front row tickets to Disney On Ice - Beauty and the Beast. (My fav!!)

So is the Tonga Toast all it's cracked up to be?? I'm debating trying it!

I SO want to try the tonga toast!!! Even though i'm diabetic I'm still gonna try it...I can take metformin ;)

I am so excited for you! You will have to have breakfast one morning that that table. It's directly to the right when you come down the steps from CC to the pool. :goodvibes It's the perfect little corner.

Flying has always made me nervous and the crashes just get me more worked up!

Oh I know, I get cold really easily too! I will definitely bring a sweater just in case for the plane ride. I'm sensitive to the cold but not too bad. A few of my relatives on my dad's side of the family are actually allergic to the cold. They break out into hives!

I love the travel outfit. I agree on the no accessories..that shirt has enough goin' for it-you don't want anything to make it crazy. And here's a hug  for the plane..I hate them too!

Thank you, I'll need that hug for when I'm boarding! I always get this "feeling" that I am just certain the flight is going to crash and I will die... haven't been right about that yet though.:rotfl2:

The castle view from the Poly is gorgeous!

Thanks! And I know, it's so fun to get mentioned in people's PTRs!:lmao: I love it!

Tonga Toast is AMAZING. You HAVE to try it! I totally recommend getting it from Captain Cook's though, it is so much cheaper! Beauty and the Beast is my favourite too! And I'm getting really excited for DoI!

It's worth it. Mmm... I could probably eat an entire piece of it right now.:woohoo: I don't even want to know how bad it is for you... but it's too good to care!:rotfl:
