They changed my AAA ressie for a package?

I had reserved a campsite at Fort Wilderness back in July, for next May. It was for room-only, no package, for $64 per nite. Last week, when I heard that AAA rates were out for 2005, I called back to change the reservation and take advantage of the AAA rates. Yesterday, I received my confirmation in the mail, and was surprised to see that now my reservation is listed as a package, when it was not listed that way before. It is called a Magic Moments package, which I cannot find a description of in either Mousesavers or AllEarsnet. I did save a little money; the rate went down from $64 to $60 per nite. But I wonder if my rate would be lower if I hadn't been shifted to a package?

Anyone know anything about this practice, or about this package?

I have not heard of the package. Maybe it is a new room only package. Did it say that is came with park passes?

If you rate went down I would not worry. What about it being a package concerns you?

I would call and verify that it is still a room only reservation. If it is a package, I am not sure you would be able to change to an AP rate,. I could be wrong, though.

I have a room only reservation in Feb 2005 for a campsite at FW. I called yesterday about AAA rates. The CM told me that AAA rates are only out until Dec 16 2004

Hi,
I just booked a room at the poly for next July with a AAA rate.
The CM started talking pkg.as she was confirming what I booked.
When I stopped her and told her I wanted room only. She said it was a room only and that anything with a discount is considered a pkg. She said it dosent change anything. That I still have until check in to pay bal. and I can cancel any time within (I think) five days before check in without penilty.
Sounds like the same thing for you, but I would call just to make sure.

That CM is wrong. Id call again. I know its even posted on mousesavers. AAA rates are out as of a couple of days ago.

We had a AAA rate for November and it was listed as a package too. I don't think it means anything.
