After Woody and Buzz, we looked at the time - Extra Magic Hours. EMH is a rarity for us, and this year, it seems like it's also a signal for us to start worrying that maybe we're pushing these kids too hard, and we should go back to the resort. Who are we kidding - OF COURSE we're pushing them too hard! We've pushed them hard since they were born. Emily has never taken a mid-day nap in a WDW resort room, and she's been coming since she was 8 months old. We are creating a small army of Disney touring machines, and they'll thank us when they get older.
We go into Walt Disney: One Man's Dream, which we saw for the first time last year and LOVED. We can hear the Walt story over and over again and never get tired of it.
Kristin runs ahead to check when the movie is starting, as the kids and I check out the displays. She comes back and says the movie starts in 5 minutes, so we really don't have a lot of time to look around. This is a shame; I would've like t-AAAAAAGHH!! What is that???
Oh my...that's...that's the separatist's worst nightmare...

Coming soon, to theaters near you. We look around some more, though more quickly than we would've liked. Got a shot of this:
Really fun game. Great story and theming, though the camera controls can get a bit aggravating at times.
We enter the theater, and the kids want to sit "front and center". Kristin says know, but they persist...and we finally agree. We have to be careful not to make this trip too much about us, as we tend to do
Love that movie. Afterwards, we ride the Great Movie Ride. The alien in the ceiling is being shy tonight.
Extra Magic Hours tonight is bizarre, because this park really wasn't that crowded even in the afternoon. It's sort of empty.
Voyage of the Little Mermaid is next, and just in time, because Emily has made up a song that goes, "Little Mermaid...glaaaaaaaahhhhhds in the sea...". She won't stop singing it. Dylan won't stop singing it. I won't stop singing it.
Great show, btw. Dylan, apparently, was expecting to get soaked. I'm not sure what he remembered from last year
With TOT FPs burning up my wallet, we head over that way, but Emily has stated that she is not riding. Kristin lets me ride with Dylan, which was great. On the way, I tried to photograph this:
Love that store window! We ride, but first, I grab a shot of a refurb sign that I could definitely post at work:
I never rode this at night, but it's really fun. Even when you can see outside, you really can't see much of anything. We go up and down a TON of times, and I point out the family from the story during the drop, which Dylan FINALLY sees. I was the only one to see them for at least two years!
And that's how we close out Hollywood Studios this year. We head back to the bus, after a full day where we (voluntarily) skipped a good bit of this park. This is definitely my least favorite of the four, but I love that there are things here I can do every other year without missing them. We had a great day here today.
Back to CSR and right to bed. Epcot tomorrow, and my first trip to Le Chefs de France. See you Sunday!
