Imaginary joBird checking in....:goodvibes

so glad your girls had a good day. I hope that this is a positive experience or both of them!:goodvibes

What did you do to pass the day????

I did some DISing, lots of napping, and then my BFF stopped over after her kids were done at the girls' old school (they're done earlier). We chatted for about the last hour before the new school got out.

It was kind of sad because my BFF's girls missed my girls so much. I think they're going to surprise the girls and walk with me to pick them up on Thursday. :goodvibes

Little imaginary me, has returned as well. :)
I am so glad the girls had a good day.

Thanks for the car advice Trixie,
Jason is calling our friend the mechanic to look at it tomorrow.
So we will see what is going to happen.

Today I managed to actually unpack a couple more boxes that had been in storage, and tomorrow I may just attempt to find all my scrapbook stuff and start to unpack it and set up my scraproom/office. Once Emmy starts school it will be nice to do that again. Plus RF made me more tan a little jealous of her room, and put a little fire under me. :rotfl:

Do you have any desire to do scrapbooking on your computer? I've been doing it for a while and LOVE that I don't have to drag my stuff out and then put it away when I'm done!

Maybe... I don't know a lot about it. Is there certain sites you have used for info on it that I could check out. I have made photo books online, but not scrapbook pages. I do have a lot of supplies to use, but I'm sure Emmy and I could get creative with them.

They both had great days! :cheer2:

DD7 said she can't wait to go back tomorrow. :goodvibes

DD9 stayed in the classroom all day without ANY issues. Once the teacher got her into the room, she was absolutely fine. I'm so relieved!!! She even wants to volunteer to be a kindergarten bus helper. :confused3

They were both kind of ticked off that they don't have more time to eat their lunches. :rotfl2: They're just going to have to eat faster. popcorn:: But if that was the most upsetting part of their days, they did really well.

Thank you so much to all the MAYers for your thoughts, prayers, and support for us today. I'm so blessed to have such great imaginary friends (as my DH calls my computer peeps)! :lmao:

That is wonderful!

I am so glad the day went well!

Hmmm...I wonder if it's a problem with the throttle casing. I had that a couple of times and that's what they said was the issue. Most of the times it's fine, but twice we've had that same type of thing happen. Once before Christmas, when it was all slushy and sloshy outside, and then again during the horendous storm while we were camping.

Good luck. I hate car problems.

Trix - you are a genious!

You guys will never guess what I did tonight?

:confused3

I went to a football game!

:lmao:

I sweat that is all I do!

:lmao:

I use Creative Memories Storybook Creator (and their photo managing software). I love it! It's very easy and for what you get, the price is really good. I make the pages and then have my DH print them out for me at working (a bonus for having a graphic designer husband working at a printing company). I'm trying to fill my CM albums that I already had, and then I'll be ordering the photo books right from CM. I love the idea of that because they'll take up so much less space!

That's the only stuff I've used, so I don't know about anything else.

I went to my friend's house the other night and finally worked on my stuff...I'm over two years behind again. I was within 4 months at one point and then I lost interest.

Hmm...I think that may have had something to do with a trip to Disney or something like that! :lmao:

Glad things went well today Lake & Trix! :goodvibes

Shelly- And the boys?

Things went well. They managed to get on the right bus to come home and everything! They both love their teachers, except DS10 said his music teacher is really mean. :confused3

Your DH can't say I am imaginary - he met me!! :rotfl:

I actually tried to type that in my post, but no matter how I wrote it out, it always sounded like I meant you weren't a good friend...not that you weren't imaginary.

Does that make any sense? It's getting late. :sad2:

Hope things go better for you this morning Lake & Trix!

Well, this morning DD9 was having a harder time at home than at school. She was just really stressed before we left. Once we started walking, she was fine. When we got there, I had her take DD7 to her area (even though DD7 didn't need help, of course). On her way back from doing that, her new friend found her and then DD9 waved me off. I waited for a few minutes (inconspicuously~next to the porta-potty :lmao:) in the parking lot, and watched her go in to the building with no problems.

I love this new friend of hers for making my morning easier! I'm hoping she really likes DD and isn't just with her because she was asked to help her out, you know? I guess we'll know more about that soon. They seem to have a lot in common. I asked DD9 if her friend introduced her to her other friends, or if it seemed like she would rather play with her other friends, but DD9 was pretty confident the she and her friend were going to be best friends. Wouldn't that be wonderful? :cloud9:

As I was walking away, DD7 was right in line for her classroom, just like she was supposed to be. That's my girl. :dance3:

Good Morning.:surfweb:

Glad all the MAYer babies are where they're supposed to be this AM.

I had such good intentions of going for a walk this morning.

Mark intervened. And then the rain came down.

But what's really got me is......

Mark comes waltzing into the room from his morning jog at 6 am and with a grin on his face like the cat that just ate the canary, and says-- all proud- like and in a booming voice, (since he must've thought I couldn't hear so early in the morning)....

"ALLEGIANT AIRLINES JUST ANNOUNCED SERVICE FROM HERE TO ORLANDO. SEE WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR THANKSGIVING WEEK- WE'LL GO THE GAME ON SATURDAY, THEN TO DISNEY OR UNIVERSAL- WHICHEVER ONE-- FOR THREE DAYS, AND THEN ON TO GRANDMA'S HOUSE FOR THANKSGIVING DAY."

:scared1:

What is it with him and last minute requests??????????????:confused:
Doesn't he understand my panic when faced with them?????:rotfl:

After talking him down with my announcement that it would be at the very least least a $3000 trip -IF we could even get a time share this late--- he relented and was crushed and went off to work with his head down, briefcase held just a bit lower.

He really wants to do it- I want to do it. We have the money in savings. But I am trying so hard to be responsible.:lmao:

The flights are right at $200 pp --- he thought we might could get a $29 fare like we did for LA.

Poor baby.

He hasn't given up yet, though, I don't think. He says that those flights always come down as the time gets closer.

So... we may or may not be in Florida in November after all.

Sounds like things went pretty well this morning. I hope DD9 has found her new BFF! :wizard:

BTW - I can totally see you hiding behind the porta-potty!!:lmao:

Hi Shelly!
