Yes, it was a moccasin. We were just so thankful it didn't chase us. Water Moccasins are crazy like that.

Note to self... Arkansas = Snakes.
I am not a fan of those slithering creatures either.

It didn't help that we were walking in a delta where two huge rivers come together. But there were lots of people out walking and it is so beautiful there. I just don't think I will ever go back. Snake = NewCrew stay home!

So...my baby girl turns 5 three weeks today. I figured I'd better start planning her birthday. Family and a few friends still turns into 22 people.
She decided that she wants a cupcake party, which sounds fairly easy.
I'm just trying to decide whether to order a big tearaway cupcake cake. Or to make the cupcakes myself. Then I discovered you can get a big cake mold in the shape of a cupcake, and suddenly its become far more difficult than I imagined.

Oh how fun! There are such cute tear cupcake cakes! Three choices.

HOLY SNAKES!!

I HATE Snakes. Probably one of the things that keeps me from urging DH to go work at his plant in Lakeland Florida!

Did you guys read the thread about the little boy who got bit by a water moccason in May at CBR???

I've been to CBR. I've been to WDW in May. I am freaked out!!

Apparently they were on their way to the bus stop and he dropped his toy and bent down to pick it up and yelled - daddy something bit me! 3 times on his hand. After $139,000 worth of anti-venom he was all fixed up.

DO NOT LET YOUR KIDS TAKE SHORT CUTS THROUGH THE GRASS OR LANDSCAPING AT DISNEY!!!

So...my baby girl turns 5 three weeks today. I figured I'd better start planning her birthday. Family and a few friends still turns into 22 people.
She decided that she wants a cupcake party, which sounds fairly easy.

Hi Mayers - this is our friend Debbie with my wife who I told you about yesterday. I took this picture on August 8th. She was healthy and fine...

Her ability to comprehend and communicate is deteriorating rapidly. She tries to post updates on her FB but has difficulty typing out her thoughts that make sense. She also has memory loss too, at times she can't remember her husband or children. Please keep praying for her and the family. Thanks, Tom

The kids did the Hershey's Factory Works. You go through an assembly line, kind of pretend you are working there and package up some Hershey Kisses.

Sea- oh wow. Debbie is beautiful. She sounds so much like my Dad -- once his cancer reached his brain, it was too late. He had no other symptoms (that he told us about-- but he did have symptoms--) until the tumor was large enough to press on the part of the brain that helps with memory. Has this cancer started somewhere else and metastisized to the brain?
I will be praying for her and her family- and all of her friends as well.


So sad.

The only thing free is the chocolate making tour ride. I'm actually surprised they haven't started charging for it too.

Jo - That is so nice of your husband trying to put together a WDW trip for you. 3 days is definitely not enough, especially when you have family events and a football game going on.

RF - I've got a good Maui story to tell you about. This happen when we were kids. My dad decided to take the family to check out the different beaches on the island. We had pulled off the side of the road to take in the views, then get back on the road to the next beach. Well this one time, my dad is watching a guy in the distance getting into his car and he leaves his duffle bag on top of his car and then speeds off. Well, it falls off and my dad races up and grabs it off the road and we try to catch up to the guy. Too late, he is way far gone. So we open it up the bag and inside was 4 zip lock bags of marijuana and rolling papers, his drivers license, credit cards and his LOS ANGELES UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT TEACHER IDENFICATION CARD!!! OMG we were laughing our heads off. So what did we do....part two coming up!

When going to Maui, do I have to fly to another airport and then fly into Maui... ? Is that the transfer that you were talking about yesterday Jo?

Transportation seems like it's going to be a little more confusing than booking a non-stop flight to Orlando like I am used to...

We flew into Honolulu and then went to Maui. And then to The Big Island. And then back to Honolulu. No problem at all.

RF - So we get back to the hotel and my dad takes out ids and credit cards to the front desk and he has them make copies of everything and then he gets some envelopes and stamps. He then proceeds to write letters to him and the school district telling them about what he found, where, etc. and here is the evidence. We pour some of the marijuana into his envelope and the one to the school district along with copies of his credit cards and his ids and put them into the mail! Then my dad took everything over to hotel next door and said he found this bag on the highway and if they could take it to the police. No problem! I bet that guy was in a load of trouble - LOLOLOL!
