Sea--- hey- is the American Idol finale a hard ticket to come by? Just wonderin if we should look int the audience for ya.

Shelly- I'm so sad for that little girl. Seriously. I'm sad. She doesn't have any girlfriends that she can be girly with? i think I might cry. Poor baby. I'm glad she has your son and some other boys to play with- but dang- it's awful to be the only girl. Maybe next year in school she will find some girlfriends- but the 5th grade is even tougher. I hate bullies. I wanna get physically rotten with them. Does her Mom know that all of that is going on? I'm sure she does. How heartbreaking for a mom to deal with.

KFC---- saw the grilled chicken, intended to order grilled chicken... caved and got Original recipe chicken breast dinner. Grrrrr. I had to get their cole slaw b/c it's my fave anywhere. And I did pull the skin and fried junk off....mostly. But ummmm. It was goood.
A lot of people were ordering grilled. It looked really good.


So....... I'm down to ten days to Cali. Been contemplating the suitcase thing. Went out shopping anyway yesterday and bought two pair of flip flops and a pair of capri's and a top. I'm not overpacking for sure b/c I'm gonna be alone for a good bit of the trip.
I have to go buy some sunscreen at Sam's. Oooooooh, I KNOW!!!!
When Mark is working the stores, I'll get him to pick me up some out there, since he arrives before me. Great Idea, Jo, thanks for the suggestion.


I'm doing laundry. Benn neglecting the house a bit since my Mom arrived. I tend to do that while she's here. She brings out the worst in me.

Well, I officially can't live with my parents anymore.

After a week of blissful alone time, Bob and I have decided that we need to get out of that house ASAP. We can't take the fighting, drinking and disrespect that we get there. I'm done with it. I don't care about 'getting ahead' anymore. I'll just have to work my way up like everyone else in the world.

We are hopefully going to look at a house tonight that we really like. It's in a great location and although it's a 1/2 duplex and that's exactly what I was looking for - we both know that this isn't going to be our 'forever' house.

I need some serious Pixie Dust....

MAYbe this month will be lucky for us too.

I'm not sure. There was one other girl at DS's birthday party from their class and she seemed to talk to this little girl. So maybe not all the girls are mean to her, but maybe she was only talking to her because there were no other girls there that she knew. . . I don't know, but I will be keeping a close eye on things on the field trip.

Yes, I am fine thank you. As for "gearing up" for the "big one" as they keep on saying, of course, you always have to be ready anytime - unlike a tornado, hurricane, typhoon, etc...you can never predict when it can happen. That is what makes earthquakes so frightening.
