Hi Mayers!

We are at Roatan, Honduras today. I am at a internet cafe with VERY slow service.

We are having a wonderful cruise. Lots of eating and resting. Yesterday we were at Grand Cayman and took a submarine ride! Tomorrow is Cozumel and then Princess Cay island.

Hope you are well and will try to check back in at Cozumel.

Hugs!
Sea

Holy Cow!!! Sea is on the cruise that we are thinking of taking next christmas... !!!!! Okay my friend... rate and review..rate and review!!! haha:rotfl:

I am so happy you are all having a great trip.
Can't wait to hear all about it.

Hey guys!!

I think I got a pin code. I called and they said they had something by my name.
So I booked something temporary.

She said she didnt know the percentage off. But I think it is 20%.

So when I priced disney regularly it was like 3100.00, and they gave me a price of $2881.78. This is for Pop Century May 1st-8th for Magic your way plus dining park hopper and waterparks.

What do u guys think??

Sounds like you get to start planning your next trip :)

Oh my gosh, NC! I was just thinking about your Sequoia this very morning! Actually, I was wondering if my memory was correct and that was indeed what you have. You got it for Christmas or something, right? That must have been last year, when I was still lurking. :rolleyes1

Anyway...we're looking into Sequoias right now! Used. No, make that "pre-owned". It sounds so much classier! :rotfl2:

Do you still love yours? Do you get mad at it when you're at the gas station and have to fill it up? Are there any top-secret negatives that I should know about them? We drove one last weekend that had waaaaaay too many miles on it, just to get a feel for them. I used to have a 4Runner and we got rid of it because I felt like I was getting thrown around in it all the time. I certainly didn't have that feeling in the Sequoia, probably because it weighs 58,000 pounds! On the inside, it didn't feel as huge to me as I thought it would, but I just keep thinking, "Do we really need that much vehicle?"

I would love to hear your thoughts about it! Thanks! :worship:

I did get a Sequoia for Christmas and I love it! I drove a Ford Expedition before. The Sequoia rides so much smoother, much more like a car. The Expedition was bumpier and did make you feel like you were thrown around.

The Sequoia gets better gas milage than than my Expedition, but the Sequoia has a smaller tank so I feel like I am running to the gas station more but not spending as much each time. KWIM?

My Sequoia has automatic fold-down fold-flat seats which I LOVE!!!
I would break a sweat in the dead of winter folding my seats down in the Expedition. Now, I sit in my A/C Sequoia and push a button and fold the seats down or back up. I also have the automatic lift gate in the back, love that!!!

I have not had any issues except one little knob that kept popping off for the heat/AC. When they replaced it, I haven't had an issue since.

Love the way it handles. Love how it drives in the rain.

It has lots of safety features. I also have 4 wheel drive on it.

I really didn't want a new car, but now that I have it, I love it. I feel very spoiled with it.

Let me know if you have any questions. I'll be glad to help!!!

Evening Mayers! All is well at my house. I'm avoiding the things I should be doing by being on here. You know, the usual.

NC- sorry to hear about you bumper. Hope it's fixed soon. I drove a Focus years ago and yup it's pretty much a Flintstone car. My DH's head hit the ceiling when he drove.

Sea- Glad to hear you're having so much fun!

Hope everyone had a great day!

P.S. Hi to all my new FB friends...I think I have you all figured out now :lmao:

It's good being your FB friend.....

Good Morning!

I'm a sleepy girl today, more than likely its due to all the stuff I ran around doing yesterday andthen staying up a bit later than usual.
But I'm going to get some breakfast and tea in me, send the kids off to school and get working again. I want to clean more boxes out of the crawl space, and start locating all the christmas ones in there, making sure they are all in one place for when I need them.

Yep...I am now officially in christmas mode I think. The kids watched a Madagascar christmas special on tv last night, and I think that pretty much put me in gear with how much they loved it and how excited they seemed.

So some online christmas shopping to do as well.
Start thinking about what kind of chritmas baking I might start to make and freeze...and yep more lists. Staying organized is the only way to stay in control sometimes, especailly since I am host 2 separate christmases this year.

I also am going to call Men's Health, last week I renewed it for Jason, and also order one for my brother and Women's Health for my SIL, and this week I decided to get one for his brother too. When I went to order it the price is now twice as much, and they are calling it a holiday specail...WHAT!!!!!!!. I am going to try calling customer service and see if I can get the old rate by teling them its the fourth subscription I am doing this year, within a week....come on give me a break. WISH ME LUCK!!!!

Good morning MAYers!

I just added more pics to my POR report. I may start my OKW report today or tomorrow. Still working on loading pics on photobucket so I can eventually start my TR.

Checking in...

I am fighting one heck of a cold. Blech.

Huggie-- such wonderful news on the pin! The values are getting 20% off it seems. That looks like a good deal to me with dining and tix --- would that be for all four of you? I think it's a good one.:thumbsup2

With my code, I've priced it out- and for us to stay at a mod, we'd have to have two rooms. In a deluxe we could squish into one room. The price difference between two rooms at POFQ and one room at the Poly is about $175. For convenience only, think I'd go with the Poly. That way, if anyone wanted to scoot to the MK or EP while the others were at the pool- they could with ease.

I dunno.

We're zeroing in on Spring Break now. We talked it over at lunch and we were planning it sort of- and Mark said "or we could just stay home and save 5 grand" and at that moment, it sounded like the right thing to do.:eek::confused:

Now by the light of day I'm not feeling the stay home love.

:rotfl:

Oh yeah- and I priced out the split stay -- 4 days at POFQ (two rooms) and Poly (3 days, one room). The difference?

A grand total of .....

wait for it....

$75.

:rotfl2:

Crazy.

Jo

Shelly, please..... entertain me today.

I feel like poo.

:rotfl2:

Okay off to check out the new pics on your POR thread.

J~

Sea--- hope you are having a great time! A little cafe in Honduras sounds quaint and lovely.:goodvibes

JO - sorry you feel like poo. I will do my best to keep you entertained today. I don't think Trixie is feeling so well either, at least she wasn't yesterday. What is happening to my poor MAYers??? Get better soon ladies. :flower3:

You totally sound like me on the room dilemma!! :rotfl: Yes, I am already thinking about the next trip. Two rooms at a Value or one room at a Deluxe??? Or a pirate room at CBR? Oh decisions decisions. . . I really need to wait until about January/February and see where we are financially and how DH's job is holding out and then go from there with the planning. We have a long list of expenses coming up -- DS's braces, carpet for the basement, a storage shed for the backyard, the kids college funds need a boost, pay down the mortgage, etc. . . So I guess we'll see what's left after all that. :faint:

I am thinking that as beautiful as the Poly is, I really really want to stay in the Boardwalk area. And as relaxed as I planned this trip to be, it still felt rushed a bit. I am thinking of going for about 7-8 days and only going to the parks for 4 days. :scared1: I know. :rotfl: So to be in that area our choices are BC, YC, BCV, BW, and the Swan & Dolphin. . . I need to do some more research. And we would totally have to have a 40% off PIN to swing a Deluxe. But the thought of 2 rooms at a Value sounds so nice too, 2 TV's, 2 bathrooms, 4 beds. . . But the Values just don't look too relaxing to me. . . :confused3

Oh well, good thing I have lots of time to plan!!

Good morning ladies :flower3:

I woke up early and went to the gym today - and I feel fabulous. :cloud9: I don't know why I don't do this all the time! I fight it so hard - but if I just sucked it up and went I would feel so much better. :cool1:

AND!

If the scale at the gym is right (you know how almost every scale you get on is off a little bit) then I lost another 6 lbs! But, I need to go into WW and officially weigh in. So, wish me luck! :wizard:

Oh, AND!!! -

TOMORROW IS NEW MOON NIGHT!!!!! :cheer2: :dance3: :worship: :cool1: :thumbsup2  :woohoo: :yay: :cloud9:

I am so excited! I can't wait! :goodvibes

Awww, I hope Trixie is feeling better soon.

Come and talk with us Trix!!!
I'm typing between sneezes.:rotfl2:
I really need some OJ... I wonder if soemone would deliver in my neighborhood..........:lmao:

Shelly---- I think that is my problem with the values- and even the mods at times.... I never feel relaxed in them. I'm never really comfortable. I know that sounds really ridiculous and snobbish to say- and as much as I like POFQ- and even CBR--- they are not what I'm used to when I travel to places that aren't WDW. I'm not even sure that a deluxe is going to do it for me. But I'm thinking I'd like to try just so I can be sure.

Being at a monorail resort is huge for me. I love to ride it as much as some of the rides.:lmao:
And you know I want to drive one when we move there, so the more i ride it on vacation, the better I feel about myself.:rotfl2:

The BC IS cheaper by a couple hundred than the Poly. My neighbor LOVES it there. LOVES it. Raves over it. I don't care for the look of them- and Mark doesn't like that area either so that's why we aren't looking into it. He didn't like the BWI too much when he stayed there. But it would be the ideal spot, location wise, for us b/c of Epcot.

Argh- decisions.

Mark wants to go there for our anniversary - just us. I just don't think I can go again without the kids. It would be different if they'd been recently- but it's been a year.

Oh I'm babbling.

again.

Like that never happens.
