Must be something in the male DNA; mine thought WDW would be a one time thing too. Your daughter is going to flip out- she will love it so much. The kids and I are watching a show on FLN on WDW and they keep begging to go back. And what a cute girl- where Mickey lives!!!!

I so want the FLN. I saw the advertisement for the show your kids were watching and wanted to watch it. I asked her who her favorite character is and she says she likes them all the same, but wants to see Mickey's house.

It's a great channel! I agree with her, I love them all but Mickey is my guy!!!! The show was good but silly in a way. They gave 3 different families $1,600 to spend. One lady and her 3 kids got a week at the Pop. One couple got 2 nights at the AKV SV with deluxe dining.

If I had to choose between going longer and staying in a value or going shorter and staying deluxe I would so stay in value. I like the idea of deluxe dining but it seems like it would be so much food it also seems like you would be spending slot of time eating instead of in the parks.

Deluxe dining offers way too much food IMHO! Regular dining about sent me over the edge, between the amount of food and the amount of time eating, it's just not worth it for us to do it an entire trip.


I agree about staying longer in a Value. The Pop Century rocks!!!!

I chose to cancel DxDP it's too much food and working too much around your ADR times!

If I can talk my dh into going in May then we will probably stay at Pop. That is really what I have to talk him into. He says if he is going on vacation then he wants to really relax. I say, for this trip anyways, really how much are we going to be in our room? I actually think it will depend on what they release for deals for May. I don't think I want to wait a whole year to go. I think if we go this May then we can go in Nov/Dec of 2011. My dh wants another child and by then the new one should be old enough.

It's a no-brainer for us too. Our first trip was 10 days at the POR. We could have done 5 at the Poly for the same price- no way!!!

It really is too much food and having to do 2 TS daily or even a sig daily is too confining.

If I can talk my dh into going in May then we will probably stay at Pop. That is really what I have to talk him into. He says if he is going on vacation then he wants to really relax. Pop does look really fun. It is the only value my husband likes. I like that they don't share buses with any other resort.

Alexia just turned 4 the middle of August so they will be pretty far apart. I refuse to get pregnant before we go to Disney though.

That's Chloe's bday! Yuck! Maybe we could give the trip as the entire nights full of Hanukkah gifts. It's not like I won't buy them stuff there. We for sure want to be gone before Holiday season starts as far as DVC points go. They almost double within a week.
