I'm excited to get things for my new kitchen! I haven't settled on colors yet. It's mostly all neutral except for the tile on the backsplash....which I still need to decide on.

I am keeping the countdown for now but with DH's new add-on gig, even Mexico might get changed. His last minute, well to me last minute, schedule changes are really cramping my Type Aness.

For now, the only for sure plans which honestly I am not sure are for sure but made and paid for anyway are Mexico this March and Disneyland/GCV this June. The rest is a total crap shoot. So much for 11 and 7 mos. booking windows with DVC. Oh well, if I have to have vacation issues, these aren't the worst issues to have.

More when than if. I think I might try to squeeze one more WDW trip between the feb 2010 trip and the june 2012 50th birthday peep fest. 2 and half years is too long.

You must have. I gripe about it on FB sometimes. To make a very long story short, one of his oldest buddies has a production company for print ads, think Abercrombie and Land's End (those are some of his contracts) and Michael has joined his team, traveling all over the US to do this piece of cake part time gig. The only issue I have is that the shoot dates are rather vague until a few weeks before he goes. He will be in Miami Dec 12-20 for an Abercrombie shoot.

I feel ya here actually. As of now our plan is to visit Disneyland (3)/WDW(1) a total 4 times within a 15 mos period and I am thinking we will need a little break. If we do December 2011 that will be a 14 mos break. Plus if we do that and go during the holidays, I will be ready. I haven't done Disney during the holidays since 2005.

I don't think there is a clothes discount but I will have to ask. The job is SUPER cool really and Michael is so happy to have reconnected with his buddy- ah, the power of Facebook. He is set to be gone almost all of February too to Sonoma and then Sun Valley I believe. On the 2 week trips, I get to fly up and visit for the weekend. It's really an amazing opportunity for us.
