Looking at boards don't see many folks on the BOG list for late June/early July. I was hoping to meet up with some folks.

We'll see you at SAB! I didn't add my name to BOG but we'll be there June 26-July 2 :) Magic Bands just came in the mail yesterday.. BEST... PACKAGE... EVER!!!!

Are we nuts? We are 25 days out and counting, are staying 11 nights and have booked only 2 dinner reservations, no breakfast or lunch ressies and only two days of fast passes. My family has decided that they don't want to plan anything in advance this trip as there is nothing they feel they have to do. I guess the good thing is we have done all of it many times (except for mine train-hence the fast passes). Guess we will be spending lots of time at SAB : )

I think it is easy to get away with having only two dinner ADR's when you stay at YC/BC. We went for years with only booking an ADR at Cape May and leaving the rest of it open. We have done it all before, too, so now I make our fp+'s for the few rides that we don't want to miss, and that is about it.

We leave Friday for our first stay at BC! I hear the hours may vary seasonally, so I was wondering what time Stormalong Bay is expected to stay open until over the next week or two?

It is with a very heavy heart that I tell my YC/BC friends that my mother passed away quite unexpectedly on May 29th.

It has been an extremely hard week for us.

I needed this upcoming vacation in July, but now it seems even more so. I made the comment that I was so looking forward to sharing the pictures of my four year old niece with the princesses with my mother.........to which my older niece replied, "now she can go along with us."

My mother was 86 years old and very active up until the very end.

I'll probably be on the boards a lot more now. Our trip is getting closer and it will be a good distraction. Thanks for listening. I feel like I know many of you personally. (Some I really do!)

YCFAN,
I understand your loss:sad1: My condolences to you and your family
I lost my mother-in-law in Dec and then my Dad in April.
You and your family are in our prayers. :grouphug:

Disboards and especially this thread have helped to occupy and fill that void that we have as we move forward to create new memories as we remember our loved ones not with us.

Thank you disboards and all my cyber friends :wave2:

Look for the big plastic wine glasses. They always freak the guards out until they find out they are plastic

I am still on the fence about upgrading to deluxe dinning with club level
It will cost about $900 ish (guessing ) My worry is I don't want to have to worry about where to use our credits for this or that of if we don't have enough to go here or there. BUT staying at BC is my dream resort and I taking 1.5 years to pay for this thing, (going September 2015) So how do you balance park time, dinning, pool time ect. This is going to be our last family WDW for the better part of 10 or more years. My kids are Will be 7 & 9
We do plan on taking a day to go to see the ocean. I thought that would be a good day for an early ADR at Cape May but maybe its better to eat CL and get on the road. UGH, whey is Disney planning so stressful

You can pretty much plan on 10am-10pm but could likely be 9am-11pm except in the event of thunderstorms in the area, where they will close the pool for a period of time. It will reopen after the storms pass

Does doing the on line check in negate being met by a CM and escorted up to CL? Do you have to go instead to lobby desk and pick up your folder?

The last I knew, you have to be 12 years old without adult supervision.

Thank you! The 15-year-old will be thrilled. The 10-year-old, not so much. Good thing I planned on being down there anytime they wanted to go anyway. Only 4 more days!

Nope. You'll be met outside and escorted upstairs.

I agree with Teena. I've done it both ways for CL (at both YC and BC), and I preferred the times I did online.

Could be luck, but my room has been ready in the morning more often with online check in than without.

Also, one trip ,CM who greeted us as we were coming in was aware that there were already a bunch of people upstairs and the CL CMs were occupied. She gave us the option of online check in line at the lobby desk or waiting to go up, which was a nice choice to have.

You know YCFan,
If you wanted some extra BC/YC family time in the near future, you could make a special guest appearance at the Dis Meet on 8/18...

We are also going Sept 2015. We have decided NOT to do Club Level and to do Deluxe Dining instead. My kids love eating at restaurants so we will be doing 3 TS restaurants a day. They will also easily eat their snack credits. (They are tiny, but eat a ton.)

I agree that balancing time is tough. I don't see how we are going to fit in pool time! But it will happen some how.

LOL we'd get along great! I'll pack mine too, I'm clumsy so I always use the plastic ones on our patio ;) I'm so classy!
