If you wanted some extra BC/YC family time in the near future, you could make a special guest appearance at the Dis Meet on 8/18...

GASP! How did I miss this idea!

Yes! You really SHOULD come and hang out with us! Even if it's for a few days like Dee is doing, it will be good to recharge your batteries during these trying times. We would LOVE to see you if you can swing it!

Many of us are planing MAGICAL VACATIONS so a quickie trip might be in your budget.

Well think about it... Nannette already has me on block out so I can't bug her about coming down (since she is so busy during that week... ). JanetMom already has a restraining order out against me so I can't horn in on any more of her travel plans.... Sue is my go to girl! The kind of friend you wind up in jail with, wondering how you got there, only she won't be around until the end of that week...

For this August trip I plan on stalking people, I mean hanging out at the pool during the morning/afternoon hours and hitting the parks at night. I also plan on making an appearance or two in the lobby wearing my new "Teena the Greeter outfit" that JanetMom has promised to sew for me if I leave her and Steve alone. (PS Janet, Buzzy says he would like an outfit too if you do small sizes... i.e. REALLY small)

Oops! Look at the time! I have to get off the computer and go now. It's going to take me forever to convert Buzzy's measurements from sixteenth's of an inch to millimeters. Darn those Canadians and their insistence on something as sensible as the metric system!

JanetMom! You'd better use centimeters when it comes to my waist line area. That Deluxe Dumpster Dining Plan is not doing any favors to my figure. Mrs. Buzzy says it's all that snacking I'm doing in Club Level that's wreaking havoc with my tiny little metabolism. All I know is that I've never met chocolate covered Oreo that I could ever pass up.

It has been an extremely hard week for us....)

We just returned from a 7 night stay at BC. We really liked it - we were even lucky enough to be upgraded to club level, with an awesome full balcony and pool view (rm 5715)....

I just returned a couple of weeks ago from a stay at the Beach Club only a couple more doors down the hallway from where your room was located (5721). Although a bit of a walk, rooms were nice and quiet. Only foot traffic was that of the folks in the 6-8 rooms past us. And as you said the view of the pool is utterly fab!!

We arrive August 14th for a BCV studio. I have Beaches and Cream reservations for an arrival lunch.
We have never stayed at BC before- what are some of your favorite things to do upon arrival?

So who woulda thunk this ... Beaches and Cream ADRs have been harder to get than BOG dinner. I have tried almost daily to get a reservation during our 8 day stay for months. Nothing. Nada. Ive been able to get BOG reservations at 6 weeks and 4 weeks out (which I released b/c we got FP for lunch).

I REALLY wanted lunch at B&C next monday, but sadly it seems like it won't happen and I'm so bummed. We are a fam of 5 and I think that is what is making it so difficult. I even looked for tables of 3 and 3, 4 and 2, you name it.

Everyone please send positive pixie dust vibes that a cancellation comes up so we can finally try it out!

You nailed ours. We hit B&C (11am pre ADR days) then strolled around both resorts, sit by SAB, and the head to EPCOT to get the Disney juices going.

2) I have been working for the past couple of weeks helping to put together all the details for our school's upcoming 8th grade class trip to Disney. Had to create 9 different group accounts, link all the tickets and make FP+ reservations for more than 120 people. I will not be going on the trip this year, but will be accompanying Ben when he goes next June.

I need a vacation!!!

It has been an extremely hard week for us.

I needed this upcoming vacation in July, but now it seems even more so. I made the comment that I was so looking forward to sharing the pictures of my four year old niece with the princesses with my mother.........to which my older niece replied, "now she can go along with us."

My mother was 86 years old and very active up until the very end.

I'll probably be on the boards a lot more now. Our trip is getting closer and it will be a good distraction. Thanks for listening. I feel like I know many of you personally. (Some I really do!)

Just back from our first stay at the BC, it's our new favorite resort! We loved it, super friendly cast members always willing to help! Clean and no problems we booked a standard room and it was perfect. Close to everything with a full balcony, just loved it. Location is PERFECT so close to Epcot and the walk to Hollywood Studios is lovely! We had a graduation party with family who also booked there, we used the solarium and it was beautiful. They delivered her cake complete with real plates and utensils and real napkins (not paper). We did her Senior pictures there as well and Daniel was terrific!!! A wonderful trip, I don't think I want to wait a year between visits!

Please don't blame us...... it's the microchip they implanted in you the first night you stayed on property.

We're kinda in the same boat...... since we have APs and moved about an hour's drive from WDW we've done several day trips, but we decided we need to stay at our favorite resort for a couple nights, and soon.

So...... we're headed to the YC next Friday for two nights. Got an AP rate on a GV CL room, so YC here we come!!!

DH is "Whatever. I hate crowds but am going because you planned it all. Just tell me where to go and what time." (I exaggerate. He's not that bad but he's been sick making him grumpy)

DD17 is "I will get excited when we get there. Right now I have to get through finals, worry about the SAT & AP scores, and be sad about leaving my boyfriend for a week."

DS11 is excited but he still thinks this is just like Disneyland.

So on Saturday me (and 3 others who might or might not be excited) will be joyfully checking into the BC.
