It is with a very heavy heart that I tell my YC/BC friends that my mother passed away quite unexpectedly on May 29th.

It has been an extremely hard week for us.

I needed this upcoming vacation in July, but now it seems even more so. I made the comment that I was so looking forward to sharing the pictures of my four year old niece with the princesses with my mother.........to which my older niece replied, "now she can go along with us."

My mother was 86 years old and very active up until the very end.

I'll probably be on the boards a lot more now. Our trip is getting closer and it will be a good distraction. Thanks for listening. I feel like I know many of you personally. (Some I really do!)

My deepest condolences on the loss of your mother.

Well, even though we had cancelled our trip originally (after moving to the Poly) due to adding on a master suite to our house, we are back on for August 30-September 3 at the Yacht Club. DH isn't too happy about it but since the kids and I has such a miserable trip with my mom in May (she hated everything and wasn't afraid to share her feelings, ugh) he agreed to let me have a do-over trip since I spent most of the last one either angry or crying. This one HAS to be better. LOL!

I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. It is extremely hard to lose your mom.....my mom died four years ago after a quick illness and I think of her every day. Thinking of her brings smiles, not tears, now. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts.

I'm glad you have a do-over trip! Traveling with extended family can be hard, especially if you don't have enough of your own time.

Hello! We are staying at BC the week of September 14. We currently have a garden view room. DH wanted to know what it would cost to upgrade to a Lagoon View room but when I called they are all sold out! Looks like all rooms are sold out except some Standard Views. How crowded is SAB when the hotel is a nearly sold out? And the buses...Thanks!

We aren't going to need transportation, but, like said above, there are no buses to the front of Epcot from the Epcot Resorts.

Us too, we were hoping to try both of them. After being at the water park all day, walking through Epcot to get back to YC is the last thing my kids (or me) would want to do!
I gather they will have direct busses to TL from the Epcot area hotels.

Teena-So glad to hear surgery went well. Been busy with DD prom and end of year activities so haven't spent much time on boards lately. I didn't even realize you were ill! Isn't your cruise coming up soon? Just what you need-some real R & R. I know we talked about possibly getting together after one of your Monday shifts for some drinks. We arrive 6/28 and don't leave until 7/10 so that gives us a couple of options if you are still game. Would love to meet the hubby!

Looking at boards don't see many folks on the BOG list for late June/early July. I was hoping to meet up with some folks.

Are we nuts? We are 25 days out and counting, are staying 11 nights and have booked only 2 dinner reservations, no breakfast or lunch ressies and only two days of fast passes. My family has decided that they don't want to plan anything in advance this trip as there is nothing they feel they have to do. I guess the good thing is we have done all of it many times (except for mine train-hence the fast passes). Guess we will be spending lots of time at SAB : )
