Well we got our blue cards and only 3 weeks instead of 90 days that they said it would take. Dw was so excited we went to the Disney store and used it right away feels like its official now.

We haven't gotten our cards yet and it's been 6 weeks since closing. Do these things happen in any order

Im not sure about order but they said 90 days most likely I guess I was lucky. THey should come soon if it has been 6 weeks.

Hey tamu91,
I know we closed about the same time as you and I wanted to let you know about a phone call I got today from Larry at DVC. He left a message on my answer machine and he was just wondering if we got our membership cards and handbook. Well, we have received the handbooks (the envelope was postmarked July 29, the same day we were in the system), but we are still waiting for the cards. I called Larry back today and told him we were still waiting for our cards. He wanted to know when we got the handbooks and when I told him, he was surprised we had gotten them so quickly! Anyway, he told me that some people just received their cards yesterday. He told us to let him know in 2 weeks if they haven't arrived yet and he would get new ones made for us. Being that Aug. 29 was 4 weeks since being in the system, I guess they will be coming shortly! Let me know if/when you receive them!

We closed at the end of June and received our cards about 3 weeks later. I was a bit surprised as several people have complained here about the cards taking so long to arrive. I guess we were just lucky.

I did call MS right after we closed to inquire about our cards, maybe this triggers a little faster response. We also immediately made a reservation for Sept. so this too might also trigger a faster processing of cards.

After posting yesterday I just want to say that we did receive our cards today!!

So tamu91, what about you?? Any luck today??

I dont remember exactly how long it took for our cards but it was around a month. We also got a call from DVC asking if we got our cards and we said yes. He also mentioned that we should be getting a new handbook soon.

We closed Aug 18th and just received our cards today.

My closing was August 11. Still waiting for the card.

Wouldn't you know it, the day after I post this my blue card arrived in the mail. It took about 21 days not the 90 days that I was told.
