The Young Avengers and The Phantom of the Opera (YAMRP Part 2)

Hope: "I honestly have no idea. But she got a lucky score, casting lovers as lovers."

Jay: "Yeah she did! Maybe she could tell we had chemistry. I know a big part of casting a show is how well couples look together. Not that we got the parts solely of that, but it probably helped.

Jay: "Oh thanks! You'll do great too. Giry is a good part."

Nancy: she smiled. She wasn't sure how much she trusted everyone at the mansion, SHIELD seemed too shady. Nancy decided that she needed to relax a bit- she liked most of the other kids.

Eli: his chest was bothering him a bit.

Ooc: Our teacher is very picky about that. She'll make you stand in couples. Then call certain groups up or tell you to stand by a person to see how it looks.

Ms. Pat: "Okay everyone lets start the reading!"

Jay: He read his lines at his turn. This was fun.

Eli: he liked acting, but he still would rather be working on his suit or something like that.

Nancy: she watched everyone say their lines, and waited until her turn to begin speaking.

OOC: Oh wow, really?

Hope: She participated in the reading.

Ooc: Yup. Well, for most, especially the ones where we're all in the same room. The musicals with sixity kids you can't, but she's still pairs you up with how you look. Like in Grease my partner was the guy every one ships me with... It was kinda weird. Oh and In Doctor Horrible auditions they had me read as the romantic interest with the guy I used to like.

Ms. Pat: "Where's Evelyn our Meg?"

Jay: He got a little sad. "She's sick."

Ms. Pat: "Oh poor thing. Nancy? Would you please read her lines today?"

Nancy: "Ok." she read the lines. She felt worried about Mike and Evelyn- the news and gunfire were very alarming.

Eli: the owners of the theater were very silly...

Phil: he walked home, and checked in on June. "How are you feeling?"

Right now I'm doing a show and I despise my character but I'm really good at playing her. Thoughts/advice?

OOC: If you don't like the character don't do it, unless you really want to be in that show.

Ooc: Well first congratulations on the part. For me to do well, some times I have to trick my mind and begin to enjoy it. Like at my old job selling photo packages it was way overpriced, but I convinced by self it wasn't and that the 65 one was actually a good value for everything you got. Last year I played a lady named Aunt Ev. She was obnoxious and would be a crazy cat lady, and none of the characters liked her back. I just tried to have fun with her, and I enjoyed being cooky with her. Don't quit, that'd let down your cast. Espically if your good with it.

OOC: I love the show itself, it's hilarious and it's a class show so it's a grade, and I'm too far in to back out now. I was more looking for ways to not hate myself the entire time.

OOC: Like I just mentioned, I'm not going to quit. I just haven't been able to find something I like about her yet. She's flighty, stupid (that's almost the worst part because my intelligence is what I prize most about myself - although it's not like I have much else going for me), screams too much (part of why I'm good at it, I can scream, even scared my fellow cast multiple times), scared of everything, useless, no good lines (screams more than she speaks), and is generally the character that no one respects, even I don't respect her.

Ooc: That's rough. Maybe just dig a little deeper, maybe she does having a meaning. And I bet you have a lot going for each other. I feel like if we knew eachother we'd be friends :)

Jay: Rehearsal ended. "That was fun. Hey Hope? Wanna go on an adventure? I felt a little cooped up yesterday. Let's do something. We don't go on enough dates."

Ooc: I agree

Jay: "Hmm. Hey, there's that gazebo and grassy area on Main Street that local musicians always play at. Wanna see a performance and grab a bite to eat?"

Hope: "Sounds great!"

OOC: I'm going to pretend the downtown is a little bigger and nicer than I imagined. It's going be be Americana. With brick, picket fences, and flags. Oooh, maybe we should make it like a mini wdw main street usa?

Jay: "Awesome! It's only like a ten minute walk. Hey Phil? Can you please pick us up later tonight? Pleaseee?"
