Speaking of B&B......Honny, I know you probably already posted this on the B&B thread, but I don't keep up with that one. I just found the article when I checked soapcentral for new Y&R spoilers. There is some Y&R info at the end:

There's another crossover looming for The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless. B&B's Emmy-winning head writer and executive producer Bradley Bell has hired Y&R's Tonya Lee Williams (Olivia Barber Winters) for a two-day stint on the show. Williams will play her familiar Y&R role and will be revealed to be a cousin of B&B's Justin Barber, played by Aaron D. Spears.


"Apparently Brad Bell had this idea back when he named Aaron's character -- he just didn't let any of us know about it. We're just actors. Who knows what goes on behind the veil of Oz?" Williams mused in an interviewed with TVGuide's Michael Logan.


The magazine also teases that Williams' appearance will tie in to a "major event" in Justin's life that will be a first for B&B.


In the past, several Genoa City residents have found their way to Los Angeles -- and vice versa.


Williams made her Y&R debut in May 1990 and remained with the show through September 2005. Since then, the actress has appeared sporadically on a recurring basis.


Williams will appear on The Bold and the Beautiful on February 1 and 2. There is also word that Williams will be returning to The Young and the Restless later this year for an extended run.

The Young and the Restless has hired four-time Emmy winner Susan Dansby for its writing team.


Amid vocal cries that its behind-the-scenes staff lacks diversity, The Young and the Restless has reached a deal to bring Emmy-winning writer/director Susan Dansby into the fold as a scriptwriter. Dansby is African American.


"Good news on the job front!" Dansby rejoiced via Twitter. "Got 6-week script writing trial with Y&R. Will start in February!"


Former Y&R diva Victoria Rowell (ex-Drucilla Winters) has been vocal in her desire to see The Young and the Restless add men and women of color as writers, directors, producers, makeup artists, hairstylists -- all areas where the actress said the show failed to feature diversity.


"Congrats Susan on being first Black staff writer on Young & Restless in 37yrs!" Rowell posted on her Twitter account. "Hiring a Black writer is historic change for the #1 soap opera in America."


Earlier this month, after conferencing with Rowell, the National Urban League sent letters to CBS and Sony Pictures Television, Y&R's production company, to urge the top-rated soap to make sure that its roster is more representative of its viewing audience.


"With regard to The Young and the Restless, we are proud of the fact that five African American actors play important roles on the program, and we are especially grateful for the diverse audience it has every day," Jim Kennedy, executive vice president for Global Communications at Sony Pictures Entertainment, said in a statement.


CBS, meanwhile, feels that Rowell's comments have been off the mark.


"We have great respect for Victoria Rowell, but strongly disagree with her statements about diversity," the network said in a statement. "CBS is very committed to diversity and inclusiveness throughout the company -- including Daytime, where we feature diverse talent in all programming."


Prior to joining The Young and the Restless, Dansby, a four-time Daytime Emmy winner, was a member of the writing staff of As the World Turns from 2000 through the show's cancellation. Dansby also has experience on the set, having worked as a director on As the World Turns, Generations, Guiding Light, and Port Charles, and as an associate producer on General Hospital.


Dansby is also the author of How Did You Get That Job?, a self-help book that chronicles how she beat long odds to land a career in the world of soap operas.

On the cover of SID under "News Shocker", it says MEGGIE may return to get revenge.
I'm glad to hear Meggie is returning, if it means she'll get revenge on Victor. Her return may also play a role in the Nikki/Deacon pairing. Will she expose Deacon's role in Nikki falling off the wagon? Or will she blackmail him into doing her dirty work again?
I'm just wondering, how the heck did she get out of prison so fast after being convicted of murder?

Then below that, there is a picture of Skye! (IMOW) Did Skye Really Die in the Volcano?
My theory is that Sharon will be convicted of Skye's murder, but Skye will reappear to prove otherwise. Question is....will she return to seek revenge on Adam or Victor (afterall, Victor destroyed her Hedgefund and left her with nothing)?

Magazine covers are VERY misleading.

If you actually read the article inside, it does not say that Meggie or Skye are returning. MAB is a fan of both actresses so she isn't ruling out the possibility it could happen but it isn't happening now. It actually sounded more likely that Skye could return between the two of them.

All the article did was leave the door open but it is not saying they are returning.

Update on Daniel Goddard’s rumoured firing: It appears it’s a ruse and the actor is indeed coming back to the show. Well, this week anyway. This story keeps going back and forth each week.

The new CBS-SID has an interview with Tristan Rogers and when asked on whether Colin really digs Jill he responds "I say yes. Regardless of what he is--and I'm not sure at this point what he is- I think he genuinely cares for her.

The article also reports TR was initially slated for 10 episodes but they have gone over that amount with no end in sight.

That is the only "murder" I know of. My little one wouldn't go to sleep last night, so I lay here next to her and surfed the soapcentral site! So most of the the above posts were straight cut and paste-not my own words! It made me sick to think of Meggie coming back-was relieved to read more about that further down. Murphy's son was on life support, and Meggie couldn't wait to pull the plug and get the life insurance money. He hated her! That is what led him to tell Katherine that he wouldn't want the plug pulled if he was in that situation, and that he wouldn't do that to her.

* Diane and Victor are talking about Adam and Sharon, Victor complains about Sharon's behavior and how she is with a man who has used and abused her. Victor also reveals he has plans for Adam
* Sharon tells Adam that she is through with how people perceive her to be, that Adam is the only one who has encouraged her and believed in her. Meanwhile, Jack and Nick are talking about Sharon and Diane and not approving of their latest living arrangements and how it affects their kids
* Abby is spending the night with Daniel, he keeps looking at the picture that Daisy drew of their daughter hoping it will trigger his memory but Daniel is unable to remember anything. Abby says he may never remember everything, he throws the picture away.

Next - Jana overhears Kevin telling Chloe he has a plan; Sophia tells Blake he is a fake and a bully; Nina asks Ronan if he is just giving up, he tells Nina to find a way to let him go

nope - squishy was too small and blurry to know if she's a princess
