Good news for fans of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS' Adam

His portrayer, Michael Muhney, has signed a new multi-year deal with the soap, according to sources

According to the actress's Twitter postings, Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki, Y&R) just learned that Friday, June 3 was her last air show. Her Twitter account posted the following around June 7.

"Let me reiterate: I have NEVER asked for a leave of absence from the show. MTS" "Had not been told by ANYONE that that was my last scene,day,show,episode,whatever u want to call it.Time passed.… I returned to work on January 7th (approx) Continued working regularly til 4/28, when I shot what turned out to be my last scene. Last Fri. [June 3] was my last air show. that was shot 5-6 weeks earlier.Of course, no one bothered to tell me that."

i might be the only one but i couldn't care less if Nikki is on the show or not.

i'm tired of her whinny character pining after an abusive man (victor) who does nothing but treat her like crap and is only nice to her when he wants to get laid. her own kids don't see whats going on how blind are they and blaming everyone and anyone except herself for her own mistakes.

i've never been a fan of self absorbed victor but they have to have a vilen on these shows - i just wish they didn't make him such an abuser not only to his wives but his children too.

key is going to distroy tuckers company because when all is said and done she hates him for doing what he did to her and if and when he survives and comes back he's company will be gone and she won't careless

I have to say I rather enjoyed drunk Nikki at the AA meetings. Thats the most I enjoyed her scenes in a while.

Whether I like Nikki or not on the show, to not let her know many weeks earlier that those were her last scenes...... That's just low.
She is a veteran of that show and deserves to be treated in a much more respectable manner.

Next week Colin is about to take off with the twins when Neil and Cane arrive. It is then that both Cane's father and father in law find out he is not Caleb. Lily and Daniel arrive and Lily is shocked to find out that Cane is alive. She refuses to listen to him and goes home with her father. Later Lily calls Cane to set up a meeting. She really lashes out at him and refuses to accept his explanations or apologies. Genvieve showing up makes things even worse and Lily leaves.

Genevieve pushes Colin off a balcony. He is able to cling to a ledge. Jill arrives and tries to help Colin. Genevieve shocks Jill by telling her she is Colin's wife. The shock causes Jill to let go of Colin and falls. He is taken to a hospital and arrested there for kidnapping. Genevieve shows up and lashes out at him. When Jill comes to the hospital she and Genevieve get into it. Genevieve again tells Jill that she and Colin are still married.

In an interview with Soap Opera Weekly Genie Francis said now that the Cane story line has wrapped up she is not working much and that "worries me." The interviewer assures her that Y&R would not have gone to all this trouble to bring her and publicize her coming to the show if they did not have "big plans" for her.

Neil tries to get hold of Colin but he won't answer, fortunately Jill does and tells Neil where she is. Jill confronts Colin and is shocked to see Cane, she faints but later awakens and finally sees Colin's true colors. Jill refuses to let him leave with her grandchildren
Malcolm and Sophia tell Lily and Daniel the truth about Cane, Caleb and Colin. Lily is determined to go save her kids, Daniel follows while Malcolm gets concerned for Sophia when she suddenly has severe cramps. Malcolm calls for an ambulance
Phyllis has court appointed visitation rights to Lucy, Victoria doesn't leave until the social worker gets there to keep an eye on Phyllis. Victor confronts Phyllis shocked that she is defending Daisy despite everything she's done
Neil and Jill learn the truth about Cane really being alive and his brother being the one to be murdered. Cane puts up a fight to save his children while Colin comes face to face with Genevieve. Genevieve pushes Colin, he is left hanging onto the rails

Next - Victor wants Lauren's help with Jabot if the deal goes through; Jack tells Katherine to make him CEO of Jabot or they walk; Cane was fighting with a man, he smoked and left his lit cigarette on the ground. When Cane struggled with the man, the gun went off puncturing the gas line. The gas leaks and reaches the lit cigarette, there is a fire. Cane is shown waking up while Lily, Daniel, Neil look on from a distance in shock

I agree with Katherine ruining Tuckers company...she is doing everything he would disagree with. I hope he wakes up and puts Ashley in charge..I don't think this will help their relationship if anything Tucker will want to go after her more. Why he left her in charge is beyond me...they never ever agree on anything when it comes to business.

As for Nikki leaving...don't see it for long.

•Cane saves the twins before its too late. Lily is in denial that Cane could do something so evil but Neil tells her that this is Cane. Lily can't look at Cane while Neil and Daniel get protective of her, angry that Cane could gaslight Lily•Jill is about to save Colin when Genevive reveals Colin is her husband. Colin falls but is saved by the bushes, he's taken to the hospital. Jill is in denial about what is happening, thinks Genevive is crazy. Genevive tells her to ask Cane
•Jack tells Katherine that he already went to the Jabot staff about the new product line and his plans to sell them on HSN. Jack tells Katherine to make him CEO or the staff of Jabot will walk!•Victor asks Lauren to team up Fenmore's with Jabot if the deal goes through, he also wants Lauren on the Newman board of directors. Lauren needs to talk to Michael and Jill before giving Victor her answer.

Next - Lily meets Cane, she wants answers. Genevive shows up and asks if Cane won't introduce her daughter in law; Colin wants to give Jill his side of the story; Olivia has Sophia's test results
