Well today is the first day without entertainment via mom!!!!! Greg was a sweetie and packed a very nice cooler with water, soda, freezepops and a PBJ...so I think I am good for the day!!

Sounds like everyone had a great weekend and found something to do despite the weather! The pictures of the TC meet were hilarious.....if my eyes saw correctly, I saw pictures of both Sherry and Amanda!! Those s'more pictures were a hoot! Looks like you had a great time!!! Liz I have been wanting to pack for days now but we don't fly out until Saturday. Will be spending Friday in Phoenix with SIL. So I won't pack until Thursday. I do have some things lined up on my dresser so I do not forget them though

My surgeon did an excellent job of piecing me back together. I have scars from the surgery, but they look more like scratches than scars.

Good thing that EpcotKilterFan took a photo of my lime green cast. It went into the garbage can on Monday afternoon. I figured that it was time to move forward with my recovery and I've already got enough useless junk around the house (that I refuse to part with).

Pam is probably still scrapping....almost graduation time.

Ding...ding...ding... we have a winner!! I have over 300 pages in 3 weeks - too pooped to even count them.... I am almost done, though!!

It was deadline week last week, too - but I did get all my work done and even got in lots of scrapping!

DD graduates on Saturday. We have her Honors Dinner tomorrow night where she will get her special Academic Honor sash. Friday is the Bacca. ceremony - I don't know how to spell that and I'm too lazy to look it up! Then the neighbor's son and DD's good friend is having his graduation party, which we are all invited to. Saturday is of course graduation, then DS has an OA Scout EC meeting and then he has to go to an Eagle Scout ceremony practice. On Sunday DD is recognized at Church as a HS Senior and then we have the Eagle Scout Ceremony to attend.

DD's last and 14th consecutive year dance recital is the week of June 14th - yes - week.....

DD's party is June 27th. I pretty much have all the food ordered - and have all the decorations, tableware, etc. bought. Mom and I did a major Costco run today.

I have been thinking of you all.... and missing you....

Liz - I feel like a heel - I have a box for you that has been riding around in the trunk of my car for over a week - I forgot to mail it.... I'll get it out tomorrow, I swear.

Last Tuesday I had to take DS to the Dr. - he got poison ivy at Scout Camp over the previous weekend - didn't know it - and by the time he got home from school last Monday - he was pretty much covered in it, including his eyes!! They had to give him a shot and put him on Prednisone for 10 days. The good news is that since he was going to the Dr. on Tuesday, he went hunting in the morning and shot a 19 lb. turkey with a 10 3/8" beard. He was very happy and proud - and yes, we had turkey over the weekend.

After his Dr. visit, I took him (droopy left eye and all) to the DOT and he passed his permit test! I let him drive on the way home - and he did very well. He's also been driving since. He is not consumed with driving like his sister was.....

Then, last Tuesday morning, the school nurse called and said DD has passed out and was throwing up and that she was unable to drive home. I flew into school - she was pretty shaky and pale - seems cramps do not mix with a very gory AP Biology filmstrip about a girl breaking her arm with the bone sticking through. DD got hot watching the movie, took off her sweatshirt and the next thing she knew, she came to slumped over her chair, with her head on the floor!! She sat up - said she was fine and finished the class (a 2 period one.) She made it to the next class, threw up and her friend was helping her to the nurse's office when she threw up again. She was so embarrassed and upset that she did that.

She came home and slept and was fine about 4-5 hours later. Poor kid.

Has Tara checked in? I hope she's ok.

So get this, on Friday I took my car to have new breaks put on and it going to cost us $600. Now the water in our shower is not draining out. I am going to try the liquid stuff first, but if that doesn't work I guess we will be calling a plumber. BOO! I would much rather be using this money for our next trip. Isn't it funny how everything seems to go wrong all at once. Oh well, that's life I guess...

Colleen... try finding Crystal Drano... not liquid... either that or lye (sodium hydroxide) and if you like aluminum shavings (same thing as Crystal Drano). That should get rid of any clog
