Hi again everyone

I just got back from seeing the Mickey statues in Boston. We only found 13 of the 15 Mickey statues. The kids were getting grumpy so we didn't wander too far looking for the last two (kids today--can't walk a mile an a half without getting tired and grumpy).

One thing I'll say about the Mickey statues is they just have them out in the open, and even after only being here for about a week and a half, you can see the wear and tear on them. Some of them are badly scuffed. Paint is chipping off of them. Kids are climbing up on the arms. I hate to think how they are going to look at the end of the two months here.

We also saw some excitement while we were in Boston. A couple was sitting on a stoop, and the woman had her purse on the stoop kind of between and behind her (certainly not keeping a good watch on it). Some woman took the purse and started running with it. The couple chased after her, and they did catch her. The cops came and they filled out a report.

Oh no Jerrysboy, I'm so sorry to hear that! A MONTH in the hospital I hope you are behaving and following the drs. orders so that all mends well.

Ouch indeed. No more broken bones please. I just threw my cast in the trash today. Hospitalized for a month? You must have really broken yourself good. I hope your recovery is going well and that physical therapy will also go well for you.

Well, the reason I was hospitilized for a month was because of underlying conditions. What a long road it has been. I fell out my front door, and when I landed I twisted my upper body and sprial fractured the Femur. I thought I just had a bad charlie horse. Since my wife is a RN she said "Oh My God, you broke your leg. I freaked out. I just kept saying I have to walk again, I have to walk again. My goal is to walk by July 4th.

Now, as for me being a good patient. My doctor Doogie Houser. I swear I am old enough to be his daddy. He doesn't say to much to me. We sorta had a little tiff about me going to the main hospital to Wendy's to eat lunch one day. He said no, I said yes. I went, he got ticked.

Rose Mary, What a cute name for a child. I will have to remember that name. Seth, sorta has a great ring to it.

Rose Mary, some of the 75 Mickey statues that were on display at the MK are now in Boston (and several other cities in the country). There were 15 of them here (although we only saw 13).

I'm glad the lady got her purse back, but it was really stupid of her to not leave it some place where she could really keep an eye on it, especially not in a wide open area like a marketplace. I bet she'll be more careful now.

Oh, and Law & Order is a great show. I've met Jesse L. Martin a couple of times (he was in Rent with my friend Anthony). He's a great guy, very funny, very sweet. One time on a dare, I asked him what kind of cologne he wears, and after he told me, he laughed, smiled (makes me melt), and said, "I gotta hug you." So he gave me the biggest bear hug I have ever gotten from anyone.

Hey everyone we are home!!!

Got home about 12:30 today and have been trying to catch up and straighten up and took a little nappy. I didnt get the chance to meet Deena. Dh said yesterday he didnt want to go anywhere near MGM between the heat and the crowds and today we left at 9:30 to beat the heat which was supposed to go up to 98 there. Man was it every HOT this weekend. I got burned and I NEVER burn. We just took it easy and bummed around the resort mainly and did go to Epcot for awhile on Saturday. Went to bed early, slept late and just fuzzed. Feels good. Of course I dont know how Im gonna fit my daily nap into my work schedule. You dont think my boss would mind my head on the keyboard for awhile in the afternoon do you?? hehehehehehehehehe

Happy Anniversary Kristy. Wow it has been a year already?? I remember you posting right before you go married I "think" on the Weddings and Honeymoon board.

Liz Im glad you got a chance to get out in the sunshine! Im also glad your home is now back to normal and mom is back home. You need the emotional rest now.
