Welcome back other Karen! I've been kinda worried about the heat next week. But, I don't have a problem with bumming around the resort and hanging at the pool. But, I'm really starting to crave that chocolate cake

Elaine. Sounds like you are having a nice visit w/family this weekend. I'm wishing I had gone to my mom's. DS has been with his dad and that side of the family most of the weekend so I've been kinda .

Yes...I did get my cheesecake and other things I shouldn't have eaten. Today I made sure I got outside for a 4 mile walk. Should have done more with the amount of food I ate.

Dreading going back to work tomorrow. I just love how the work piles until I return. You bust your butt before you leave then you bust your butt when you return. I definitely pay when I take a vacation.

TC...Thanks for having us at your house yesterday. We had a great time. Tell Sue I enjoyed talking with her.

Nancy...How often do you go to the movies? You must see every movie that is out. We went to see Shrek 2 on Saturday. I was so tired from traveling that I fell asleep. The parts I seen I liked.

Liz...Glad you survived your Mom's visit. Now what will you do for entertainment

I really should have said I don't truly mind the debates that go on, but omg, the way some people are with them... THAT is what bothers me!!!! I read the DB once in a while but honestly what I saw there a good portion of the time was mean and hurtful replies. I truly love a good debate but what went on there a lot was not that...

anywho...

I am protesting going to work tomorrow... don't think it is working though

But the good thing is that I did book air for WDW!!! I found a decent rate of $230 so I just booked it... only Delta has non stop flights to Orlando that are at reasonable times (SW does, but they are icky return times) so I'll watch the fares and see if I can get money back later on... unless someone else flies to Orlando I am stuck with not so good fares it seems.

Gack, I should go... but I just don't wanna go to work...

And Amanda......we go out on a date every weekend It's usually out to lunch and a movie. Some weeks other things come up. This weekend we went twice because the weather was bad and we couldn't get any yard work done.

BTW, Josh won in LOTR Risk. I believe he called it a crushing defeat or something along those lines. Although I was choking to death on a s'more, he at least won the game! Ignoring me wasn't all for nothing!

Had I known there were only 2 players I might of played Risk with Josh, but I had word that there was a long line of people wanting to play...I think that came from the mouth of one of Sherry's boys...
I was hoping Jr. would do a karaoke song with me...

I think they started over twice due to people deciding they did not want to play. In the end it was only Josh and James.

I am lucky that Jr. didn't get me singing on video. At least that is what he told me. There is already enough embarrassing footage of me.

Colleen, I hate waking up to that kind of noise... fortunately only 2 days a week do I even run the risk of being up before they come, but across the street from us, I swear they are up at 6:30 beginning work (I leave for work then). I don't think that's right at all!

Kristy, I think you and your DH should drive down this weekend to celebrate your anniversary at WDW I know it has passed but I wouldn't go there on a holiday weekend if you paid me

Todd, too bad you didn't do the karaoke... I would have loved to hear that.

Blech, work is going and I don't feel like doing it... oh well. I did rent a car last night though for December... the rates for the towncars keep going up (they are all around $100 now... not a deal anymore!!!!) so for $50 more I will be renting a car. I will have to see if I can find a better deal later on though.

Any other DL or WDW planning I could do?
