HAPPY BIRTHDAY LILY!!

Guess I am the only one that is not a Brad Pitt fan.

Tina, don't worry, I am not really "into" Brad. I think he has done some excellent acting jobs, but he isn't near as attractive to me as others. I was just truly impressed with how physically fit he is at his age.

My heart lies with one :p

Okay, two :teeth:

Nancy & Deena, you make me laugh :rotfl:

Hi everyone,

No time for a real ketchup but I wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY LILLY AND WELCOME HOME!!!! Sounds like you had a GREAT trip.

Deena I sent you a PM about your trip.

We lost our ever loving collective minds today. We bought a DOG!!! He is a Welsh Corgi who the boys immediately named Angel. I dont think my sixteen year old cat is going to take well to him. I havent seen her since we got home and Im getting worried. I didnt think she would react this way since she is mainly an outside cat.

Happy Birthday Lily!!!!!

Hmmm...to see Troy or not to see Troy. Beth, Nancy and Elaine... how bad is the gore? Can I handle it...or should I pass? **I cannot watch Saving Private Ryan, Braveheart, Gladiator, any of those movies**

We had a great day out! Enjoyed church even though I wasn't in a social mood, then we had lunch at the big mall, and saw Shrek 2!!! Very cute movie indeed...can't wait for the 3rd and 4th now. :hyper: I *ALMOST* came home with a new BAB....but alas we're going to wait until next Monday to get one for our 1 yr. anniversary :) :teeth:

Liz I wish I could stay and play more...but life is a bit busy and cluttered with stuff to do. Haven't gotten any studying done today  Hope work is quiet tomorrow :o

Hugs and Love to all!!

Congrats on your new addition Karen!! I hope you all enjoy Angel :) Don't worry I am sure your cat will be okay soon.

Umm... I had a hard time with Saving Private Ryan as well... it was a bit too much for me. I did okay with Black Hawk Down though so it might have been the mood I was in with Saving... I would guess though that if you couldn't handle Braveheart (one I *LOVE*) that this would be a no for you. Sad though because I put both of those on th same level... same composer too :teeth: But it is very much the same type of movie as Braveheart. Never saw Gladiators though... seemed a bit too cheesey for me :p

I should be heading to bed soon. Busy weekend and I am beat!

Dh said he has seen the cat. Its gonna take her some time. I would put her food outside for her because I think she is afraid to come in to eat but I dont want her to think she is being religated to ONLY staying outside. Whatchall think? I dont want her going hungry because shes skitterish to come in.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LILY!!!!!:cheer2: :rockband: princess:

Sounds like you had an absolutely lovely week!! :) And Cancun, too - you lucky duck!!

My heart lies with one

I bet poor Craigy-Poo is utterly devastated....:(

Karen,
Congrats on the new addition to the family! Our cat was royally teed off when we brought Gunny home 5 months ago - she hid in DD's bedroom for over 18 hours - we had NO clue where she was! She is still mad - but at least she comes out.

Kristy - sounds like you had a great day! Ohhhh - I keep forgetting to tell you that the floaties I sent you were in honor of Boo - she always uses mine to pad her bra..... It's true, Boo - don't try and deny it!!::yes::

Nancy - well..... if you are really bored - you could always bake me some cookies or something....:smooth:

:wave2: Hi Everybody!

:cake: Happy Birthday Lily! ! Welcome home, glad you had a great trip!

Tina- You're not alone, I'm not much of a Pitt fan myself.

Where did the weekend go?

Liz, Are you hanging in there? Not too  yet are ya'? Just keep coloring :teeth:

Pam- That was such a great article. Can't say anymore without getting all :sad1: again.

Elaine-sounds like you had a busy, slightly wild weekend.

Karen- What were you thinking? :teeth: I bet little Angel is a real cutie, tho'!

Hi Kristy-Glad you took some time to play.

:wave2: Nancy!

Ok, time for me to settle down for the night. :( The weekends just don't last long enough.

Wooooooo Hoooooooo Angel is asleep and Snuggles the cat just came in for dinner. I feel soooooooooo much better!!!!!! Angel is just such a joy. Its so wonderful to see my dh with a dog again. He is such a dog lover and its that love and fear of losing yet another loved animal that has kept him from wanting to get another dog. I told him we have between twelve and fifteen years with this little man. And we had a long life with our dog Opus too. I tear up when I see him with the dog and just loving the dog so much.

Awwwww Sunggles has stretched out on the couch and is letting dh give her loving rubs. NOW I feel better. Angel even woke up and started walking around and Snuggles didnt get wacked at all she just laid there and let dh rub her.

Pam I have to tell you your story hand me in tears. Even at my kids ages of 10 and 5 I still get all misty sometimes wondering where the time has gone. Werent they just babies??

Morning! :)

No time to ketchup right now. Just wanted to say hi!

Had a busy, but fun weekend. Saturday was my nephew/godson's 2nd b-day party and yesterday was his actual b-day. :)

Back to babysitting today. :(

Gotta start waking up the boys!!

:moped:

Good morning all!! Very sleepy here!! I am so in need of this weekend. After being as busy as I have been I hope to do near to nothing this weekend!!!

Karen, leave the food where it normally is. I am sure that the cat will adjust. Did you bring in a puppy or a full grown dog? I will say though, a bit late but if you bring in another pet, lock it in a room first so the cat can smell from the outside what is going on. Sometimes that can help a lot! She'll come into her own with the dog though, just give it time.

Oh I sure he is... I have been neglecting him lately too... mabye after the wedding I'll get a cut but I am enjoying my hair growing out a bit at the moment ;)

Rose Mary, I agree. Weekends really do not last long enough!!! Slightly wild weekend? Maybe :p Not for me really, but I am sure it would have been more so if I hadn't been sick Friday night :p

:wave2: Hi Sherry!!! I am glad you had a fun weekend!!

Why do thunderstorms insist on hitting at 4:30 am???:( I have a pounding headache from the barometric pressure, plus working like a madwoman all weekend on the paper, also got the invoicing done.... and I've been awake since the storm arrived.

Elaine - maybe you could let Craigy-Poo just run his fingers through your hair or something....:smooth:

Karen - glad the cat is adapting to the dog. There should be a rule that kids can't grow up until the parents decide.::yes::

Nancy- what did you bake me?

Hi Rose Mary!! I second your view - we need a month's worth of weekends!!
:Pinkbounc :bounce: I am counting down the days until school is out and I won't have to get up so early - but of course Gunny is on school time, have to work on that...:teeth:

Lizzie - how are you feeling today??

I am off to the cruel, cruel world of the office! EEK!!:earseek:

Mad, mad love to one and all!!

Hi gang...
I never seem to be able to ketchup..
Got lots to do today..
Most packing is done, have to mow grass, do laundry, go to dentist & go to radio station & try give them papers for trip(for tax purposes.. )

Morning all!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LILY!!!!

Pam, I love the article. Very good!

I woke this morning with very little voice. Not good since we leave tomorrow morning. I am hoping the doctor can see me before I leave. This is the third time since November that I have lost my voice.

House is cleaned and we are mostly packed. Does anyone else feel the need to clean before going on a trip? If I don't the entire trip back is thinking about the house that needs cleaned. Will bake cookies tonight and we are off early tomorrow. Hope the storms hold off so we can get in-flight.

Have a wonderful week everyone!

Shep,
Take deep breaths! In and out..... Okay - who am I fooling? If this were me - I'd be stressing big time!!

You guys have a great time!!:Pinkbounc :bounce:

Pam--the contest is supposed to be void since I haven't filled out the W-9's yet... ..the local radio station from where I registered moved and in the process doesn't seem to know how to return a call or help out...Clear Channel is taking care of everything else, but the local radio station is supposed to be giving us $500...so I am trying to give them all my forms...

I call the hotel last night to check the reservations and the lady was like 'you're pretty busy', I have you down for at least 50 rooms(in different cities)..but I guess that was the guy from Clear Channel who booked them other rooms for other people...lol..

Pam, I have no idea why the storms hit at that hour. It hit here at 2 am and I woke up due to the wind (of all things). Maybe tonight I can sleep through the night. And my head isn't doing too well due to the pressure as well :(
Although, the thought of Craig running his hands through my hair is a good one... maybe I'll go for a trim and have him put a little more layering in my hair since it can be rather "poofy" at times.

Todd & Amanda, I hope you get everything done that you need to before the trip!! I am so excited for you :bounce: Amanda, sorry about your voice... have you gone to an ENT yet to see if something is causing this that can be fixed?

Freezing here... why do they insist on making this place so cold :(
