It has been a bit of a busy few days......

Well, here is the news here...went to the cute doc today....and got horrible news! I need to have another surgery!! I am really bummed. Before they can surgery, I have to have some sort of injection to my joint that will detrmine if I am going to have a bone fusion or a total joint replacement. I am not a happy camper right now. Greg's brother will be doing the injection test and then surgery will be scheduled. This should happen fairly quickly. Argghhhh!!!!

Which brings me to my next bit of bad news....Chicago. As much as I would like to spend the day showing off Chicago, I am afraid I can't. My ankle is not happy...and walking does not feel really good right now. So, I would love to meet all of you....and hope to see you Friday at Gino's and possibly before, if I can find something for me to do that does not require a lot of walking. I will be happy to help "direct" in which way things are....but that is going to be the extent of the help I will be able to offer!! I am so sorry!! I feel horrible and hope you all understand.

On the up side of things, before I went to the doc, I walk a lot to make sure my ankle hurt when I went to see his. This way I could show him exactly where things hurt. I had to walk in the mall of all places!!! I found the cutest thing for somebody who is having a baby.....I can't wait to send it!!!! I am sure some of you may know my preggo friend!!!!

Suzanne, I am so glad you had a great time!!! Thanks for shopping for my toppers!! I can't wait to get them!! I have somebody special to send one too....

Lily, it was great seeing you in chat!!! Can't wiat to see your Donald Medal!! Good luck with your 1/2 marathon training!!!

Oh, and a quick sad but true story with a twist....Satuday I was driving and saw a very sick deer..I am not sure if he had been hit or what as there were not cars around...but the deer was bleeding from his mouth and could not get up...it was so sad....I think I was in such a frenzy, all I could think about was you and your roadkill. Funny and warped all at once.....but I was thinking of you!!!! I did call the police though and they came and "took care" of the situation. Poor little deer!!!

Her DH and DF took the dog to the vet....so she was doing something to keep busy...that is my perception of it.

Ooh, ooh, me, me!! I have one of those blenders!!! I just use it for making milkshakes, though! (DH ruined a brand new full size blender we got as a wedding gift by running muskrats through it to make bait.... )

LOL, Lily... that's when I particuarly hate shopping as well. I did so much better when I wasn't intentionally looking for clothing. Still need a black, white or yellow sweater though

Jeannie are you getting all domestic on us? I've used hand held blenders (not mixers) and love them!! THey are great for whipping up a shake or something! Not too expensive either http://www.braun.com/na/products/fooddrink/foodpreparation/handblenders.html I might have to get one again. But it is definitely not a replacement for a mixer in my book (and I hate handheld mixers in case you care ) but might be okay for a real blender. The only thing I like more about my regular blender is that it is easier to clean (dishwasher ) Huh, maybe that's why I haven't gotten a handleblender yet

Todd & Pam, don't get me started on Chubroach. I'm pretty convinced they are either trolls or really that into themselves
