Ah it's a beautiful day here...sun is shining and high for today is 78....mother nature loves me this year

Thank you all for the wonderful birthday wishes!!!! I am enjoying my day off...will be joining Weight Watchers around lunch time, then getting a haircut...and dh is taking me out to dinner and to see "Home on the Range". I'm also going to do a bit of birthday shopping if I get a chance

Nancy....sorry to hear that you can't get Lily's raincoat But I hope she enjoys her Chicago shirt!!

Morning ya yas. I have to head into work in an hour, some day off. That's okay...I will be happy to collect the overtime--10 hours of it this week, woohoo. Ed's last day of work is Friday, so we'll be crossing our fingers for me getting OT a bit over the next month or so!

It's official--I will be transferring with the Stores!!!!! Phew, one less thing to worry about. Now I have to find a house.

Psst, Bethie...it's Sherry and Junior's anniversary. I think Todd and Amanda like the flowers, though.

Happy Anniversary, Sherry. Junior gonna play some of that salsa for ya? Glad to hear your moving is going along. It's those little boxes that take forever!

Mixers--have two of the Braun handhelds. They're pretty good (not good enough for the shakes, though) I find the best way to clean them is to put it in one of my huge Ice tea tumblers with water and soap and run it. I like multitaskers, and those tumblers are!

Size 12. Left it behind last year when I found out that NutraSweet was giving me all those migraines. Haven't come back down yet, but to me, healthy is better than those migraines. My dad, ever the comedian, probably would have used one of his lines "Beauty is skin deep, but ugly goes to the bone" basically, sounds like the woman saying 12 is fat is ugly (minded).

Liz, sorry about the surgery. I've been there with my wrists. At least the doc is cute . Get yourself an ECV and roll down Michigan Avenue shopping with the crowd, lol!

Anywho, let me get the kids ready to go. I have to do a couple returns before I go in.

I have only had bad luck with one priority package (and I send many ). It was DS's Chrsitmas present too Took 2 weeks....it ended up going to the east coast first......get delivery confirmation all the time now! And if you print your labels online, the DC fee is waived (not that it is much, but for me it adds up).

Okay.....gotta get my day rolling.

Had a wonderful 4 day weekend and will have a 3 day weekend coming up..

Priority from here usually takes 2 days..We have a great post office...When I was there mailing the package out i had a letter to mail and the girls fought over it, so the lady behind the counter gave me a letter to put int 'the slot' so each girl would have one...

Amanda brought up wanting to go to DW in either August or December..both would be very crowded....
What do you guys think?

When I lived in Asia all the counters and sinks and such were just a wee bit shorter than the US standard (I'm a very average 5'4" btw)...very weird switching back and forth! POOHZANNE! The NutraSweet migraines! Let me say, I NEVER drink diet sodas (or any other NS products) but on a whim a few weeks ago I bought a 6-pack of DietCoke and drank it over a span of a week and a half...by the last can I started getting these incredible, UNBELIEVABLE migraines! Lasted for over three days! I have never had a migraine and rarely do I even get headaches so this was a shock. Nothing I did that week was different except for that 6-pack of DC. I strongly suspected my NutraSweet intake as the migraine trigger and I'm totally turned off by NS now. If NS affects you the way it did me you're better off without it...scary!

Deena and her self-checkout machine screeching at her...! I like those machines but they DO seem to be getting b*tchier lately.

I KNOW I had something to tell Beth but I can't remember now...I guess I've blathered on enough anyway...Happy HUMP day.

Can't go early December....Mandy would miss too much school. I am already taking her out this year for an extra day at Chicago...don't know how that got by me We are talking about right after Christmas which I know will be packed. Heat or crowded...not sure which one????? Don't know that I want to wait till December though

And I said so on the poll thread but I'm with Amanda...AUGUST! I haven't been in August since I was younger and going with my parents and I really miss going then. Hot enough for waterparks and every drink of water (or FREE SODA at Ice Station COOOL) tastes so much better when it's hot out...all the more boring rides seem so much more fun bc of the AC...I 'd love to go in August.

And-Christmas or not- I hate crowds. (Don't hurt me Elaine and Nancy.)

I had the Chicken Parmesan. And we had Coconut Shrimp as an appetizer. And, I ordered a Mucho Strawberry Margarita. Mmmm!

If we ever get to Disney we are going during Christmas break. The kids and DH are all off at that time, so no school or work missed. Sooo....I say December.

Getting ready to head out when the boys get home. They have some games they want to trade, gotta cash my refund check and then we are heading to church. My BIL is opening his pizza place soon and we are all going to "test" the pizza and stuff before it opens for the public. No cooking again tonight!

Psssst... Kimmie the answer is 6... I pick up on things like that. Luis hates that in me. I just close my eyes, visualize the scene and there I get it! Also good at counting things like how many shots Legolas takes at certain places.
