Drum roll...
Finally, I did it! I said I would have my vacation pics for you.
Before we got started I got food poisoning on our first Sunday so I was quite sick for a good part of our vacation. I was a great "trouper" to obtain these pics for my friends. I thought I must sacrifice myself however. This was my quest to find something to soothe me.

I have both of the YaYa books - and I took DD to the theater when the YaYa movie first came out - we are like Sidlee and her Mama when we fight and smash the phone on the counter... She was bored with the movie - (she was only 16 at the time) - but I thought it was funny!

I'll have to preorder this one, thanks for the heads up!!

Elaine - there's always a first time for everything - me remaining silent is one of them!!:happy2:

Ahhhhh.... Lily - we would travel well together - we could eat our way around the world - I hope you like to buy tacky souvenirs, too!!

But it looks like she didn't say or do anything scary!

I know...it's kind of funny that so many of the DIS Yayas actually haven't read the book or seen the movie. I'm another...have no idea what they are about. Maybe the cabana boys can do an interpretive dance ...in wet, white t-shirts.

Great pictures!! I wish I had a Dole Whip now...I've never tried one. A deprived childhood.

hola, yayas!

Fresh from another busy day. Now I begin the night shift, getting the house stuff done !

Ed told me my FedEx came, but he neglected to tell my my EXCHANGE came!!! Thank you, Nancy!!! The kids were so excited to see me open the box--apparently Daddy told them I had to open it. It had:
Leis-one for each of us
lots of summer fun toys (and yes, that coloring book will get a workout on the drive to Florida)
A couple of pairs of flip flops (I love the straw and tropical ones!)
Some yummies to munch on (and DH was tickled that he got the Fun Dip, his all time favorite candy)

Now I feel bad that my yaya's won't get sent out until next Monday, because I think she needs some goodies from WDW!

Okay, since I'm here, I need to do some ketchup:

Tara - Congrats! Done with school and getting a new degree!
Kristy- Enjoy the brief respite between classes...we got the rain you sent away!
Bethie-Nice visiting with ya yesterday...I got to see something she's sending! And yes, it's pretty ironic that we'll get to finally hang out in Florida!
Nancy-What can I say? You are a hero in my house . Your baby's graduating, and hang in with all the houseguests! I saw Mean Girls last night and laughed my tushie off. Now that I have a digital, it stays in my bag at all times.
Betty-Nice seeing you...drop in again soon!
Lily-Best thing in the world is having a chocolate smile from eating a Mickey Bar!
Deena-Have to agree with CM being too close to call. And I thought Illuminations is at 9 every night, meaning your cruise wouldn't end until about 9:30. If you'd like, PM me and I'll send you the 'tip list' that I give to my CM's anytime they go to WDW. It's become legend in my store that new people come and ask for it, lol!
Pam-Your daughter is beautiful! Hope they had fun at the prom.
Liz-Right there with you hoping this week goes by quick, because I'll be leaving for WDW as soon as I'm done friday night.

Jeanne-Never seen the movie or read the book, either. I think I should pick up the book to read. I only get to drive every four hours or so, although now that we have cell phones with IM, I might get to drive more this trip!

That was a first for me this last trip. I love the citrus swirl, but never had a Mickey bar or dole whip.

Haven't read the book either. I guess I should before I get the second then. Will have to look around. Saw the movie though.

I feel like an out of sync YaYa...no BaB, no Italian charms, first time Mickey bar, first time dole whip...

Good Morning Everyone!!!

Been a hectic busy week but this weekend is time for YAYA fun!!! Cant wait to see Beth and Elaine and possibly Suzanne in the World this weekend!!! Wooooooooo Hoooooooo!!!! I wont be there for Illuminations on Sunday so I hope I get to meet Suzanne for a Mickey Bar.

My package wont go out until Monday because I also want to pick up some stuff in the World.

Don't worry Nancy, Dole Whips do not appeal to me at all. I guess that's why they have so much variety in food! And truthfully I'd rather have a kaki gori over any ice cream any day. I am not as much into ice cream as most would think.

No, Elaine the system never came up yesterday and made for a very boring day. Haven't tried it yet this a.m. to see how it's doing.

Don't like Dole whips, haven't had a citrus swirl and I think I've only had a bite of DS's Mickey bar! Too many other things I love at The World and never seem to get them all in!
