The WORSE Meal & Service Ever! San Angel Inn

This is getting me really nervous. We have a CP package there at 4.15 for the 6.45 show.I can deal with the bad food if that's what we get, but we barely have 2 hours before we have to be at the theater to get our seats, what if they make us wait an hour for a table???

If it was just me I'd switch to Nine Dragons in a heartbeat but DM really wants to go to San Angel. Urgh....

I was nervous when we made our ADR's there for our trip in Aug 06. I had read many bad reviews here, but my parents and sister had eaten there on a trip quite a few years back and loved it. So when dd and I were going with my sister, nephew and mom, they wanted to eat there. So I made them and hoped for the best. Know what? It was great! Every one of us just loved our food and the atmosphere was great (we were seated by the rail overlooking the ride). The service wasn't the fastest I will say, but it wasn't anything like the OP's.

We've always had really good experiences here.

Although we like this restaurant it falls under the category of 'too many restaurants, too little time'.

I don't know.

Maybe it's the time of day -- and if that's the case, they should work on it -- but I go there every time I go to WDW. That is my first day lunch.

I have never had bad service nor a bad meal there. I usually time it to go soon after they open. The latest was two weeks ago. Another marvellous meal and excellent service.

Maybe everything derails as the day goes on?
