The Woman Report- Update 4/24 Final Thoughts p. 74

I’m getting ready when LA comes in and says, “I wish I would’ve brought my lipstick!” :cutie: This makes me giggle a bit and she asks if she can have some make up so I give her some. She informs me I don’t need to put it on her, “I know how this works,” she says. At 6 years old…:sad2:

Linnie, this cracked me up :lmao:. She knows how it works :rotfl2:. I love hearing all about the Disneyland, since I quite doubt we will ever go there.

Perfect timing with the characters at breakfast! I cant think of who they were? did you ever find out?
Yea! for Trey for getting 1200 points! :thumbsup2 Space mountain sounds fun.
So does Indiana jones...
Cant wait for the pictures. :goodvibes

Chip has the chocolate "chip" nose.
The bear is Koda from Brother Bear
The racoon is Meeko from Pochantas

The raccoon was probably Meeko from Pocahantas and the bear would most likely have been Baloo from Jungle Book or one of the bears from Brother Bear. Of course if we had pictures we would know for sure. :rolleyes1

Oops, Chel and I posted at the same time.

great update and pics. oh wait someone else posted the pics. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

no really great update. sounds like he ended up having a good time with the characters at breakfast.

I remember POTC and I loved it out there, it has 2 drops.

I love Indy out there so much more than Dinosaur.

I have never done Mr Toad.

I did do the Matterhorn and enjoyed it.

SM was the old way last time I was there.

Looking forward to the pics.

great update Lin. Luv those character meals. It is especially gud when they interact with the kids. Some of them just smile for the pictures. :cool2: Glad Trey enjyed. :cool1:

Space Mountain at DLR is now my favorite Disney Roller Coaster surpassing EE at AK. :thumbsup2

Good job lin. Now show the pix. popcorn::

When you go some place a lot it is interesting to hear someone else's opinion about it.

We haven't been to Steakhouse 55 yet, we did go a number of times when it was called Granville's Steakhouse.

Really enjoyed breakfast there, however dinners were a little weird for me. I'm a meat and potatoes Outback Steakhouse kind of guy, so it was disturbing that every time I took a drink of water someone was refilling my glass and if I dropped a crumb the buser was there with a little hand powered vacuum cleaning them up. :confused3

Oiy, I'm so behind on this report!!

Maybe I'll just print out the entire thing and read in on the ride down to FL!!!

Sorry, Linnie, I'll get up to speed somehow!

How cute :cutie:

A bear comes around and we get his picture. Then I see a raccoon sneaking up on LeeAndra. Now this guy was funny! He took Trey’s hair and made it all stand up! It cracked us all up! Then he kept trying to sneak the kids’ plates away from them. He was very entertaining. Chip came around and a bear did too. We were starting to have a really good time now! Trey perked up when that raccoon messed with his hair. He loved that! :goodvibes

That does sound like fun! I'm glad Trey enjoyed that pirate:

We walk around, trying to figure out where things are. It’s a lot different than MK. We ride Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, which Trey loved. I kept shrieking (for his amusement) so that got him revved up. We hit the Matterhorn. That was fun, but rickety. It really knocks you around! Then Buzz Lightyear. On this one, you can take your gun out of the holder and have some leeway with aiming it. Didn’t matter-Buzz still beat everyone. I came in 3rd behind LA. Trey came in last. He got 1200 points. I’m not sure how that happened because he just spun the car around. Never shot his gun that I ever saw. Then Star Tours and then Space Mountain. SM was sooo much cooler than the one in Florida! For one, you get to ride side by side. The music they play is awesome and the ride itself is smoother and crazier! We loved it!! :worship:

OMG, that all sounds so fun! :yay: Perhaps we should go to Disneyland some time, seeing as it's sooooo much closer to us and we could actually drive there :woohoo: Your TR is great, Linnie - really paints a picture for the readers :thumbsup2

Next Up: Buzz Loses His Cool With Lin. Not gud. :sad2: :guilty:

Uh oh :scared:

Sounds like fun.

It was! Until Buzz got mad at me....

Indy is definitely funner (is that a real word:confused: ) than Dinosaur and I too thought POTC took forever.
Boo Buzz

It's a word! :thumbsup2 I liked Indy better than Dinosaur too. So did the kids-they weren't nearly as scared when they got off the ride. Dino scares the pants off 'em.

Boo Buzz!!! He mean!!

:confused3 I thought POTC at DW was to short and not in a good way. I love POTC so much better at Disneyland. Though I think the line themeing is better at DW.

:lmao: We're opposites! (On POTC anyway.) The line themeing is better at DW.

Sorry Trey was Buggin'.

Did you go back the next day if the breakfast was lame?

Great low-carb snack: beef jerky. Me likee beef jerky.

Was Buzz ticked he missed the early entry??

FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!!

Uh....I mean....UH-Oh!

AHHHHH, I love beef jerky, but the problem was Buzz wouldn't go to the store!!! We paid tons of money for our rental car and it sat there the whole time. :headache:  As long as Buzz had his chips and things, he was fine. I was relagated to eating the gummy bears and starving....

The breakfast ended up to be fun so we didn't go back.

Buzz wasn't ticked about the early entry, but stick around-he gets ticked the next time we go back and I force him to do early entry!!

Linnie, this cracked me up :lmao:. She knows how it works I love hearing all about the Disneyland, since I quite doubt we will ever go there.

Hi Tracy, I keep meaning to get back to you on the PM, but I've been trying to get things taken care of around here before my surgery on the 15th. I was hoping to get this report done by then, but it looks like I won't. :guilty:

Anyway, LeeAndra is 6 going on 16. The other day she told me her teacher said 5 quarters equals 1 dollar. I told her "No, it's 4 quarters equals 1 dollar." She thought for a minute and said, "My teacher isn't too smart." :sad2:

Then I was doing a cross stitch pattern and using hard-to-see black thread. (It's Snow White's hair) I said off handedly, "I can't really see this." And she tells me, "That's because you're gettin' old." :sad2:

We did and thank you Chel and Lessa for explaining that!! :goodvibes They were from Brother Bear and Pocohantas.

Oh on, not more grief about the pictures....;) j/k

Indy was better than Dinosaur-it was so neat in there.

2 drops at POTC was fun!!

I hope they change SM at WDW like the one at DL. It was way better!!

I liked the Matterhorn, but Buzz didn't. Jerked that jerk around too much. :lmao:

great update Lin. Luv those character meals. It is especially gud when they interact with the kids. Some of them just smile for the pictures. Glad Trey enjyed.

Thank you! I love the character meals. Buzz does not. :sad2: I was glad to see Trey finally start having fun. He's no fun when he's crabby.

I want to see LA's hair cut. Please!:)

Ok, When she gets home I'll take a picture of that little rugrat. :lovestruc

PLUS!!! Dale's nose is bigger and he looks a little "stupider". Chip got all the brains in that family.

Kind of like our family. Lin has all the brains. Buzz is the stupider one.

I don't like that either! I'm a "plain" person. I don't like having some one brush my crumbs for me. Makes me feel like a bad little kid. The food was awesome, the service was excellent but very stuffy for me. I suppose some people like that. I know some in Buzz's family who do.

They loved Victoria & Albert's at WDW when we all went for a family reunion a few years ago. Buzz and I couldn't wait to get out of there and swig beers and get down and boogie. :dance3:

No problem Kathy. I'm behind on yours too. The surgery is consuming my daily activities now.... :flower3:

Uh oh :scared:

Thank you!! :goodvibes I told Buzz the other night his is funnier b/c he uses all my "material" that I say around the house. A lot of what he says on his TR is stuff I've said that he thinks is funny. :sad2: Then he claims it like he said it. Oh well. He brings home the bacon. Gotta love him for that...

Disneyland is closer to us too. The flight was a lot easier. We used to drive, but I don't think my kids would like that these days.

Trey loved it when his hair got messed up. Most kids on the autism spectrum disorder don't like being touched or having their hair touched. He loves both. He is such a snuggler and he loves to have his hair messed with. I always massage his scalp for him when I shampoo it. He kind of sits there, just zoning out. :goodvibes

The monkey comes out looking suprisingly similar to Buzz... Trey still isn't too enthused. LA loves it.

Here comes trouble!

Great pictures, it looks like you had some great character interaction, especially from Meeko(the raccoon).

Wow, those are some good pics. LG is having fun and MB looks like he was having a good time too. Such cute kids. :thumbsup2
