Ok, here goes - Sunday - last day of "Open early, close late" park hours, last chance for fireworks or DEP.
We spent a while on Saturday trying to decide what to do - our "Itinerary Written in Stone" didn't really extend to our last 2 days, so I was feeling a little lost without a definitive plan! We made sure to ask the kids what their favorite rides were, so we knew which ones to ride again. Logan - basically everything! I went through the rides list on the map, and every ride was a "yes". So that really didn't help!

Adam really only wanted to ride Star Tours and Buzz again, and watch the "mae mae (his name for McQueen since he was 14 months old)" parade again. We also went through a map and checked off anything we had already done, so it was visually easy to see whatever we missed and might want to do before we leave.
So we were at the gates for opening around 7:30, gates opened at 8 (no rope drop), and we headed left, for Indy. They wanted to check out Tarzan's Treehouse, so we wandered around there for a bit - the park was still empty, so it was pretty nice at that time.
Sorry - still learning to use my new camera here, so a few pics are not what they should be....
Once we were done, Ds wasn't sure if he wanted to ride Indy or not, so we headed off to do Splash first, since he really wanted to do that one again. Which of course, was fine with Adam and Allie, because they got to do Pooh for the umpteenth time!! It was a tie, by the end of the trip, which one we rode more - Pooh or Buzz!!

I think it was something like 15 times for both!!! On the way, Logan asked what that "big old spooky house" was - of course, the HM! We figured since Adam did POTC without being scared, maybe HM would be ok too, and I kind of wanted to see what all the hoopla was about, so we went on in. I rode with Adam and Allie, and I just hugged them both tight and kept chattering on - no one really seemed scared! Adam thought the hitchhiking ghosts were cool at the end - he kept looking for it as we got out of the car!
So then Logan and Dad rode SM twice - went right around again since there was no line, and we rode Pooh twice - again, no line! I drooled in the candy store for a while, we got more pressed pennies, and Allie picked out a shirt with Pooh on it, which she then had to carry with her for hours!
Dh finally noticed the Pressed Penny wallets (I saw them, but thought they were more autograph books, so I passed them by!

), so we picked up one of those, and Logan had a great time that evening gathering up his and Adam's pennies and putting them into the slots.
By then, Logan had decided he wanted to try Indy, so he and I headed there together (first big person ride I got to ride the whole trip!!) while dh took Allie and Adam back to the Treehouse to kill time. We used our FP's, but I was still surprised by the length of the wait - and the queuing line - the Unofficial Guide wasn't kidding when they said the line lead to the Santa Monica Pier and back!!
I loved the efforts they made to make everything look authentic - the work the designers went to making the queuing area interesting and fun for those waiting in line is unbelieveable! Only at Disney....
Ds kept telling me to stop touching things, or something was going to break or collapse or crash! The actual ride itself wasn't as much of a hit with him - I guess it kind of scared him, because he said he didn't want to ride it again with Dad when we got out. Fun for me, though - I was glad that I got to ride it, since it was the only adult type ride I got to go on!
By then it was 10:00, and since we still hadn't seen PHD, and that was Adam's second most important thing (after the PPP), we decided to get there early, since it had been cancelled twice already during our trip! We hit Buzz on the way out of the park (ok, so it isn't really
on the way, but since it was their favorite ride, out of the way was ok!) Then Adam saw Star Tours, and had to go. So Allie and I sat at the benches outside the Star Trader and waited. I started snapping pics, and noticed a lady excitedly hugging another lady in a uniform along the walkway between the Little Green Men store and the Tomorrowland Terrace. Allie and I decided to go in for a closer look, and encountered another member of the Dream Team!!

We got 2 more Dream FP's, one for Allie and one for me. I explained to the lady that there were more members of our party who were currently on a ride, and she very kindly but firmly said "you need to be here to win, but we will be around for a few more minutes, so bring them over if their ride is over soon." So, a bit disappointed and a lot excited, we sat down to wait, hoping ds's and dh would get off the ride really soon. Unfortunately, 3 minutes later the DT left, and 10 minutes after that, my boys came back!

But in all honesty, Adam is too small for most of the FP rides, especially in DCA, so the FP's wouldn't be much use for him, so we handed them over to Logan and Dh, who would probably use them the most.
Then we headed to PHD in DCA. The show was adorable - we were near the end of the line, but it wasn't really a big deal. We got a spot close to the aisle, so the kids had an ok view anyway. Adam had a great time 'pat pat pat' ing with the Little Einsteins - he had the biggest grin on his little face - it really was priceless!
Allie's favorite was the Pooh portion - especially when we all blew to help get Roo's kite down from the tree, and a ton of tissue paper leaves blew out from the ceiling and fell down around us! She squealed and clapped and caught leaves....it was adorable!
Afterward, we decided to do Monsters one more time, and while we were in line played a game of peek a boo with Holiday Mickey who was behind a screen of bushes over by the Hollywood Backlot. After the ride, we headed over to the backlot to see what other characters might be there - sure enough, Mickey was there, and so was Handy Manny!
Very exciting for my Ds - we were one of the last few to get to see him before his handler moved him on, so we were lucky.
We stopped by the Farmer's Market to grab lunch, and dh noticed Atta greeting next to Bountiful Valley Farm, so Adam went to get an autograph and picture. Allie LOVED Atta (again, from a distance, not close up)!
Then we did the bakery tour, and Logan was very unimpressed that we didn't get to watch the bread dough riding around the belt on the ceiling like the movie showed - he figured it should be just like the movie!
We stopped by the SS Rustworthy for a quick play, but no one was really hot, so they didn't really want to get wet. Then we snagged FP's for Mulholland Madness and went back to the hotel for naps.
Headed back to DCA for the parade around 5, Logan and Dh rode MM (Logan's new fav ride!). It was getting a bit cool, so we headed back to DL for a couple more rounds of Buzz, and since it had been a long day, we headed back to the hotel for a swim and early bedtime.
