Good to "see" you. Real life does get in the way of the DIS unfortunately doesn't it? Not to rub it in, but I'm leaving Friday for WDW and will be at WL on Sunday.

Hey :wave2: congratulations on your trip.:cool1: Here's wishing you and yours the most Magical Trip ever.pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: Bring back plenty of photos.:thumbsup2

I couldn't pass up the 4 for 7 offer. We bumped up our 2010 Disney vacation to 2009. We are booked in a standard view at the WL in July. We hit the value season rates and it was only a Little more than a moderate. It looks like a great place from what I have seen on this thread. I am subscribing.

Hello, WL Vets! :wave2: I have tried to scan this thread for the answer to my question, but I've gotten 20 pages in, and my back is giving out, lol. I'm sorry for asking a question that I'm sure has been asked many times over! ;)

We have a week-long res. in a couple of weeks, and we just upgraded from woods view to CL. I had requested North Wing, facing the pond, near the elevator. Now, I'm thinking we might like to request the Inner Courtyard view, since we have a chance at that option with the CL. We were hoping for a nice view of the EWP - I noticed there are conflicting reports on the first few pages of this thread, some say the South Wing has a better view of the EWP, others that the North Wing has a better view.

Anyone know which is correct? Any opinions would be helpful! TIA!:goodvibes

We hit the value season rates at deluxes as compared to summer season rates at a mod. You are right, it is not that great of difference. We will be at WL from July 17 to July 25. I think we are paying summer season for our first one or two nights, but with the 4 three deal, it is still great. You will love WL. It is going to be hard to ever go back to a value or mod.

I just had to say that we are going to be at the WL in 8 days :cool1: :cheer2: . This will be our second time staying here, we have a courtyard with bunkbed room booked, and my DH and I along with both my DDs are celebrating our 10 yr. anniversary. I am so ecstatic about returning to the WL, we just love this resort. However, I know my DH would LOVE to stay in one of the Bearface rooms, I have already mentioned on our ressie that we will be celebrating our anniversary when we are there, in all of your opinions, what do you think would be the chances of us getting this room....oh yeah, I did put the request for the room in (like the OP had mentioned, I didn't call it the Bearface Room but referred to it as the inner courtyard on the 5th or 6th floor off the lobby). Also, my DH does not know I am trying really hard to get this room for him, this will be the best anniversary present if I can pull it off. :goodvibes

When it came time to pick our resort we let our DD do it. DD is a HUGE Splash mountain fan so she picked WL. She said it reminds her of the ride. :rotfl:
She is a keeper!

Hi to all,
Does anyone know if any of the "bearface" rooms on the 4th or 5th floor are connecting or adjoining rooms?( It is my daughters sweets sixteen celebration and we are bringing 2 friends with us and want them to be close by)
Thanks so much,
Robin

I cannot tell you if these rooms are connecting but my guess would be probably not as there are not many rooms. I would think you would be lucky to score one but to ask for and receive two adjoining would be hard to get as many like this area and as i stated there are not many on the hallway with the openings for the lobby on one side and the lookout on the other. have you looked at the map? You might try looking for another area that meets your needs better, ie, easier to obtain.

I think I have finally settled on WL for my daughter's graduation trip. Now I need help with room requests, please. We will book a woods view room. Are there any woods view areas with a possible MK/Contemporary view? Also, are there any standup/enclosed type balconies at WL? The balcony is very important to us, so an enclosed one just won't work. Are there any other considerations that I should know when making requests for woods view?

Thanks!

Check out the first page of this thread. They have given some great descriptions and options. :hippie:

We are staying at the WL and have reservations one evening at The Wave at the CR ? How is the best way/fastest way to get over there and how much time will it take?

The fastest way would be to take a taxi and it should not no more then 5 minutes. However if you want to save some money take the blue flag boat that operates from 6:45 AM - 11:30 PM right to the Contemporary.
