I just found this new, updated WL thread. I was trying to take a break from obsessing about our May trip, but reading this has me SO excited again! I've never been to WL and have always wanted to stay there - I can't wait until May!! Now, back to page 10 so I can continue reading...

That is so beautiful! I must have it now. I wonder if you could call merchandising and they can get it for you and ship it. It would be so nice to look at it and have Wilderness Lodge dreams all day long.

Our first stay at WL is planned for this upcoming October and we have a woodsview booked!! SO EXCITED!

But I have a question about requesting a room. Are there woodsview rooms overlooking Otter pond on an upper floor with a King size bed?

Pretty specific, huh??

This will be our first time in October..are there any special decorations around the WL this time of year??

The only area that is decorated would be the Magic Kingdom for MNSSHP. There will be some fall displays at the gift shops.

There is so much going on during you stay MNSSHP, Food & Wine, The Haunted Hayride over at Ft. Wilderness.

October is also one of the best times to visit WDW the weather is wonderful.

I cannot wait to get that snowglobe!!!! And to think, I am not really a fan of snowglobes, but it is of the WL so I of course love it!!! It does look neat!!!
It will be going on the opposite end of our mantle to go along with the frame we bought in December!!
I hope they still have those snowglobes in May!!!

Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure. $40 not bad. This may be my next! It's so hard to go into the Mercantile and not buy something.

Even those darn Mickey head pretzels. I bought them once, now I can't stop. So addicting

I love that! It looks like you had so much fun! Thank you for sharing! ...by the way...do the WCC folks really make everyone wear napkins on their heads? I don't think my husband will go for that.

Okay, I've read the posts on the first page with all of the great info on the lodge. I know that all of the boat information is listed here and I've written it down but if I get there and cannot remember which boat is which, is it written on a sign or something close to the launch? I would feel better if I can check myself again before we get on the boat. Thanks.

Yes the information is posted at the dock @ Wilderness Lodge and at the Magic Kingdom. You can always ask the Cast Members or boat Captain before boarding.

The servers at WCC are very good at reading people and their personalities, so don't worry no one has to participate.

Marco and Laura are very outgoing and love to laugh, Marco will go along with everything so Cast Members love him. I remember the first time we all visited WCC my nephews thought they (Laura & Marco) were KOOL.
