We're so excited too! :yay: Your trip is a surprise for who?

37 days!!!

Brian

It was a "surprise we're really going back" trip for all of us. We had to cancel a Sept '09 trip, so I twisted DH's arm a little bit and was able to rebook us for January 2010. :yay: :yay: :yay:

We're back!!!!

We had a great time, and I already have PDD!
We were in room 4081. I had booked a Woodsview Bunkbed room and requested Upper Floor, north wing, facing MK. At first I was a little disapointed, as I was really hoping for the upper floor, north wing part, but we were exhausted, and the room was ready when we checked in around 11:30. We were right off the lobby, in the corner, over WCC. It was nice to walk out and see the beautiful tree, even though the stone wall from the fireplace was right in front of the door ( I think that actually managed to muffle the sound a bit, which is great...I was really nervous about the noise when we saw the location, as we tend to turn in early.) Things were pretty quiet by 10 each night though. I will post pics of the view later, once I get them into Photobucket. We had a view of woods and roofs, but could see part of the castle and fireworks through the trees at night, which is the part I was hoping for.
I picked up prices for the Bike & boat rentals, as well as the spa, but they are in the box I shipped back...Claire already posted the bike & boat info, I'll post the spa pricing as soon as the box arrives.

Well I'm glad you are getting to go back. Might pass you on 95 on the way down!!! Haha! :rotfl2:

May the countdown begin!!!!

Welcome Back!!!! Thanks for your review!

I can't wait to see your pics. The room sounds good. I always wanted to stay off the lobby. :-) Hope the PDD does not last too long!

Time is slowly ticking down, not long before we rub the bears nose.:santa:

I'm now down to four days. It's cold out, windy, and snowy. I couln't sleep last night.

It's not because of our trip to WDW. It's because my Cleveland Browns finally beat the Pittsburgh Steelers.:happytv::rotfl2:

I'm right behind you. I'm down to six days. I think I'm toast at work -- I have NO desire to do anything except think about the trip. ;)

I'm in the same boat, though I'm still 36 days out! :rotfl2:

Brian

Well, to tell you the truth, I HAVE sort of been loopy :upsidedow at work for the past 30 days or so. It's very hard to concentrate when you know you're this close! :woohoo:

Isn't it funny when everyone's just excited about Christmas and the holidays and we've got Disney to be all excited about, too?!?!?! :cool1:

YES!!! For the past 11 years, we have been at WDW for almost all of them around Christmas. So, WDW and Christmas are all rolled up into one big present. :) :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Great information! I have not read through all the pages but was wondering...I would like a room that looks over the lobby area...are all club level rooms like this? Is there one section better than the other to request?
Thank You!

Hi! Staying at the WL for the first time this Febuary. We have a bunk Woods view room. Any suggestions for room requests? I have one who will be sleeping on the way home every night and we prefer a quieter room. Any helpful advice is appreciated. Thanks!

There are only four suites on the 7th floor that overlook the Lobby. The seating areas for the Old Faithful Club Lounge are all overlooking the Lobby. For other room view options please see page 1- post # 2.

HONEYMOON SUITES:
There are four of these suits and are located on the 7th floor off the Lobby. Two are located above the front desk (South) and have views of distance trees and roof tops. Two are located above Whispering Canyon (North) and face the Contemporary Resort and Magic Kingdom giving you the possibility of seeing the fireworks from your balcony.

See Page 1-post # 2 for all the room view options. I would request North Wing overlooking the otter pond. Request 6th floor for a enclosed balcony or 5th floor for open rail balcony.

all the information I was looking for was here! Thank you for posting your knowledge here!!:goodvibes

Hi Lodge lovers! I have my pics in photobucket now, so thought you all may want to see them.

We were in 4081...woodsview bunk room. The next 3 pics are the daytime view. We had a peek at the Castle and fireworks through the trees at night.

Your pics are fabulous, Heather!! I may just have to try the WL in December sometime. :) Although would not have been thrilled with that view from the room. :sad2: Of course, the seating outside your door and view of the Lobby make up for the view from the balcony!! :thumbsup2

Looks like it was a perfect trip! :goodvibes
