The "Why I didn't speak to my sister for a week" trip report *** Now Complete :)

great photos of seaworld, hope the blister doesnt cause you too many problems

"I think we're going to have to go back to the hotel. I have a blister."

And I hope YOU said.......

"Here's some cab fare to get back to the hotel. SEE YA!"

Cab Fare? I wouln't spend another dime on her. I'd have already cancelled her flight back home and gotten the credit for a future trip. In the least, she should be in one of those electric carts so she can keep up and not get blisters.

We missed the Seymoure & Clyde show. I didn't say a thing. When Jessi asked what we were going to do now, I said "whatever you want". Now she wanted to know which show we could go to. Now she wanted me to look at the schedules.

Been there, done that. Isn't it funny how they want your help once they realize they can't figure it out on their own?

Shamu's pretty impressive, but I'd rather take the trainer home to my bathtub.

:rotfl2: Why, yes, I would have to agree!!!!
I still felt guilty about rushing them, I went in the shop and bought Jess & Alex a stuffed polar bear and a stuffed penguin.

You are too sweet for your own good!

"I think we're going to have to go back to the hotel. I have a blister."

A blister? As in welcome to a day at the theme parks blister? As in, suck it up, put on a bandaid, and LET'S GO blister?

I just wanted to post and say I've been enjoying? reading your report. The question mark being I feel bad saying I'm enjoying it, when so far, it hasn't been the trip you planned on it being!

Your pictures are great. Thanks for sharing them.

Oh, and I'll give an extra shout out at Bon Jovi tonight in Boston for you!

:scared1: What the ...........(heck)? August is cooler........I think your sister is nuts! :rolleyes1 She better reschedule now. Of course, it may be cooler than Delaware in August  (which can get so freak'n humid)

:lmao:

Too bad about the blister. Guess she didn't pack any moleskin, eh?

I'm so sorry that your sister made the trip so difficult for you. I can't believe that you paid for all this and she still acted like that. I hope she gets better, but based on the title, I'm guessing not.

I just wanted to say that I know how you feel. About 2 years ago, my husband and I took a trip to Orlando with his best friend and his best friend's girlfriend. We all drove up there together for a weekend. Well, during the whole trip the girlfriend wanted to sleep in until noon and then go to the parks. Our first day, hubby and I were up early and ready to go. My husband's best friend, ended up being up early like us. He wanted to get to the parks early before the crowds. He tried several times to get her up, then when he finally did she took an hour shower. By this time, all three of us were ready to go. We were actually going to Sea World on this day. My husband's best friend had a surprise for her and she still was taking her sweet time. We finally got there around 11:30ish which was to early for her. All she did was complain, complain, complain. Her surprise was that her boyfriend was going to propose to her at the sea lion area (which is her favorite animal). While we were walking back there, all she kept saying was that she wanted to leave. Once we got back there, hubby and I were on the other side away from them (for privacy) and I took pictures of him proposing to her. She cried and then the complaining continued. I think there was a happy moment in there somewhere, but come on. You are now engaged! I love my husband's best friend like a brother, but both of us couldn't take much more of it by the end. We ended up taking a cab without them. Oh and to top it off, at dinner that night she basically insulted my husband and me. She said that my wedding ring and engagement ring were cheap and that our wedding was horrible. My husband wanted to tell her off but he bit his tongue. (He knew how much her ring cost and he paid more for mine.) After all that, she then had the nerve to ask me to help plan her wedding and be her maid of honor since she doesn't have any girl friends to do it. (I wonder why!) Of course, I said No! I hope that your trip turns out to be better than mine.

I have to know how the wedding turned out or IF there was ever a wedding. I am seeing some major red flags. :scared1:

This TR is way too much fun for me. I's subscribing at the expense of your family (LOL!) I feel like I am part of some something so tragic yet halarious. :lmao:

settle down guys,,,she just needed to go back to the room and apply preperation H all over so she wouldn't continue to be a pain in the rump...

Hey! I know your cute trainer! He's a really nice guy. Good taste :thumbsup2

I've never been to Sea World. Your pictures are great. I would love to pet a pengin!!!

Wow, have to say I'm totally hooked :thumbsup2

You have the patience of a saint and then some, we have also been there with 'guests' who don't appreciated all the time and love that goes into planning a vacation. You feel like you're 'rushing' them but if you didn't they would miss out so much :confused3 I think if you're travelling that far and spending that much you have to get your moneys worth, hey it's fun :cool1: it's not like they're at work, anyone would think they'd been taken to WDW against their will :rotfl:

Oh and with the whole alcohol/ID debacle, my hubbie was recently at a grocery store and the assistant asked for ID - he's 30 years old - he just laughed thinking she was joking :lmao: Then he gave her his driving licence, she saw the year and went bright red  Couldn't look him in the eye after that. I do think it's hard to judge a persons age tho these days (but you'd think a 30 year old would be easy enough to distinguish from a 21 year old).

Looking forward to hearing more esp. if your sis gets a taste of her own medicine :surfweb:

I got carded 2 weeks before my 30th birthday. Nothing since though! :(

You poor thing! I am totally hooked on your trip report as it's "what can POSSIBLY happen next?" I can only hope that one of your postings is going to state that you popped your sister upside the head. Looking forward to the next installment!

Mariana, I'm loving the report if only for the outrageousness of it! You're more than welcome to join DBF and I on any of our trips as we are park commandos and can just about do all the rides and shows at one park in one day! Yay for planning! Also, I enjoyed being able to click on the links on the first page, but noticed that you have not been putting links to the most recent updates. Not sure if you just forgot due to probably being enraged just remembering your trip. Keep up the good work! :thumbsup2

Your TR is a reminder to me why DW & I prefer going with just the two of us.
