It is dark and drippy here. I plan on taking it easy today. I have a headache that doesn't seem to want to go away.

Ham sandwiches and potato wedges with a spicey ranch dressing. I need to get to the store later I want some fruit to go with dinner.

Thanks! I think it's part and parcel of being the youngest. He's just picking up everything the others are bringing home from school. I'm consoling myself with thinking about how strong his immune system must be getting.

Aimee ~ I am so glad your retreat went good. Now I am putting my Momma hat on sweetie - You have felt like poo for so long and you NEED to start feeling better. If the surgeon can get you scheduled now - you need to go for it. I know there are things you want to do, there always will be, but you need to take care of you NOW!!!! Ok, now I have said my peace. And I give you, the peace to do what you want. But please take care of you. You are such a special person and we just want to see you well again.

I made the lemon pasta and roasted shrimp with some garlic bread - it was easy and fast. I decided to skip the concert. It was an easy thing for me to skip and I've been in a lot of pain today soooooo, I skipped it. I think the weekend retreat wore me down a lot.

DH came downstairs to eat and now I'm stuck with football on "my" TV but at least it's a team many of you are rooting for I really despise football, the football industry, and everything that goes along with it but I do hope y'all get that spot in the Super Bowl. I know it'd mean a lot to you.

DH has announced that whoever wins this game (Saints and whoever is playing them) will likely win the Super Bowl. In his humble opinion, of course He thinks they are the two top teams.

Dinner wound up being takeout Thai food. Not my first choice since we just had it earlier this week but my mother can be pickier and more demanding than my two year old and I wasn't up for the fight tonight. I also just wound up sharing pad thai and mini rolls with Zachy because I knew he wouldn't eat much himself. It was good though!

Massachusetts here is HAPPY to be rooting for the Saints!
