I read back but was trying to get everything done and now I cannot remember anything else I wanted to say

Buddy has a fire going and I cannot wait to park in front with a glass of wine. I got everything done so if the snow predictions happen I am all set. Years ago we had a bad storm and the power was out for six days. We never saw it coming so I had nothing ready. Anyway it went from 6-10 inches in our are to in excess of 20.

Welby just called and is on her way to the grinder shop..again.......... She is Buddy's hero right now! So e are having grinders tonight!

I hit share on FB so I hope that means Nola' s picture come up now.

I think they might cover you either way but always go with the car over the iron, it's easier to run someone over "accidentally".

Aimee I am really angry that the doctor still hasn't gotten back with you. I wonder if he has left a message at your home?

I thought about that, too, even though I made it clear to her that I was on vacation with my cell. I will have dad check our machine when he gets home tonight.

They have now upped it to 20 to 30 inches and part of MD, including my county, are in the blizzard band.

Those pictures are It really is beautiful, but only if you were planning to stay home and rest for long periods of time - not if you're trying to still function!

WFD: assuming we get home, my Mom has some soup waiting for us. Laura and the kids are staying at my place tonight and until it is safe to travel tomorrow.

We spent the day at US/IOA and the lines weren't bad at all 15 minutes for most rides, 30 for the big ones. We hit highlights of both and will likely return later this trip to hit the new Rip Rocket, or whatever it's called, because it was down almost all day and when it finally came up it was 1.5 hour wait and still not running consistently.

Aimee - Enjoy dinner tonight!!!!!!! We did Rip Ride Rockit and waited 1 hour. We were disappointed in it. Hulk & Dueling Dragons are much better in our opinion!

Seriously?!?

I put it in a box yesterday at 3:30 that said the last mailing out was 3:00! Guess it DID go out yesterday! I was sad because I figured they wouldn't get out until today.

Usually my mail gets delivered between 4 and 6. Today I took some more cards out (not WFD) at about 1 so they'd go out today. Would you believe the mail had already come for the day?!? Guess they'll go out Monday, with the last of the cards (the ones still not in the box yet.)

Over the last week or so, I've gotten cards from: Marilyn, Aimee, Ann, Maria, Becky, Ellen, Lauri (Z), Lauri (LBKB), Sheryl, Vickie, Kathy, Lauren, Wendie, and Stephanie! Thanks y'all!

Hey all! Just wanted to pop in and say hi! Thank you for the bday wishes. I am bunkered at home with the boys.

No new news on my brother...he still has a fever and is still sedated. they are saying if he gets worse, they will move him to another hospital...

Yeah, she's definitely a Louisiana dog.

She managed to snatch some rice that I had left after I was done eating the chicken. Gotta work on that...

Here's some more photo's, taken at 4:15. This time I did the back deck and the patio. The deck has drifts and the patio has barely any at all.

great pics Marilyn...I have not looked outside for a couple hours so I have no idea what it looks like here...good luck I looked though, cuz my brain surgeon son left his snow boots on the porch and they were getting snowed on. Guess I trained him too well to not carry dirt, water, etc in the house.

Just braved the elements and went to take some pics of the yard and parking lot.
