Lauren brought the ears ! we all had fun with them even the waiters put them on.

I have got to say that our mini meet was awesome! Marisa and I were so looking forward to talking to everyone, we already know that we know you! It was funny, kind of like when friends who have know each other for forever get together...you just start talking wherever you left off?

That's how it was when I met my NOLA gals, like we'd known each other all of our lives. And then when Lauren & I met back in November it was like we were sisters being re-united.

Buddy is such a sweet man to have such a wonderful day with Kady and Miranda planned.

I'm so glad y'all had such a great day, each and every one of you deserve it!!!!!!

WFD - Red beans & rice, grilled chicken sausage and creole tomato salad.

Charlene -- Thanks for posting all the pictures. Everyone looks like they are having so much fun. I am glad you all had such a good time.

Nancy -- Your story about Buddy trying to keep Kady entertained had me laughing.

Glynis -- You are going to love that new computer! I have a Mac, and I don't know how I ever managed to do anything on the computer before it. My old one was so SLOW.

Speaking of the computer, I have to tear myself away from it for now. I need to get Caili's skates sharpened, and that is a long errand. Dinner will be leftovers from yesterday after skating. BBL

Morning all, hope everyone is well today. My whole schedule is thrown off, I was off yesterday and today but will be back to normal next week. We have training at work so days get moved around.

It looks like you all had a great time, thanks for sharing the pictures with us. Considering how the weather has been, you all really lucked out.

Kathy- It's a good thing your having grilled chicken sausage- did the bread pudding really have 6 cups of heavy cream?!? I don't think you had to worry about trying a new recipe, I don't know how it could come out bad.

Ann- I hope your feeling well and are somewhat comfortable, at least the cool weather is probably better for you than hot, sticky weather. (I'm really trying to make the best of the grey month we've had.)

Vickie- I didn't know the disney trip was a suprise to your boy, I don't know if I'd be able to keep it a secret. I would have loved to have seen his face.

I know I had more to say but the to do list in my head is to big and I don't remember. I have to go to the store to see what's for dinner, probably chicken of some kind, that's a shocker. I'll try to be back later but in case I'm not, good luck Ann and early congratulations. Little Emma will probably be here before my next days off. Can't wait to here how perfect she is and how proud her brother is.

I only made 1/2 of the recipe so it was ONLY 3 CUPS. I only had a little of it, it was really good but combining that with 'Ohana potatoes which have heavy cream AND fried chicken:scared1:...... I'm heading to the gym in a few minutes!

Robin, you are to sweet. Thanks for the kind words. You made me tear up, I can't believe she is almost here. I am so excited, and actually feeling well! (knock on wood!)

******

I made myself vacuum and clean toilets today. It needed to get done because who knows who will be at my house over the next few days! I am pacing myself and going to head to the bank and then to my parents for lunch. DM like me being there so she can help entertain DS. Dad is old school and gets nervous me driving after 8 months.

Dinner is going to be burgers on the grill again and maybe onion rings. I am being lazy with cooking, and DH is still training so his hours have been very random. I don't know how late he will be tonight, Mondays seem to be busy.

Charlene- your pics came out so good!

Laura- you can bet that we talked about you and Becky! We are all in awe of the food that you cook and of Becky's pictures.

Kathy- you did say that you all were like old friends when you met and I was hoping that we would be as fortunate. I did think about Bob and Sheryl, no ax murderers in our group either :rotfl2:

I don't know if I'd be able to keep it a secret.

We did a surprise trip for my two neices and three godsons back in 2005, it was the worse 5 months of my life! :headache: We told them 3 days before we left and did a scavenger hunt for puzzle pieces that had a poem about meeting "me" in Florida and had Mickeys head on it. We put out all of the pieces except the last one with FL and Mickey on it then sent them out to look for the missing piece, which we "found" and put in place. Then we had the oldest, who was 11, read it off. He threw his hands in the air and yelled, "We're going to Disneyland" :rotfl:

Any time I have told my mother when I was meeting people from here on the Dis she has told me not to go off alone by myself with them. :rolleyes1 Haven't met an ax murdered yet! :rotfl:

Not sure about the meat for dinner tonight but dinner will include squash of some kind. :thumbsup2 I'm thinking of throwing some chicken or a burger on the grill.
