Love to cook, love to post pics on my blog, and other sites.

Welcome to the thread!
I know I'm missing a lot of people, but I'm just too bleary eyed to remember anything. Between Timothy's teething, and Katie being sick all night long, I am wasted! I send you all a blanket of pixie dust!

Can you get someone to hold the fort down long enough for you to grab a nap - or a cocktail?
ABT = Atomic Buffalo Turds(I dont like the name, so I use the initials).
Jalapeno peppers stuffed with all sorts of variations. the one I use
whole seeded, and cored jalapenos with a slice taken out of one side. I then fill with a mixture of cream cheese, roasted garlic, Krab, shredded cheese, Then wrap in bacon, and put on the smoker for 2 hours. The peppers come out mild, and they are a tasty treat. Others put lil smokeys under the bacon, etc, lots of variations.
Oooh, that sounds delicious!!
Hi all,
I have not read to catch up, but just wanted to check in.
We had a busy day. DS got has hair cut and looks like a big boy! My brother dropped off two big shopping bags of formula for me. They did this last time for Luke too, and it was such a huge help. Then my cousin was in from Canada and she dropped of a rubbermaid container with 40 new outfits in it for Emma and a Big Brother book for Luke. So sweet...it was like having another baby shower. I was so excited because I had not picked up alot of clothes yet. She bought them from newborn to 24 months so we should be allset for a while.
I am not feeling great bloated and heartburn...we are going to all lay down and watch Night at the Museum. I am DVRing American Idol to watch later.
Night all,
Ann
What great family you have! I know diapers and formula aren't real exciting but sometimes it's the most thoughtful thing you can bring expectant parents!
Here is the recipe from tonight. It was ridiculously easy and tasty.
Chinese Orange Beef
Serves 5
1 slow cooker liner
2 lb cubed beef stew meat
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
1/2 cup orange marmalade
1 tsp each minced garlic and fresh ginger
1 red pepper, cut into 1/2 inch thick strips
6 oz snow peas, strings removed
4 scallions, thinly sliced
*I cheated and just bought a bag of frozen stirfry veggies instead of using red pepper and snow peas only
1. line 3 qt or larger crockpot with liner. Add beef, teriyaki sauce, orange marmalade, garlic and ginger. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours until beef is tender.
2. Turn to high, Stir in pepper strips and snow peas. Cover and cook 10 minutes until veggies are crisp and tender. Top with scallions.
I made brown rice to go under it and served it with eggrolls.
