The What's for Dinner Thread - August 2014 (recipe index in OP)

So I just cut the broccoli up, spritz with water, toss with seasoning, and place in oven at 425 for about 15 minutes.

If you want to try a detox look into the Eat to Live detox it is 6 weeks, and I lost about 15 pounds doing that, but I put it back on when I started eating again, but I felt amazing the last 4 weeks of it, the first week was a little hard. I checked the book out from the library.

It is not vegan per say it is plant based. Vegan is a life stye and Plant based is a diet only way of life. I still wear my leather shoes, have leather purses, and have animal products in my house. Vegans do not eat honey, and honey is part of my diet. among other things... :hyper:

:thumbsup2

I'll look into it. I have exactly 6 weeks until Chinese New Year. THank you.

Happy New Year, everyone!

WFDT?

I turned my Christmas turkey into a Chinese style hot and sour soup.

Happy New year.

We are having black eyed peas, kale, and David is adding a pork chop to his.

WFDT?

I'll stir-fry some of those snow peas, zucchini, squash and beans that my neighbour swapped me for the snow peas for DH and myself. I got a piece of steak that we will cook up for DS. I might have a little of the steak.
We'll also make a salad with that lettuce we harvested.

Yes. Especially if I want to try and do a detox before Chinese New Year.

I so understand that. I normally make Pork and Ginger potstickers for New Year's but have no idea what I will do this year?

You could substitute the pork with cabbage, carrots, shiitake mushrooms and spinach?
