Friday 27th June

We never heard Mickey calling at 6. Gary did and reset it for 7.30 instead. This time we heard it and got the bus to Epcot and were there for 9. Today was our last day and we had a list of things to do. The kids went straight to Test Track and then we all did Ellens adventure and Cramium command. It was 11am and hunger took over so we went to the Electric Umbrella for burgers and fries. We did Figmant next then the plan was MGM but it was so hot that we decided to go home and go in the pool. We all went swimming and then I decided to do the laundry and start packing. We went for the bus to MGM at3.50. We just missed it and had to wait until 4.10 for the next one. Our PS was for 4.30 and we didn’t get to MGM until then. Gary looked at the map and got us lost again we had to ask a cm the way. We got to Mama Melroses at 4.40 and were seated straight away. We were all impressed and had the best server ever. The drinks just kept coming and so did the food. Salad and chicken pizza to start with. Then a main course each Julie had chicken parmesan, I had woodland chicken and Gary had spicy sausage all served with different pastas. Then tiramisu for sweet. We all left loads but it was delicious. It came to $92.63 altogether. We left at 6.05 and had been eating the whole time. Had a slow walk to Who wants to be a millionaire and got in for the last show. We all enjoyed it especially when the first contestent was a 10 year old boy. He got to 2000 then lost the next question. The next person got to 32000. They said that they had given a cruise away 2 shows ago. None of us managed to get onto the leader board. Next we went to the Backlot tour and were impressed with walking straight on.We had a slow walk to the Fantasmic dinner package entrance next to Oscars. We got in at 8.20. There were girls at the front selling ponchos. Gary had been watching the weather channel before we came out and it said it would rain so we had taken our kagouls. At 8.30 the heavens opened. It was pouring down. A lot of people left. At 8.45 they made an announcement that Fantasmic may be cancelled or postponed. More people left and the crowd went crazy. Everyone was doing Mexican waves and chanting that the show must go on. At 9.00 the lights dimmed and Fantasmic started . The whole crowd went up. The rain eased off as well so that was good. There were subtle changes to the show, like the dancers on the boats were not dancing as much and the dragon hardly moved. We all felt quite sad when we walked out as it was nearly the end of our holiday. Had a last leisurely walk to the bus.We called into the hotel shop for last minute presents then went back to the room. Julie watched TV, I lay on the bed drinking my doc otis and Gary packed the last few odds and ends.
