The DC pkg. is great but I have APs and can not use it.
so I was wondering if I am the only one still in this life boat waiting for a rescue!
 HELP:confused:

I think I may be needing those codes too- still need to figure it out!

The pkg doesn't help me either. We are doing the 4 night Wonder cruise, and need 4 nights following the cruise. I'm really hope they have a room only sale at some point, but I have a sinking feeling that it may not happen this year.

Count me in too!

There's a lot of folks waiting on the "who's going in August" thread!

Well I did my weekly call and was told no new codes this week. (she said they know about a week in advance) APs or reg.codes. Oh well I hope I can find some crackers in this boat I think Im going to be in here a little longer.
Anyone is welcome to join me:jester:

This makes me angry because I am an annual passholder and DVC member and wanted to add some days at an onsite hotel. I would have to pay rack rate to do this. So it means we'll go to universal. Barb

We really still want to stay on Disney property, but we wouldn't have bought this package even if we hadn't already bought our APs. Maybe I'm the only one, but I still think it's pretty expensive. We bought APs for ~ $1400 for our family and are looking to spend less than $1200 for 14 nights on a room. For a moderate it would be more than $3300 and we wouldn't have our passes for our next trip.
So hopefully they'll still have AP rates, or we'll be staying off property.

I need a room only code for 3 nights at AKL July 5 - 8. I hate waiting!

ACK! Mary in mousesavers reckons Disney will sell out most of their resort rooms with this package and that there won't be many rooms left and recommends booking this package if you're not an AP holder.

Where does this leave us non-US residents?

I'm waiting too

Have DC membership and AP with a room only booked at Poly for 3 nights.

I hate this package. Not everyone goes to Disney for 7 days. Not everyone needs UPH tickets. Looks like the AP holders are getting screwed again. Whats new?

Hi guys!
I have my room booked. So I know I will have a room to stay in. I was just hoping to get the cost down.
It will be my Ann. and the first time we booked a deluxe. The cost is really high, but if I could get a code or AP rate we would be able to do some extra stuff like the fireworks cruise, or have another nice dinner, or even be able to stay at the YC for all 7 days instead of just 5 and then have to move to ASM!
So I guess we just wait and hope for the best.............................

Did anyone bring water I have a feeling we will be here a while!:smooth:

I decided to help spread out the cost of this vacation by buying my AP early. So I've got 2 vouchers sitting here waiting to be turned in. I'm number crunching and trying to decide whether I should jut put them away for a future trip.

Another complication is that I want to stay 11 nights not 7. It sure would be nice to get a room only discount so I can stay with my current plans.

We also have APs, so that package really does not work, when you break down the cost, it really is not that good of a deal anyway...

You are not alone! I am a DC member and I did some pricing out. The Dreammaker package and the Fairtale Package are basically the same, except one you get a pin and one you get a picture.

I asked for the price for 4 nights with the DM package and the stay 7 only pay for 4 nights with the FT package. You would think they should be the same right?

WRONG! The FT package is almost $300 more! Why? I asked the DC that, and they kept tap dancing around the issue saying they were different packages!
Also, one of my DD's is considered an adult (barely). So with CRO that is $25 more a night in a deluxe. With the package it means paying for another full adult rate!

I have my rooms still through CRO, and I'll just keep hoping that some codes or AP's come out! Hopefully more people will realize this package is not for them, and not book it, leaving more rooms for us!

Is the boat big enough for me to come aboard? I'll bring food and water!

AP's here too. We were debating another trip in September and after reading Mary's guess that the 'room only' codes aren't going to happen, we will probably not bother. We were going to upgrade to a deluxe because of the AP's. I guess Disney will lose our business this year. Oh well, back to the 3 year plan.

Hi !I called to inquire on the new Fairy tale pkg.In our family of 4 I hold the pass.I asked the CM if anything could be done she said they hadn't figured that problem out.Only thing she could do would be to charge me for UPH.I never was a big fan of length of stay passes. We usually fly in late and fly out early so to be charged for that day is ridiculousSo I will sit here dreaming of an AP rate.I agree with alot of you.Once people do the actual math it isn't "the Deal of the century"it's been plugged as.The downside is the parks will be alot more crowded then we had anticipated in mid August.I hope the park hours will reflect this.

Have faith!

I don't think they 'll sell out all the rooms. This is marketing at its best every one getting caught in the moment.

Dont get caught in the moment!,
Like the stock market when you were starting to feel you were being left out and missing some thing, soon there after the bottom fell out and the bargains came out, the prices dropped, and you were glad you didnt lock in to any thing. ( Stocks or Vacation Packages)

I have my rooms booked through CRO waiting impatiently.

Good luck every one
and keep Checking

cindala,
Welcome aboard!:D
Dont forget the chocolate!
I cant go without chocolate for long:o
