Monday 8th September

the more observant among you may have noticed that I have skipped a few days( I have no chance of finishing this if I dont) we had a great time during those days, but the boys and Men were not well so we did everything at a much slower pace, anyway on to more exciting things....

Today we checked into the contemporary resort and I was beyond excited as this was our first stay onsite.
We were given room 4524 on the 9th floor we had fantastic views of bay lake and an added bonus was tht our room was right at the end of the corridor so we had a great view of MK on the way in.

After exploring our room and much whooping and hollering we purchased our refillable mugs and headed for the marina.
At this point I thought Kieran was gong to Burst with excitment as he has waited for years to be able to drive a "Mouse Boat" ( he has called them this since he was 6)
the boys all had a great time, while I relaxed on the beach and took piccies, poor pete felt a bit  after kierans James Bond style driving :rotfl:

the boys took this picture, as all Holiday they were affectionately Known as the "Mandy Mouse" and this is what they shouted whenever they saw one :rotfl:

Now the Boys had been well and truly seduced by the Lure of attending extra magic hours and actually made me cancel our dinner booked at chef Mickeys so they could attend them at DHS ( I missed my fix of napkin twirling but I made them promise its first on the list next Trip ) so we ended up eating at the ABC commisionary not great, but the boys couldnt care less they had the Disney Bug.

we went on toy story,Muppets, rock n roller coaster and the great movie ride
we headed back to the contemporary on an extreme high. My hubby who has never wanted to stay onsite was a changed man, and announced we could stay onsite again ( he has since booked the Pop century for our 10th wedding aniverary trip, cant quite stretch to the Contemporary for that trip, but hoping for a few days in the summer ;) )

I dont think anybody got much sleep that night as Kieran was delerious with excitement and couldnt stop talking about how great staying at Disney was:rotfl2:

Tomorrow A lovely surprise for Jordan and MNSSHP

What a great day! Fantasic photos! Your view from the Contemporary looks great - I would LOVE to stay there! :)

Hmm, shouting 'Mandy Mouse' whenever they saw a bus - I'm not sure if that's a compliment or not :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Great photos Rachel, we loved the Contempory Resort too, it sounds like you had a lovely day :)

I love that the boys called the cruise bus the Mandy Mouse that is classic LOL

Once you stay on site there is no going back, next thing you know you will be buying into DVC!!!
