The Wave @ CR?

No it's has not opened yet. Before it does they 1st have to complete the renovations where the Food & Fun Center use to be since that is where it will be located and they have to close the Concourse Steakhouse, because they don't want both restaurants opened at the same time. So I would say it should open sometime this June, because the Concourse Steakhouse last day of operations is on May 31.

I hope so because we willbe at the CR resort in Dec.

WDW released this info on The Wave about a week ago:

This summer, The Wave debuts at Disney's Contemporary Resort, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Located on the first floor with a superlounge, the upscale restaurant will offer bold American cooking with flavors from all over the world. The seasonal menu will feature local and regional products when possible, organic beers and trendy cocktails such as the "antioxidant cosmo" with açai juice. The innovative wine list has a quirky claim to fame -- all screw caps, no corks. Cutting-edge wines from around the globe will be showcased.

I've asked about it twice when making ADRs and have been told each time that no information is available yet.

I just took the plunge and changed one of my ADR's for dinner at The Wave in September. I guess they just opened this weekend. Haven't read any DIS reviews yet, but there is one review on AllEars that is really glowing...crossing my fingers that it was a good decision to give up breakfast with Mary Poppins and Alice at 1900 PF for this one! Dinner at a monorail resort makes more sense for our touring plan that day anyway, and we are usually up for an adventure :thumbsup2

There will be a review of The Wave on the DIS Unplugged podcast this week. It is normally available on Tuesdays but was actually delayed until Thursday (tomorrow)...so check it out. :thumbsup2

I can't wait to hear their review, as a lot of people are downing this restaurant and have never been there. It should be interesting to hear what the feel of the restaurant is as that is hard to tell from what I have seen/heard thus far.
