Hi all!

Going to the World in a few days, and already have a ticket for Typhoon Lagoon. Turns out I injured myself recently (femoral neck stress fracture) and have been on crutches for two months, and will be using an ECV at Walt Disney World.

What can I do at Typhoon Lagoon? It will be my first visit there. Is it very ECV accessible??? is it even practical to go?

thanks.

There are a lot of paved paths. It may not be easy to drive on the grass, and DO NOT drive on the sand!

There is the lazy river, and some slides that are not severe. All of the slides have stairs, but Crush 'N Gusher does have an elevator available for access. And, of course the wave ppol, which has "bobbing" waves, as opposed to surf waves, about half the time.

Although I work at TL, I do not go to either water parks as I'm not into swimming at all.

TL has a nice theme, and the lazy river is fun. You might also try the shallow end of the wave pool and if you can walk a bit the Shark Reef might be doable.

As for the slides, they all have stairs except for Crush n Gusher, which has an elevator. The catch is, it is one serious slide. I think it's described as a water coaster. Anyway, it's accessible but I don't know that I would ride it with an injury. Might depend on how healed you are.

So, TL can be fun but if you would be going primarily for the slides it might not be worth it.
