How difficult is it to upgrade on site? I almost rather go to guest relations than waiting 3-5 hours on the phone.

I hate park pass reservations more than I hate Genie+.Disney does this to themselves. Park reservations shouldn’t be tied to the tickets themselves as long as you have a valid ticket. This is crazy.
“You went from a one day pass to an incredi-pass? Great, thanks for the extra cash but you cannot come in as we erased your park reservation.”![]()
Can you do this without them cancelling current park reservations? There's an option to upgrade ticket on the Disney app. You can only add days, hoppers, water parks...

There is not a way to upgrade from existing ticket to an AP online. You have to call. Otherwise none of us would have sat on hold for so long. Good luck!
I meant "on site" at the park guest relations
Dang that sucks! After two dropped phone calls yesterday, I sat on hold for 6 hours the 3rd time before finally getting to speak to someone in ticketing (thank goodness for AirPods all day). I never did get a call back as promised on Wednesday.
FWIW, I was told NOT to cancel my park pass reservations. As I was only updating my ticket to an AP and my park pass reservations were for me & 5 others, I was told that they would not automatically cancel on their own since they are not linked directly to my ticket. So, seeing how that plays out. So far, so good.

I haven't read any actual reports of reservations getting dropped.Lot of horror stories on reservation dropped...
exactly!I would think you would want your AP at the beginning of your trip so you can use the dining and gift shop discounts.
Random question.....does the wait hold language over two hours mean somewhere between 2 and 3 hours or anything passed 2 hours? I am at an 1.5 hours after previous holds of 25 and 88 minutes and when this one started it said over 2 hours. I have a meeting in an hour and CROSSING FINGERS someone picks up by then. I was transferred to pay the balance after upgrading tickets to an annual pass. I didn't think I would have another long wait, but I guess I was wrong. I am afraid to go because then am I in limbo or back to square 1?
