The Walking Dead on AMC

I too wondered about Melissa McBride being very quiet and sad during TD. I'm hoping it was just the aftermath of that episode and the intensity affecting eveyone. I hope she's not going to be leaving the show any time soon. Did anyone else hear her talking about how Judith was her second chance at raising a girl and she wouldn't make the same mistakes she made before? I think she was hinting at her sticking around for a while.

The characters themselves don't know how long they're going to be sticking around. They don't know until they get the script. So she may be safe for the next two episodes, and dead the first episode of the fifth season.

Also, I get the feeling that the actors like playing games with us. After David Morrissey going on and on about what we could expect from the Governor, only to have him die the next episode.... I don't trust a one of them!!

When she was talking about leaving with Lizzie, I was wondering how you would ever sleep with her around you? Even if you take away her knife and gun she could still find a sharp stick or something. I wish they would have given us a bit of backstory on Lizzie, to show us if there was something in her childhood that made her that way?

I think that's why they eventually made the decision that they did. There's no way they could've gone about with her along. Especially knowing that she was planning on killing Judith as well. Who would she have killed after that? Someone would always have to keep an eye on her and that's nearly impossible in the ZA.

You couldn't just leave her on her own either. If another group comes upon her, they would have no idea what she would do. Though most likely she would have gotten too close to a walker & got bit.

Regarding Talking Dead, I wonder how far in advance the crew, guests and audience members get to view the latest episode of TWD? It's been alluded to in previous episodes and again last night when the first audience member asked a question.

I did not see that coming at all last night but then again I thought Lizzie was gonna suffocate Judith when the walkers got close and then Carole showed up.

Do you all think that Ty has really forgave her?

Well she said "I saw it hours ago!"

Exactly... I felt a little meh about the whole thing. But yeah, that male guest was crying, too! And they all looked shell-shocked, like it happened for real. Obviously THEY didn't read the spoilers!!
I think that he was teasing the other guest. They tease each other a lot when they're on the show.

Thanks, I knew it was alluded to but I was being bothered last night so I couldn't quite make it out. Darn pesky dogs. Just kidding, I love them but they decided to bark at the wind last night during Talking Dead. At least I think it was the wind, I never got up to check. :scared1:

I should have never read the spolier...am so mad at myself

I thought it was pretty obvious that he was ACTING all overdramatic. He wasn't crying at all.

Didn't the female comedian say I saw it 4 days ago, so I went back and watched the whole season and she noticed when Lizzy and Mika's dad died they told her to look at the flowers?

I read the spoilers for last weeks show and they were so spot on and really ruined the whole show for me. This week I stayed away but it was pretty hard. There was a lot of talk about Lizzie and Mika being the Ben and Billy from the comics so this episode was not very surprising to me. Not really surprised about Carol killing Lizzie either because she has gone a little bat crazy too

Yes. He sees now the sacrifice she made in order to protect the group. You can't live in the world they do and not believe in utilitarianism. If you don't believe in it, then you quickly become a bad guy.

Carol's come a long, long way since the first season. In many ways, she's the character that's grown the most.

I am wondering if the fire was the cabin. There were burned walkers coming after them. Where there walkers at the cabin when Daryl and Beth burned it down?

I think it was the cabin also. When they were watching it burn, flipping it off, a group of walkers came out of the woods, to their left. Maybe about 4 or 5. Not sure if those were the walkers that showed up in the Grove though.

I peeked at the spoiler, enough to know that Mika died, but that was it, so when I saw how it happened I was gobsmacked. I about died when she said that she was just getting ready to do Judith. :faint:

Carol had to do what she did. There is no way they could have kept Lizzie around. You would never know what she would do next. Nobody would be safe.

That is going to be a real awkward walk to Terminus.

I think it was the cabin also. On TD, they did not answer for certain if it was the cabin or not. They were kind of elusive about it. I thought it was fairly obvious it was the cabin, but maybe not.

I think Ty forgave Carol but like he said, he won't forget. I think he knows deep down she did it for the good of the group, not to be malicious or evil.

Chris Hardwick has said they usually see the episode that afternoon. The screeners go out earlier in the week so the sites who write their recaps are ready to post them the night the show airs, so it's likely that he and at least he and whoever the guests are that week can see them even earlier.

As far as spoilers, I never read them. I have read the comics, so I do have an idea what's coming, but the shows usually does things differently and I don't like to be spoiled on how they're going to do it.

I suspected that Lizzie was going to kill Mika this week, like Ben killed Billy in the comics, but I had no idea how the show was going to handle it and it was still absolutely brutal to watch.

I'm pretty positive it was the cabin burning and the walkers were the ones that Daryl and Beth saw coming. They said the walkers are attracted to light and movement, both of which you would get from the burning cabin. So I think they just walked right into the burning cabin and kept going.

Those burnt walkers were really creepy! I do think it was the cabin. They are following the same tracks, so they can't be too far apart. At some point, I bet we'll see another group walk past that walker stuck on the tracks that Lizzie was feeding the rats to.
