I guess I'm in the minority with the spoilers.

I've read the comics, so I knew where this story line was headed, but knowing that didn't make the subject any less disturbing.

I think knowing how things were going to play out helped soften the shock of it all...if that makes sense.

Oh it's on now......

Terminus......

Not your momma's Woodbury.....

It's about to get real up in here.

Ah, someone who feels the same way I do! I'm glad I read the spoilers and was prepared for what was to come.

So do you think the fire was the shack burning? If so, and the burnt walkers show up , they were fairly close to Beth and Daryl.

Yes, this is exactly what I think, and yes, they are all very close to each other but just far enough apart that they don't know it.

Once again I can't get over how adults would leave children unattended. Reminds me of Lori. Tyrese and Carol both witnessed strange behavior from Lizzie, but did not hesitate to leave her alone with the younger kids multiple times.

It was obvious that Lizzie suffered from something long ago, but no one asked Mika, or even Lizzie about it. Who would leave a child a gun after that scary conversation that night?

I think they thought that Lizzie had a moment of realization and she understood that the walkers were not good, I feel that way because she was helping to kill them when they were following them back through the fence.
I'm sure her Father and sister knew what happened to her earlier in life but they feared being rejected by the group so they didn't tell anyone but it sure would have been nice for them to tell us what happened to her.

There is no way carol would have let Lizzie suffer by letting her get eaten. Maybe an evil adult but not a child. She wanted it to be as quick and painless as she could. I can't even imagine having to deal with that. It was so awful.

:thumbsup2

Yes. He sees now the sacrifice she made in order to protect the group. You can't live in the world they do and not believe in utilitarianism. If you don't believe in it, then you quickly become a bad guy.

Carol's come a long, long way since the first season. In many ways, she's the character that's grown the most.

:thumbsup2 Carol is definitely the character who has grown the most, from a quiet, shy abused wife to a butt kicking zombie killer who has the best interests of the group in mind. I really didn't believe she killed Karen and David but when she told Tyrese she did then I finally believed it.

I am wondering if the fire was the cabin. There were burned walkers coming after them. Where there walkers at the cabin when Daryl and Beth burned it down?

yes, there were walkers at the cabin, they came out as Beth and Daryl were walking away.

I'm glad I did not read the spoilers, it would have ruined the show for me. I was telling DBF I was not ready for the last 2 episodes and I had all these questions, he started to look up spoilers and then stopped and said "no, we want to just watch them, not spoil them" and he's right.

I cried from the moment they came back from the hunt and found Mica until the moment Carol killed Lizzie, and then still cried a little while longer. What a heart breaking episode, I mean I knew what was going to happen with Lizzie, but had NO idea that Lizzie was going to kill Mica. I haven't read the comics and don't plan to, I don't want to ruin anything. But I want Daryl AWAY from that group that found him, and I want everyone to find each other before the last season....probably won't happen but that's what I want. lol

Haven't read the other posts but I LOVED Sunday's episode!

So glad producers are not "tip toeing" around characters because of their age, whether young or old, in a zombie apocalypse, everyone is fair game.

The entire episode was one of the best I have seen and the young actress who played "Lizzie" was phenomenal. She was soooo creepy and convincing in her role.

The walkers who came out of the bush were smokin'! :rotfl2: They obviously came from the cabin Daryl and Beth started on fire.....it is just so cool the way we are seeing that they are actually so much closer to each other than they realize.

Just started reading the books, they are so much better than I thought they would be---didn't know what to think with the "comic book" format but so far, so good!

Can I ask ????? Is Terminus bad ?

I have no idea. In the comic book the place they end up at, after they leave the prison, isn't a bad place, but it isn't called Terminus.

Also, the writers are deviating greatly from the comic book to create the show. They are following things, like locations, closely enough for some of us to get a general idea of what location might be next, like the farm, or the prison...but they are also throwing in things that never happened in the comic book series. One example is the CDC storyline. That never happened in the comic book.

There are characters on the TV show that are well known figures from the comic book series, however, the way they have been introduced, have died, or have survived is much different from the comic book versions.

The Lizzie and Mika storyline was taken from the comic book, but it was changed a lot. The only thing that happened exactly like the comic book was Lizzie killing Mika...everything else was changed.

Robert Kirkman said in an interview that Terminus wasn't a good place, but who knows if he's telling the truth.

Who says Lizzie had to have mental illness or trauma before in her life?
A kid living in this kind of environment is kind of reason enough to go over the deep end.

I tell you, every time I think this show has pushed the boundaries as far as they can go, they susprise me again.

Thought this was hilarious, so I'm sharing:

I didn't read any spoilers but figured they'd be following close to the Billy story line in the comics. So I wasn't as shocked with the episode, though it was still very disturbing. We knew Lizzie had a few loose screws from them hinting at her killing the bunnies and feeding the walkers, but didn't realize how messed up she was until this episode. :scared:

In my opinion Lizzie didn’t turn out the way she did solely because of the zombie apocalypse. Sad to say but there are sociopaths born every day. They don’t all become serial killers but those that did started they way she did. Killing and torturing animals. Used to have a potential serial killer kid in our subdivision. Set fires. Hurt puppies. He was a piece of work. So glad when they moved. Also have know several sociopaths in the business world. Lizzie may have gone further because of what she saw and experienced but I think she was destined to be this way.

This is what I think too, she would have been crazy even without the za.

I agree. When Mika told her to look at the flowers after they killed the walker at the house, what she said was "Look at the flowers like you're supposed to," which had me thinking that maybe that was something a parent had taught her to when she had episodes in the past (she also told her to look at the flowers when their father was killed).

The whole zombie apocalypse wasn't helping, but I think she was just a very sick little girl regardless. Being confused about the walkers is one thing, but killing animals and trying to smother the baby was a whole other thing. There was also an earlier episode were she was sliding her shoe around in a puddle of blood in one of the prison cells as well.

Like Carol said, "It was always there.".

Anyone who plays the Telltale Walking Dead video game will get this one. :rotfl2:

The way Mika was telling her to look at the flowers like she's supposed to made it seem to me that she had had issues beforehand.

Oooh, that's what I'm afraid of...haven't read the comic books, please don't spoil it for me! :thumbsup2:rotfl:

Not spoiling anything and "Terminus" doesn't appear in the comics. It's the original name for Atlanta, oddly enough (inspiration there, I suppose), but I am assuming that where they all end up is going to be not so great....

Plus, I suspect we are about to lose some characters....either by season's end or beginning of next.

I thought the same thing.

Yes, I got that as well. Like it was her focus item to calm down and try to come back to reality. I wonder if her mom used to tell her that, or something, which is why a little back story would have been nice.
